“This restaurant is wonderful. The tonkotsu ramen was rich and flavorful, complemented perfectly by the fresh sushi and delicious oyster shots. Any fan of ramen or Japanese food in general should try this place. It's a little pricey but it's worth it.“
“The food has always been amazing here, the rolls, the hibachi is always great. The service can be either great or okay, as someone who's worked in the food industry I get it because anytime we go it's packed. I love the inside of the restaurant, the dim lights make it look like there's a mystery.I love it!“
“me and my friends always come here together. its such a chill cafe. there are so many cute things like manga, snacks, videogames, and even cool stationary things to purchase. i love the variety of food that there is. my go to order is a crab supreme with a berry moose and a unsweet green tea. smoothies here are pretty good too, i try to taste a new one every time i go.“
“Our inaugural visit to Sushi Republic left us with mostly positive impressions. The parking situation can be a tad tight, especially for larger SUVs navigating the ramp. However, for most vehicles, it’s manageable. The food offerings were decent overall. We particularly enjoyed the fried calamari and found the fried udon to be excellent. The sushi and sashimi platter impressed us with its freshness, although it’s worth noting that they don’t use traditional vinegar rice like authentic Japanese sushi. The fried rice was a standout—flavorful and satisfying. On the other hand, the chicken skewer and fried tuna mushroom left us somewhat underwhelmed. The restaurant’s atmosphere and service, however, were delightful. For Americanized Japanese cuisine, the food quality is commendable. Plus, the pricing is quite reasonable. Overall, a positive experience.“
“Our whole family went there for my son's 22nd birthday. Our food was delicious and our server was fantastic.Kid-friendliness: We had an 8-month-old and a 2 and 1/2-year-old. That was the first time the 8-month-old actually had anything other than baby food and she gobbled it up. And the two and a half year old loved the food so much. When they brought the to go boxes she put her hand out for her box and started putting her leftovers in it to bring home.“
“They have the Best coconut shrimp. The hibachi buffet is great. The food is starting to taste a little different from what it did before. It seems like the restaurant is getting more “Americanized” , instead of sticking with their own international selections and seasonings. But still, an overall great restaurant for the family or for someone who doesn’t know exactly what they want to eat.“
“Best japanese food place ever! Their food taste amazinggg. Me and, my husband love going here for lunch and, dinner. We had order to go food. Customer service is good even though it was a long wait but it wasn’t their fault &&’ we don’t mind waiting patiently for our order unlike two of the other customers who were being very rude, ignorant, and entitled towards the workers which was really annoying but other than that highly recommended this place! ?“
“I am from Eden NC, so when i have an appointment in greensboro i get something to eat from a local restaurant. Today was Poke Bowl. Salmon, tuna, mango, cucumber and avocados. I haven't been to this one yet. Didnt realize it was in the downtown area. So i wasnt ready for non existing parking.I ordered online. The gentleman at the front must have had somethings on his mind as he wasnt very friendly. The bowl was yummy. Fish was very fresh as was the rest of the ingredients. It was a tad more expensive than another local place that services poke bowls.Parking: Downtown, very few spaces.“
“Wonderful dining experience. The presentation was beautiful and the sashimi and rolls were fresh and delicious. The ambience is great for date night. We split a bottle of hot sake. I wasn’t a fan of the type of music playing but that’s my only complaint!“
“Staff was nice and attentive .....the hibachi chef we had was very cool...social....he even did a smoking choi choo train of fire...instead of the traditional volcano. Food was great! I had filet...chicken..and shrimp.....it comes with noodles and fried rice and veggies....i was super full and had leftovers for work the next day. Sorry no pics....but i personally think its better than Arigatos? ....which i love....but hey...i said what i said!?Parking: Odd shaped parking lot. But normally plenty of spaces ..if they are full...i park next door“
“First timer! I absolutely loved their sushi. for the pricing, it was definitely worth it! The service was amazing. Our server always came and checked on us and made sure we were taken care of. The food came quickly, and it was absolutely delicious!“
“Rating a 5 because I've been here before and enjoyed it, but this is the same place as Mizumi and the hours are not correct on this "Sushi Cutie" listing. Went today at 4 thinking it was a new place since the listening said it was open, but they weren't going to be open for an hour. Please remove this listing or match the actual Mizumi hours!“
“Great quality and high grade sushi all around. The menu was full of baked/fried sushi rolls. We would rather have more options for traditional raw rolls. Overall, the selection that was available for raw nigiri/sashimi/rolls was excellent. Service was great with friendly staff. Comfortable and casual atmosphere for our whole family to enjoy including our kids.“
“My meal was okay(chicken hibachi), 2 of my friends did not like their food(chicken teriyaki) , and the other did (several sushi plates). The yum yum sauce was not good at all. I probably wouldn’t go again because there are other places I enjoy more.“
“This buffet is really nice! They have so much to choose from, all kinds of desserts, a sushi bar, lots of seafood at dinner time, and everything was delicious. All of the employees were kind and were quick to take our dirty plates and refill our drinks. It was a bit pricey at $76 for 3 adults but we'll definitely be back soon!“
“I go here with the family a few times a year. Always great food! They have THE BEST scallops I have ever had in my life and I consider myself a bit of a food snob. Every other hibachi place I’ve been to undercooks them and under seasons scallops and they’re just gross and tasteless. Even if you don’t like scallops, try them here. It’s a bit fishy, being from a type of clam, but if you like shrimp you’ll like their scallop. Always have fun. Make sure to be very precise about the alcoholic drinks you order, unless it’s directly at a bar. It’s hard to hear in there and they’ve gotten my order wrong a couple of times. They’re always willing to happily rectify the error though so I’m not going to fault them for mistakes we could all make.“
“Our experience at Black Ginger was extraordinary! The restaurant is clean and bright, with an inviting and pleasant atmosphere, and they deserve way more attention and customers than they currently have! Our server was so kind and patient with us as we decided on our order, and once our meals were served to us, we had an amazing dining experience. Our food was bursting with flavor, served at a great temperature, and left each of us feeling satiated and satisfied. We enjoyed our time at this lovely restaurant, and hope to go back again and again.“
“I've never had Boba before the staff was helpfull but kinda reserved like they were really inconvenienced by having to explain how it worked. I gave them a 10% tip for explaining the place was clean and the tea was excellent but it's not for everyone Boba tea has chewy bits some people don't like. I had the mang pineapple milk with leechieDietary restrictions: Many options to choose from and you can also have them modify your orderWheelchair accessibility: Was a ramp to the sidewalk, the walkways were clear enough for a wheelchair but I didn't check the bathrooms.“
