Had a wonderful first time experience. The food was really good, the servers were attentive, informative, and very patient with me (lots of questions about the menu). Looking forward to going back and trying more of their options.
We love this place!! The food is always excellent. This visit I got the barria tacos and they were delicious. The fresh made guac is also a good choice for sharing. Atmosphere is great...the only issue was the sun shining right into half our tables eyes and no blinds to hide behind. Overall, we scooted around to where everyone was comfortable so it was no big deal.

I love the vibe and energy here at Friendly more than the other Rio Grande's. Eveyone is always so nice and kind. Francisco at the front knows my name and can guess what I am going to order before I even place it. KUDOS and 5 stars all around for everyone at the Downwind location!! THE BEST!
