“Seriously this is the most authentic tacos I have ever had in this area. The tortillas are so good. Taste nothing like the ones you get at your local Mexican restaurant. and Everything taste so fresh. I had the Chorizo and Chicken tacos with a side of rice. Wow it was so good I had to come back latter that afternoon to get another order for dinner.“
“This is the best and most authentic Mexican dishes I've ever had. The drinks are phenomenal and the Tequila selection is out of this world !Wheelchair accessibility: It's a pretty large restaurant with great spacing between the seats .“
“We stopped in today, and had a great time! Bonnie was our waitress, and she was tremendous! She made you feel right at home and made sure we always had what we needed! I had the steak chimichanga lunch meal, and it was delicious! It was a mini one, but it came with rice and beans, so plenty of food. They have very good horchata too! Muy bueno!!“
“Always prompt friendly serviceAways order bean burrito fresco and they get it right with a smileGrateful this location is open early for breakfast(TB at 255 Summit Point Ln, Winston-Salem, NC 27105 is awfulMangr Charla gets the order wrong every time and on purpose at 25518 out of 20 orders is wrong)“
“We had Jose who was very attentive to our needs. Speedy service and very nice staff. Food was great.Kid-friendliness: Provide coloring page with menus and crayons to keep my daughter busy. Also brought her drink in a to go cup without asking.“
“I've heard decent things about this place and finally had a chance to try it. I brought my family here for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were sat quickly and waited on by Sonia. She was super friendly and always stopping by to check on us. I ordered the Fajitas El Aguacate, which is basically, the mac-daddy. It has steak, chicken, pork, chorizo, and shrimp with peppers and onions. On the side it had the typical salad, avocado, beans, rice, and tortillas. The fajitas were very good. The beans were bland and weirdly runny. Not great. The rice was average at best. They did have a red and green hot sauce and both of those were good. The red was best. Neither was spicy. My wife had the quesabirria, a fried beef quesadilla (looks like a taco) with consome. These were pretty good, but adding some of the hot sauce punched it up a notch. The kids had ACP burrito and a shrimp quesadilla. Both were pretty good. No complaints. Overall, the food was not as good as I had heard, but it still rates up there with other Mexican restaurants in the area. A bit Americanized, but still decent. The inside wasn't super traditional, which is a nice change. Everything seemed clean and well kept. They had college football on the TVs and a decent list of drinks. I'd come back, mostly to try the tacos.“
“Recently moved to the area and decided to check it out I was very skeptical at first due to the service and poor quality of in mount airy and the Dobson areas. The servers in pilot mountain are very attentive, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was great and very “
“Stopped in for dinner for a quick bite based off other online reviews, glad we did.Essentially this is a dive restaurant with a fair sized menu of great Hispanic food. The atmosphere is good, has some inside seating to sit and eat but I noticed lots of to go orders. Staff was super nice and conscious to check on you even though this is not a table side service restaurant other than bringing your food.Food was great, authentic and portion sizes were fair to good. Prices were a bit on the higher side, but the food was worth it. Their bottled sodas my wife and daughter enjoyed, similar to what they had in Barcelona this past summer.Highly recommend checking this place out, definitely a top 2 for a taqueria restaurant in the Greensboro/Winston Salem area.Parking: Parking is very limited, only has space for about 6 cars.“
“This is our favorite place to celebrate! The food is excellent! The drinks are excellent! And they have good French fries for my extra picky eaters.Vegetarian options: They allow substitutions of meat in any of their dishes. As well as a vegetarian section in their menu.Dietary restrictions: There are plenty of options available for heart healthy, low sodium or gluten-free dining.Parking: Strip mall parking lot with plenty of room.Kid-friendliness: They have traditional Mexican dishes and American favorites like chicken fingers, fries and personal pizza.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no raised floors Ave plenty of room to navigate.“
“Ever go to a restraunt and it is great then you go back and find out it was a fluke and is now disappointing? Well Frank's is not that place. I to date have yet to order anything that was not fantastic. My wife's crepes were so good she wouldn't even let me try them. Guess I have to go back and order them myself. Great people and great food. If you haven't given them a try you are missing out.“
“Endless chips makes me happy.Vegetarian options: There’s enough I guessParking: Parking spaces are usually adequate.Kid-friendliness: There’s a kids menu, and you can get the staff to sing Spanish happy birthday sometimes.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs here“
“The food was absolutely fantastic. I had quesabirria (lamb in a grilled taco shell with a delicious dipping broth). They accommodated my request for extra vegetables and added peppers, mushrooms, yellow squash, sides of cactus, delicious beans and guacamole salad. Very good homemade salsa and fresh corn chips. Very friendly, polite staff. Restaurant is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. Will be back soon.Dietary restrictions: They are very nice about cooking to order.“
“I like Mexican food. Always have, always will. The more authentic the better. This place is Americanized, but not as much as some. I suppose it's inevitable.I ordered Texas fajitas, which are steak, chicken, and shrimp with grilled peppers and onions. It was really good, and piping hot when it came out.The fajita also came with rice, frijoles, a little lettuce, tomato, and guacamole, and two tortillas. My friend had fish tacos and he said they were decent. They have a couple of standard salsas on the table. A Salsa verde, which is nice and chunky and mild. The other is a dense red, a bit hotter, but still not very hot. Good stuff. Our server was Pablo, and he spoke English really well and was super nice and always around. The inside of the restaurant is about what you'd expect if you've been to almost any one of its competitors. Nothing wrong with that.Overall, this is a good place and I'd come back.“
“Playa Azul delivers a fantastic dining experience! Delicious food, a charming atmosphere, and exceptional service make it a must-visit. The waiter's expertise added to the enjoyment, especially with the fantastic Birria Tacos. Just watch out for the fiery red sauce; the green is a winner! The ACP with shrimp is also highly recommended.“
“The food delicious! ASAP you should come back! Mexicanos will love the Best taco place in history!!!!! Especially the nachos!Kid-friendliness: Sòooooooo kid friendly! 1 child and he wanted to come back so bad. He even hugged one of the waiters!“
“Second time stopping here. First time I had carne asada tacos, which were very good. Today, I tried the chicken flautas. Nice and crispy! Very generous portions and the food is very fresh. Friendly and welcoming. I'll be going back again soon.“
“Came by to check it out, as my niece recommended the place... I was not disappointed!!! The meat department has some of the freshest meats, and great for a "Carne Ranchera Day". We will continue to purchase from this location, and have referred several friends and family, when they feel like making some good and authentic Mexican meals.“
“I work locally in the area and always went to the "other" Mexican restaurant. A co-worker and myself wanted to try something different and found this spot. The first thing I noticed was how clean the restaurant and store are. We ordered several different options to try and were extremely impressed with all of them! I highly recommend the sopas and obviously the tacos. The chorizo is great! Needless to say, this is now our new spot for Mexican food!“
“I found this place a little over a year ago & they never disappoint. They have an AMAZING friendly staff, great prices, and delicious food!! As a Hispanic I can say this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. The only reason I gave the service 4 stars is because of the girl that attended us. She came by like 2 times to check on us & when we requested more salsa & napkins she never came with them. A very nice gentleman noticed we were missing something & brought the items to us quickly! Besides the girl, everyone else is amazing. My family & I love this place & we always have a great experience(:“
