“We had our wedding catered by Mi Pueblo from King. The sent out a bunch of servers and a manger out. Everyone was super nice and accommodating. We love eating here so we picked a good choice for our special day. Everyone loved all the food and non alcoholic drinks from here. We will continue to go here and would definitely recommend them to cater your functions!!“

“Can’t complain about this location at all. Quick service, faster than most fast food restaurants in the area! Employees I wouldn’t say are friendly- but not rude, either. Some are friendlier than others. Inside is always clean and well stocked in terms of sauces and napkins. Very rarely get an error on my order.“

“Met with Joel and Kayla today when visiting. Fantastic people. Kayla recommended the Quesabirria which did NOT disappoint. She also recommended a painkiller if I wanted a sweeter cocktail option - the best painkiller ever. Waters (horchata, Jamaica, Pina and tamarindo) are made in house and the freshness is evident. Give this place a try when you’re in the area: great eats, great people and great vibes!“

“I consider myself a connoisseur when it comes to authentic Mexican food.
I travel with my husband so I have eaten at many restaurants.
El Maguey Restaurant is by far the Best Mexican restaurant I have eaten at thus far.
The service was excellent. The owner came by 3 times just to make sure everything was good.
I live in Wake Forest, NC and to be honest, I cam see myself and a friend driving back here for a weekend girl trip and bringing her to eat at this restaurant. Pfafftown, you are so lucky to have this restaurant. I hope you support them and keep them around for a long long time. .
Also, the margaritas were excellent too. I had 2 top shelf and hubby had 2 beers.
We ordered fajitas for 2 with beef, chicken,shrimp. Queso dip. Portion was huge. We both ate plenty and still took half home.“

“Visiting from Texas, and this is THE best taqueria I've visited in NC or VA so far. Birria is some of the best I've ever had. Tacos were excellent, horchata is on point, portions are big. Good service, kind people, and everything tastes like I'm back home. Don't sleep on Los 2 Pollos!“

“Had the waiter from hell! 6/10 about 7:30/8pm. had the nerve to ask if I had ever eaten out before young curly haired guy with a diva attitude. The waiter mentioned he was having a bad day after the "Shelby came out of me"...I guess a bad day was what he was serving as well even if we just wanted shrimp tacos....I didn't get the tacos...I just got a bad day...then went to Burger King 👑 had it my way. I'll cook my own tacos tomorrow! Don't eat at Mi Pueblo on Stratford road. We couldn't even complain because the manager had to get translation from Lucifer....our waiter.... eat popcorn PBJ sandwich even if you're allergic to PBJ just don't go there.“
“Came by to check it out, as my niece recommended the place... I was not disappointed!!! The meat department has some of the freshest meats, and great for a "Carne Ranchera Day". We will continue to purchase from this location, and have referred several friends and family, when they feel like making some good and authentic Mexican meals.“

When you first get there , it’s a little sketchy entering trough a hotel , and the owner let us know it was only take out,, he didn’t hesitate to serve us .. with the best service . It was delicious. Probably the best birria ramen I’ve ever tried. I highly recommend. My family was completely satisfied .“
