“El Puente is our family's favorite Mexican restaurant, we are first and second generation Latino's, grandparents originally from Guanajuato. The Authenticity of the food is great for lots of things on the menu my favorite being the carnitas or carnitas street tacos. I've always found the rice here to also be my favorite and I love the quesadillas! Other great things on the menu is the cheese dip, horchata and Xango (pronounced chango). We love the wait staff and the owner, they are always so friendly and quick with service even on busy nights. Special recognition to Sandra our favorite waitress.“

“My second time here. The food was wonderful. We drive here from walnut cove because the restaurant there is always crowded with no place to park. But here even when they're busy they always have ample parking and plenty of tables available to cut down on wait time. They have been well staffed each time we've been and never waited long for service. The street tacos are delicious and the red sauce that comes with them is very spicy and delicious. We were quick in, quick out. No complaints and great food. I can't ask for more.“
