They have a decent amount of ready to go items like jams, merch and such. Gotta try some next time.“

“Great pastries, but the frustrating thing about it is they don’t stock enough or bake enough on the weekends. They know it’s always crowded but any time I go around 11am-12pm, they are out of most pastries. It can be frustrating when you don’t live in downtown and drive out of the way to go there.

Seems like they lose money from not baking enough. I understand you also can’t bake too much as you lose money that way.

First world problems but I hope they adjust inventory to last longer given their closing time is 4pm. They stock as if it closes at 12pm“

“UPDATED RESPONSE: The food here was excellent — great quality and outstanding flavor. The restaurant was very clean, which I really appreciated. They didn’t have bottled water, (update: they had filtered water better than bottled for free!) and the person taking our order wasn’t very friendly or welcoming (maybe he was having a bad day it’s hard to tip a cashier who isn’t friendly). However, the overall experience was still very positive. The food and cleanliness definitely make this a restaurant worth it!“

“I visit my daughter in Raleigh from Texas and she took me to this bakery last year and we bought a plain loaf of sourdough bread, it is the best and freshest I have ever had. I was blown away by the variety of exotic fruits, and the extensive choice of fish. The store is, certainly, a cultural experience!
