“Quaint little place serving coffee, craft beer, wine, and sweets. Comfortable atmosphere to just sit and sip with friends. Didn't try any food so could not rate cookies etc. but it looks good. Parking is mostly street with a couple of small lots close by with a space or two available to patrons. Love it's name too!“

“Warburg is going to be my new favorite place for food and desserts! Such a super cute little bakery and ice cream shop! The variety and quality of items they have was extraordinary! I had a hard time deciding so we asked what the most popular items were and the friendly employee said the strawberry cupcake was their top seller. We had a coupon for BOGO cupcake so the strawberry and chocolate lovers came home with us. We also took home a chocolate croissant because they looked so good in the case we couldn't resist! I wanted to get so many more things but we had just finished eating lunch and had no room in our stomachs for more. Since I plan to go back I'll be trying many more things in the future. When we got home, I took a taste of the strawberry cupcake. Wow! It has great flavor and texture but it was a bit too sweet for me. My sons liked it a lot though. I'm just not a huge cupcake fan. The chocolate croissant was simply amazing! It had the most chocolate in a croissant I've ever seen. The dough could have used a bit more time in the oven but you better believe I ate ever bite and left no crumbs. Recently, I went back and tried a couple of their gooey butter cake flavors. We got the Lemon and the chocolate chip. Both had good flavor but I would have preferred them room temp vs cold. I think the texture was a bit firm because they were cold and when I've made gooey butter cake at home, I never refrigerate it. No matter, there are so many more desserts to taste there. I'll slowly work my way through the offerings.“

Their Meridian Mexican Lager with Lime was also very good and shows the diversity of their offerings. The Industry Hill neighborhood is great and Radar is a true anchor there.“

“This is one of my favorite breweries in Winston-Salem. Everyone that works here is absolutely amazing but my favorite has to be Billy, she is super knowledgeable and always on top of everything. My favorite beers to drink here are definitely the Mocha blond and the vanilla coffee porter. It is also convently located close to everything in Winston-Salem.“

“Really great brewery with indoor and outdoor seating. Dogs are allowed inside the taproom, which I really appreciate since the winter is otherwise a hard time to visit breweries with pups. While their beers might not be the "best" in Winston, they offer a wide variety of beers and they are tasty! The bartender was great and you can order food from the restaurant next door, which makes it really easy to sit and chill for a while. We will definitely visit here again!“

“Winston is really stepping up lately with fun little pop ups and special dinners and I'm here for it! Last night I was able to snag tickets to an Italian Trattoria inspired event at The Caviste - Wine Shop inside Bobby Boy Bakeshop. A casual meal that was a mixture of serve yourself and table service. I love the opportunity to try bites of several different items so these kinds of dinners are always super fun in that sense and it allows the chef to be creative and have a little fun and I get to experience several dishes. And for those that aren't interested in committing to an event, The Caviste is a great spot to have glass of wine and some bar snacks/small plates when you don't feel like a big heavy meal(5:30-7pm only) Or just purchase some wine from their extensive wine selection.“

I judge a Mexican restaurant by their rice and beans and although those were delicious along with everything else. “Twice now, I've been invited by friends to Gatsby's Saturday nights for karaoke and each time I've had a blast both performing for the crowd of bar goers as well as encountering endless, encouraging individuals while doing so. The "dive-bar" doesn't take long to get jam-packed (if it isn't already upon arrival), so if its applause and/or interaction with others from various walks of life is what you seek then look no more because Gatsby's delivers and then some! From rowdy college students to the fully-grown and mature, this "hole-in-the-wall" attracts them ALL every single weekend (Fridays & Saturdays). From the well-seasoned singers & crooners to the silly, drunken socialites just up for laughs, the karaoke microphone within Gatsby's never disappoints amusement!! But don't take my word for it! Come on down to this downtown hot spot to enjoy cutting loose with an always embracing, diverse crowd without breaking your wallet. There's no admission, the drinks are always affordable, the staff remains cool and collected, and even the security remains social! The bartender on shift last night Carmon was amazing she's so friendly and definitely makes you feel at home.The cocktails never disappoint the micheladas are actually pretty good as well which i was not expecting at all!!! I can't say i know the name of this cocktail because carmon made it up and i forgot to ask the name lol. The vibe here is very laid back It's always a good time with good music yet the music is not supper loud to where you can't hear each other. I will say the only thing i dislike is the parking but lately almost everyone in downtown has the paybyphone parking! Over all i will definitely continue to keep coming back here for the rest of the season“

All the correct elements to make a great spot to revisit. We left to go to Bar Nola and were surprised that the bar brings food from the Porch! We got a sampler and enjoyed the spinach dip, wings everything was good. I'll definitely be back to the porch soon.“

“I ordered dinner from this little place on DoorDash one Sunday afternoon; I was drawn in with their low prices, wide variety of food options, and they have a low delivery fee. I ordered a cheeseburger, a chili dog with onions, and the spaghetti with meat sauce. I recommend this place for their prices, but here’s why you’re getting what you pay for: The Cheeseburger: when ordering your toppings, take their options VERY LITERALLY. I ordered my burger with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mayonnaise, and “melted cheddar cheese”. In my mind, I’m thinking “they must steam melt the cheese over the grill”, versus the “cheddar cheese” option which I assume is just that but I took it as “a cold slice of cheese placed on after the party comes off the grill.” The burger I had was left half eaten because this cheese-flavored product they put on was farrrrr too sweet for my palate. But at the end of the day, this was my mistake for ordering it. I won’t make that decision again. 4/10 The Hot Dog: pretty decent, nothing super special about it. The Frank was definitely all-beef, which I can appreciate. The onions, I think, could me minced instead of diced. 6/10 The Spaghetti w/Meat Sauce: for a restaurant, I’d say it’s poor. For a cafe attached to a Citgo? It’s decent! The noodles were a little chewy, I’m assuming they weren’t made fresh to order, and the sauce was hearty but could use a little more seasoning. Even a dash of oregano, basil, red pepper, cumin, and garlic powder would really enhance the overall depth of flavor to your sauce! 7/10 Overall, again, it’s not a bad deal for the price you pay. It was the cheapest DoorDash delivery I ever had, even after adding a tip. I would still recommend, if you want to order different options at once.“

As it is right now the prices for downtown food is expensive, and Foothills seems to be right in line with the premium pricing. “Stopped in for a drink and we were pleasantly surprised by everything this spot had to offer. Alejandro and Taylor have a warm welcome and offered us a table or bar seating. We went with the bar seating. Our amazing bar tender, Abby, made some great suggestions while we waited for our third guest. We had the wine flight, beer and brussel sprouts. They were all great!!! Based on that, we knew the full menu would be too. Whatever Abby suggests, go with it. Chef Michael Spencer did an outstanding job in the kitchen. We will be back. Enjoy!“
“Nice, but small in terms of a pool hall. Only 2 tables and gets crowded with only about 60ppl. Does have a nice basement club and the bartenders make good drinks. Only drawback is it don't take but a handful to make the place feel crowded.“
“After Greensboro lost Ice Scraperz, I had been in search of a good rolled ice cream spot, and lo-and-behold, Yolo Rollo takes the cake! Located in the Hanes Mall in Wiston Salem, Yolo Rollo serves bubble tea in novelty light bulb bottles and cute cat cups as well, but their rolled ice cream was exactly the treat I had missed so much from Ice Scraperz. The chocolate ice cream with cheesecake mixed in and chocolate drizzle on top was fantastic, and though the line was a little long, the service was fast and it was nice to be able to watch the ice cream be made in front of us. It is a little bit pricey (about $8 for a cup of rolled ice cream) but the ice cream is well worth the price if you ask me.“

My Daybreak Burrito - although kinda bland - really hit the spot (also, I did not come across even one tomato inside) and the casual vibe was a good fit - outdoor patio if you want, as well. Good portions, reasonable prices and a cool neighborhood for this location, too. If you need no frills but fresh no-nonsense grub, this seems like a good choice. Bloody Mary's and Mimosas served as well, so day drinkers can get their groove on.“
