“I visited this restaurant for the first time today, and let me just say—it did not disappoint! I’ve been craving red snapper and had been eyeing this spot for a while, always telling myself I’d stop in one day. Well, today I finally did, and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the red snapper meal with macaroni and cheese and pinto beans as my sides. When I tell you I almost bit my darn finger off… that’s how good the food was! Everything was seasoned perfectly, fresh, and full of flavor. That red snapper was divine—cooked just right and bursting with taste. I believe the young lady who helped me was named Kayla (at least that’s what my receipt), and she was absolutely lovely. She greeted me with a warm smile and was genuinely pleasant throughout my visit. The entire atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Funny enough, I joked with her and said, “I hope your food isn’t good,” because I knew if it was, I’d be coming back again and again. Well, guess what? I’m out of luck—because that food was so good! Big thanks to Kayla and the whole team. I’ll definitely be back!“

“The hostess was excellent last night. Greeted and seated on time! Our waiter Tom was excellent! Very attentive; presented options immediately, got our orders right, and came back often to see if we needed anything. Tom had great balance: not pushy, but also coming back often to check on us.

“Pretty solid stuff. I ordered the sirloin and it was basically perfect. Fried green tomatoes were perfect… and I’m not even a huge fan of tomatoes in the first place. Attentive staff, great drinks, and good atmosphere.

The only reason I’m taking off one star is due to whatever happened with a couple of our dishes that had scallops in them. I’m not sure if the scallops went bad or had some sort of food-grade additive on them, but the scallops tasted like rubbing alcohol. Not an exaggeration. When we mentioned this to our server, the managers were very attentive and took a sample of both scallop dishes to test them out, and offered a replacement of either the entire dish or more shrimp to replace the scallops. Never figured out what was wrong with them in the end but the rest of the dish was just fine. I’m not saying to avoid the scallops, as it was likely just a bad batch! It was a great show of care from the restaurant and I would recommend this place regardless.“

“I made a reservation for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was our first time coming here. The restaurant was small but nice and intimate. Our server was kinda odd but that’s mostly okay. The drink I wanted was out of certain ingredients but he helped me pick out a different cocktail to use with gin. The light above us flickered which was mildly annoying and the music was strange. Not so much of music as it was just a looped beat..

The food was honestly great though. Almost everyone at our party ate the ribeye and I got the Mac and cheese and loaded baked potato as my sides. Food was great but I would maybe do mashed potatoes next time just as a personal preference.“

“Really nice space outdoors on the patio. Also comfy inside space. Delicious food. A little slow if it's very busy and they don't take reservations, unfortunately. I ordered a yummy salad with sirloin - perfection. Friends ordered shrimp and fish tacos, Asian stir fry, Thai salad, burger and fries, pimento BLT.“

“We came to the restaurant today, Saturday November 8th. We aren’t from Winston, we are actually from Hickory NC and was in town for a party. I will be honest, we were first going to Texas Roadhouse and a last minute look online I found this place. Upon arrival, I was hesitant because there wasn’t many cars in the parking but I am so glad we went in. We got out of the car and they were playing 94.1 which is what we are listening to in the car. The waitress we had was awesome! She had only been there 6-7 weeks she said but she was amazing. The food was very good, especially the Spinach artichoke dip! 10/10 recommend this place! I am a firm believer in tipping and we made sure to give this waitress the tip she deserved. I wish I knew her name….“

“New menu everyday! We started with the fried green tomatoes (wouldn't recommend these they were pretty oily from the deep fry) and watermelon crab salad. Definitely recommend the watermelon salad! It was fresh, cool, crisp, and the house vinaigrette was lovely. For mains we had the filet and vegetarian entree which is new everyday! It was a delicious artichoke cake with pesto and fabulous leek risotto - wow, wow, wow. Compliments to the chef for making such a delicious vegetarian entree (rather than a plate of sides) and a new one each day 👏🏼 Ended with the chocolate crisp as recommended by our waitress which was warm and rich. We will return!“

“I took my son here for his birthday on a Thursday. We were the only ones there which was fine, the staff was very nice and our waitress was very attentive. The food was great! I had the shrimp and grits and it was sooo good! My son had the chicken and waffles, mac n cheese, and yams. He loved it all and they gave plenty of food. We will definitely be back and I would recommend everyone go try it!“

“We grow up eating Long John Silvers, however they closed the ones close to us. We drove an hour to eat at this one in Winston Salem. Soon as we walked in, we were nicely greeted by Ashley. She was very friendly and made sure we had everything we ordered and needed. The food was so good and tasted just like I remembered. We had the Chicken Plank Meals , they were hot and fresh.
