“My girlfriend and I had a great experience dining in. The restaurant was so busy but the staff handled it like a champ! The manager Rodney, stepped in to help his employee Milan when she was busy helping a large party. He helped get our drinks ordered until she could come around and help. Despite them being super busy we didn’t wait long, and were consistently being checked on and made sure we were comfortable. My third time dining at this location and we will definitely return! We recommend the Honey Chicken, Wonton Soup, and the worlds best Lettuce Wraps obviously.“

“I always go to this place when I’m in town visiting family!
It’s the best Mei fun I’ve ever been able to find and that’s always my go to Asian food. I order it every time sometimes I get it with chicken sometimes I get it with beef, but regardless of how I have it done it is always amazing! My favorite is to get it with tofu, but that is a three dollar extra charge so generally I don’t get it with tofu. That would be my only complaint about this place is that it’s three dollars extra to have tofu instead of chicken, which seems crazy to me, but it was explained to me that they don’t use it as much so they pay more for it. I also really love the pork dumplings! I would love if they added more dim sum to their menu cause that would be absolutely incredible for me lol. I believe it’s family owned and it’s just a really great place.“

“Our kids did a birthday party/8th grade team night and it was amazing! Food, service, and the amazing performance cooking! 😊“

“I had a really bad ear infection and had trouble chewing anything really hard due to the nerve pain. I told the cashier that I needed something I can chew, explaining why. The cook came out and asked me to try it and see if my food was soft enough to eat before packing it up. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.“

“Basically what you'd expect from your typical neighbourhood Chinese restaurant.

I bought the approx $11 10 piece butterfly shrimp with fried rice and hot oil.

Rice tastes fairly bland in my opinion, but I like food extra seasoned to take that into consideration.

Hot oil tastes quite underwhelming, but it makes the much rice better so I get it. The butterfly shrimp is fantastic. I also heard good things about their donuts and rolls.

Portion size is very good for the price. Overall I would recommend if you want a cheaper way to eat a lot of food.“

“Our go to for Chinese in the area!! My all time fav dish is the chicken and vegetables with garlic sauce - you have to try it! I haven’t had a single thing I haven’t liked, and have found customer service to be fantastic and the staff to be friendly. Although very busy at times, they still greet you with a smile when you come up to the window.“

“Food is great and the staff is friendly. The other day was the first time I ate here since I was kid and the food is just as good! It’s disappointing that they are takeout only (the entire dining section is closed off) but other than that I have nothing but praise.“

“While on vacation with family, we decided to order Chinese food, and overall, this was the best I’ve had in a long time. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the flavors were spot on. The only real disappointment was the crab Rangoon, it lacked flavor completely, and unfortunately, we ended up tossing both orders.

One thing I would suggest is packaging the fried chicken separately. Ours was placed with other items, which made it soggy by the time it arrived. Also, I ordered a 2-liter soda but was given four small cans instead, which isn’t quite the same amount that part felt a bit misleading.

Despite those few issues, the rest of the food was delicious, and we’d still consider ordering again if we’re in the area.“

“Decent. Was expecting better tasting dishes based on the other reviews. Not bad though. Was easy to call and order fast, and was ready when I arrived. Prices are reasonable. Overall, nothing great yet nothing to complain about. Except for the fried noodles were k8nd of , mehh. Sweet and sour chicken was not crispy at all , the sauce was good though. Egg rolls and rice were good.“

“I ordered the beef lo mein, and as the store name implies, it "taste good".
I called in my order and arrived about 10 mins after, I was quoted an oddly specific time of 7 mins. However, when I arrived I waited about 10 more mins for the food. That being said, it was fresh so I'm not complaining.
The lobby isn't what you would call inviting or necessarily clean. The menu is old printed paper with typos but they also have the classic menu at the counter. See attached pics.
They do try to distract you from the 90 health rating with a decoration hanging in front of it.“

“I ordered through DoorDash, the food was still hot upon arrival. I ordered chicken wings with shrimp lo mein, the lo mein was very good and flavorful. I rate it 4 stars because the chicken was a little salty other than that everything was good I would definitely order again. My new Chinese restaurant before I was driving 15-20 minutes to the north side of town to get food.“

“The food here tastes great I had the Szechuan Beef Combination with White Rice and my wife The Spare Rib Combination with Chicken Fried Rice. Both dishes were prepared quickly with less than a 15 minute wait. We’ve eaten here multiple times and I’ve never had a bad experience.“

“First time here. The staff at the front counter and the owner were both very nice. They patiently recommended some dishes for us and even gave us a rewards card. The beef was really good and very fresh. We’ll definitely come back again. The prices are also a great value compared to other places around here! 😊“

“I’ve been going to Golden China for years now, it’s always been my favorite Chinese in Greensboro. The people there are always nice and get my food to me quickly. You might have noticed I gave it only 3 stars for atmosphere, this is because it does not present as a place that I would want to eat at or get food from. This however should not dissuade you from going, as this is the best Chinese food I’ve had for a decent price! One last thing, if you go get the steamed dumplings. They are heavenly!“
