“After a long day on the road as a family of six, we stopped by El Puente at 9 PM, grateful to find a place still open in Madison, NC. Despite the late hour, we were greeted with a warm smile, and the restaurant was spotless. The waiter was incredibly patient, even when our restless kids bombarded him with questions and had a few spills. His excellent service made our experience truly enjoyable. Now, the food—wow! By far the best Mexican cuisine we've had across North Carolina, and we've tried many places from the Outer Banks to Asheboro, Raleigh, and Greensboro. El Puente stands out as the top choice for delicious, authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend! We definitely will be back!”

“We had the fried catfish. Very mild flavor fish and meaty. Just the perfect amount of batter. Coleslaw and hush puppies were good too. Outstanding customer service, older female with 40+ years waitressing experience. Coffee and sweet tea were excellent. French fries were okay, we were more excited about the fish, coleslaw and hush puppies. Ranch dressing and tartar sauce were good too. To be honest, we have nothing negative to say about this place.”

“I called this vineyard 2 days before my wedding to ask if we could have a photo session at this location. Natalie was super nice and was able to squeeze us in. As soon as we got there, she offered us a complimentary glass of wine. She made sure the photographers knew the good spots in order to get the best possible pictures. Natalie was always by our side and was super supportive. Her warm personality really gives this place a sense of home. Me and my husband used to live in the area and would come here for wine tastings. Thank you Natalie for being a bright and fun addition to our special day. Every time me and my husband look at our pictures, we will always remember Stonefield Cellars Winery.”

“Last night we stopped in for our first visit. I feel bad saying that but we don't go out to eat very often. We had to leave directly after for a concert at my daughter's school. The staff was amazing. Smiling, interacting with customers, polite and fast service. I got a cheeseburger, fried pickles and my daughter had a hot dog and fries. We were in and out in less than an hour. fried pickles some of the best I've had. the waitress went to the kitchen and got a towel for my daughter to use so she didn't ruin her shirt before her concert. all things most restaurants really don't care about. Very personable. we will definitely be making more stops in. all the food was great.”

“Danielle is wonderful to work with. So accommodating and friendly. But the best part is her lovely great tasting cakes and cupcakes. She made them for my daughters wedding this weekend and people are asking who baked the cake and cupcakes. Only lots and lots of compliments. And they were all so beautiful. If you’re planning a wedding you have to try her cakes. You will love them. (And Danielle too)”

“Had a cheese pizza for the first time here. Excellent pizza! Definitely the best anywhere close to them. Only reason for the 4 stars was the cornmeal on the crust. Flavor, cheese, sauce, service and price was excellent! Other than the cornmeal the crust was good crispy and thin!”

“i have actually ate here 5 times this year. too much to say good about place, Huge delicious biscuits, light and fluffy, the tenderloin is huge and awesome, so is the pot roast, but the chicken in gravy is my favorite, but you cant go wrong. as for something bad, the floor isnt safe for elderly that have trouble walking, too many raised spots, unevenness, tape, or rugs to cover bad spots, but if you dont have trouble walking, you will fully enjoy the place, I cant recommend it enough!”
