“My new favorite place is Mezcal Mexican restaurant. The Poblano chili is a very authentic dip in batter and the cheese with the tomato sauce is delicious. The rice and beans add some depth to the dish. The salsa verde and rojo are excellent condiments. Can’t wait to try a margarita next time. I tried a Mexican shrimp taco, best one I have ever had.“

“Been here a couple times and it's become a favorite breakfast place of mine. It's always busy when I come in but the food is always so so good and comes out pretty fast. You can tell everything is homemade. The staff are also super nice and the tables and place are always very clean. Definitely recommend coming here!“

“First impression as you walk in, or look at images of the menu: AUTHENTIC! First impressions when you bite into your food: They nailed the first impression! I had the lingua, tripa, pez, and Pastor tacos. My family had the California burrito, chicken and beef tacos, and the Enchiladas Mexicanos with mole and salsa verde. We also added a side of guac and chips. Guac: thin mixed avocado and perfectly sized chunks mixed in with the tomato and seasonings. An absolute must! The 4 tacos I ate were succulent to say the least. The tripa was thin and crispy, but you could taste the rendered fat in them. It had the texture of perfectly cooked bacon. Al pastor is one of my favorites and this one did not disappoint. Then there was the pez taco that was just the right amount of crispy without being an iota overcooked. At last I ate the lingua taco. It melted in my mouth and I immediately wanted another. I don’t even like mole sauce, but I couldn’t stop eating the mole enchilada. Aces, hands down. The California burrito was phenomenal and had the perfect amount of each ingredient and a delectable amount of heat and sweet cream sauce. The chicken was obviously hand shredded and had equal amounts of larger chunks of meat and thin pulled pieces to soak up all the flavor in endless nooks and crannies. If you have not been here please do your palate a flavor and stop in. The value far exceeded the price of our meals and we plan on coming here every year when the World Ninja finals come to town.“

“2 Seated immediately in an overcrowded dining area, but took the order quick. 2 minutes flat the food was slapped in front of us. Had to ask for the salsa and chips. No napkins or hot sauces on the table was a real inconvenience to having the server run back and forth. Food was alright, but not of Mexican quality whatsoever. Throw some spices, peppers whatever in there vamanos, por favor.“

“The kimchi fried rice with steak was delicious and the portion sizes were outrageous. You can eat off of it for at least three meals. I've ordered from this place about 7 or 8 times over the years. They never disappoint.“

“I have had great Mexican food both times I have been to La Fiesta. Last time I had the fried chicken chimichanga. This time I had the taquitos. Both menu items were well prepared. Most restaurants cannot cook Taquitos very well. These tacoitos are very similar to ones I found in Central America.“

Food was excellent in both cases, prices were shockingly low for the quality and how much I liked everything.

Did tacos and a gordita this morning, did a cheese steak for lunch/dinner.

Generally, you might guess that a place that serves both tacos and burgers/subs might be good at one but not the other, not here, they're just good at doing everything, apparently.

Coming from California this place did not disappoint when it came to authentic Mexican food flavors. “My recent visit to La bamba was a mixed experience. While the service was excellent—attentive and friendly from start to finish—the food unfortunately fell short of expectations.

I ordered the steak tacos with a side of rice. The most significant issue was the complete lack of flavor. Both the meat and the rice tasted unseasoned, as if no salt or pepper had been used. The meal was simply bland and lacked any depth.

The salsa was equally disappointing. It seemed to consist of nothing more than blended tomato and onion, missing the key spices and herbs that give salsa its vibrant flavor. It was just as bland as the main dish.

Ultimately, while the great service was a positive note, the quality of the food was a dealbreaker for me. Based on this experience, I don't see myself returning in the future.“

“Food is always great, which is why I’m still leaving 5 stars. However, I was surprised to see I was charged $3.90 just for extra cilantro and onions — at that point, I could’ve almost bought another taco.

There was also a previous time I was called back because I was accidentally only charged for one order of steak tacos instead of two.

Overall, the food is consistently good, but I’ll definitely avoid adding extras or paying over the phone in the future.“

“Real and authentic. The carnitas tacos were about as authentic and flavorful as you could ask for. If you want fake Mexican food, go to Taco Bell. If you want the real deal that you would expect from authentic food, truck or restaurant in Mexico, come here.“

“Walked in to place a togo order. The staff was attentive. Asked me if I wanted the lunch or dinner ACP portion. Thought that was very nice. Placed my order and it didn’t take long at all. As you can see by the photos it was a lot of food and it didn’t disappoint.“
