“This place easily deserves a 5 star rating. Awesome service, tasty food, and great atmosphere. We had the crab dip as appetizer and the shrimp and grits and fish tacos for entrees. Everything was so yum. I was also surprised at how nice our server was. He was very accommodating and paid attention to the smallest details. Will definitely come back.“

“This was my 1st visit. I chose it for my birthday dinner. The restaurant was very busy and fully booked with reservations. I called as we were on our way. They had a table ready upon arrival. Our server was prompt, courteous and attentive. The menu was not extensive but a nice selection. The food was slow about coming out. I had the Tuna Salad which was delicious. It wasn't the presentation I was expecting but it was all there. My husband had the Sirloin Steak and Fries. He ordered his steak medium rare BUT it was served rare. He ate it anyway. I don't think the fries were hand cut as described though.OMG....the BLEU CHEESE dressing he got for his fries...AMAZING!!!! My mother in law had the Pork Chop, Greens and Mashed Potatoes. She enjoyed hers. We shared the dip trio and smoked bacon deviled eggs as our appetizers. We were not overly impressed with the dips and did not finish them. The eggs were good but were a little heavy with the vinegar. The complimentary mini brownie was delicious. I would come back just for some more Bleu Cheese dressing. Overall we enjoyed and were satisfied with our experience.“

“This is one of the BEST seafood restaurants in Greensboro!1. Not just because it’s black owned.2. Not just because the food is well seasoned and delicious.3. It’s also because the customer service is outstanding. The owner is a pastor. He is very kind and down to earth to his customers. His staff is always friendly at every location that I’ve been to. (There is currently two locations in Greensboro and one in Chapel Hill).So what sets this seafood restaurant apart from the rest in Greensboro? Well besides all of the reasons above, the location here at the Greensboro mall offers fried crab legs (you can get the clusters fried or get them fried without the shell). I bought them both ways. Pictured are the fried crab leg clusters, fried crab legs without the shell, fried asparagus, baked beans and shrimp Mac and cheese). YES I said SHRIMP MAC AND CHEESE!!The food is throughly seasoned!!! When I cracked opened my crab legs, the chunks of crab meat on the INSIDE tasted WONDERFULLY SEASONED. I need the secret. “Phenomenal experience and highly recommend! Been twice now and the food is great. The atmosphere is upscale and welcoming, and the service is good. So far I’ve had the crabcakes and the lobster and shrimp pasta- both dishes are very good! And the Blueberry lemon drop cocktail is great as well.

“MJ's hosted our 20 year class reunion. FANTASTIC experience from the first phone call til the last bite was eaten! Tad and his team were wonderful to work with and took excellent care of our party. Everything was delicious and I love that the kitchen and fryer are gluten free! Fried calamari was a fun treat I don't often get to enjoy. Thanks for making our evening special and for the tasty to go meals for family to enjoy later in the weekend!

“30 dollars for a glass of the Honig Cabernet Sauvignon is pretty outrageous considering you can get an entire bottle for that amount. The food is generally quite good. The menu is changed up regularly which of course can be good and bad. I always get the octopus when I go, but the current version with the zucchini spaghetti is not my favorite. They did a version a few years back that was fantastic and all versions since then have not lived up. The flat breads? Well, in my opinion they fall flat. Pretty uninspired. The charcuterie board is really good. And the service tends to be quite good. “

“Solid seafood place, the food is consistently good. Big portions, friendly staff, and an ok atmosphere. The only cons I have are the fries and soft drinks. Go for the tea or water, and pick a side other than fries (I might have just gotten a bad batch but the majority of my fries seemed over cooked) overalll the seafood was great and that's what this place is about!“

“Completely surprised by the depth of flavor in this Ramen Bowl. Plain diner atmosphere but nice quick service. We will order again soon, probably for take out next time. Glad we took a chance on it. The BBQ in the name may have stopped us from trying it sooner.

“This is by far one of best places I’ve visited in a while. The atmosphere when you first enter has a very upscale feel. The service was great they were so so friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing I don’t think I’ve finished my so fast since the military. The BBQ sandwich was cook to perfection. Even though it was lunch the cook/owner still offered to cook us breakfast. I could go on and on but I want you to please come give café 13 a try for yourself. I know I’ll be back and very often might I add.“

“I ordered the beef lo mein, and as the store name implies, it "taste good".
I called in my order and arrived about 10 mins after, I was quoted an oddly specific time of 7 mins. However, when I arrived I waited about 10 more mins for the food. That being said, it was fresh so I'm not complaining.
The lobby isn't what you would call inviting or necessarily clean. The menu is old printed paper with typos but they also have the classic menu at the counter. See attached pics.
They do try to distract you from the 90 health rating with a decoration hanging in front of it.“

“I had door dashed my order....nice flavor and good portions especially with the shrimp. Usually in a combination plate get 4 to 5 shrimps and i received 6 to 8. I ordered the hibachi steak, shrimp, and chicken. Shrimp was slightly over cooked but still good, chicken and steak was just fine. Steak was med-well as requested. Also order the hibachi salmon with shrimp added. Again shrimp was a tad bit over cooked and salmon was too, but again it was still good. Just get the correct seafood cook times. Will order from here again...“
