“All four of our entrees - shrimp & grits (one of the best I've had), tomato pie, hamburger, pork roast - were delicious and filling. The service was outstanding, and the hostess was a pleasure to deal with. Dairy products are from the renowned Homeland Creamery. Highly recommended.“
“Their chicken wings are phenomenal!!! & Those in house mozzarella bites are chefs kiss! Never really had anything nasty from here, love their tator tots so crispy and seasoned and burgers are good as well! Fav thing is the sweet thai wings! Atmosphere is ok depending on the night, the waitresses are always nice!“
“Ate here with 6 other coworkers during lunch rush on a Friday and got our food in a timely manner considering how busy they were. Great food and will definitely be back our server was very attentive and kept our drinks full! I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with fries and an extra side of mac & cheese.“
“Everything was fantastic until I had to pay gave my Credit card the manger ran it back to back to back until it wouldn't do anything then took my bank card ran it took the payment but I received several emails instantly about my CC the manger screwed it up so bad I had to call the company so if you have this problem please take control and tell them give it time to accept the payment not keep running the card I had plenty of credit on that card but also had to let the card company know my bank paid for it because they were still trying to take that money as well otherwise everything was fantasticParking: No problem at allWheelchair accessibility: Yes they have a good one“
“This is such a hidden gem of a breakfast/lunch diner. The food is amazing and tastes like the best homemade, wholesome fare you could make.I highly recommend the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and sweet potato casserole that is dessert without being overly sweet. 10/10 love this place. Also it is cheaper than McDonald's down the road and they do takeout if you don't have time to sit down.“
“Stopped here for a small experience of Hawaiian cuisine. The food was really good. I ordered the Island Bowl w/Shrimp ($13), Pork Belly Bacon Cheese Fries ($14) and 8 piece Wings with Sweet & Spicy Gouchujang sauce ($14). Everything was delicious. The service was good and the cashier was patient and helpful. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The prices could be a little lower or the portions could match the prices. Six medium sized shrimp for $13 is a little over $2 per shrimp. The 8 Wings is $1.75 per wing...follow me? The items I tried cost $46. Overall I enjoyed the experience so I will visit again.“
“Hands down, our go to for a good filet mignon! The service, atmosphere, wine selection, and desserts are tops! We've always had a great and delicious experience at this place! From date night, family in town, graduation, retirement celebration, or just because, Bernardins is great!“
“Johnny B's recieves high scores all round during our maiden visit owing to its wonderful staff epitomized by Gina (our server), fantastic setting that is spick and span, coupled with fair prices for various homemade delicacies! It goes without saying then that each mouthful of the grilled cheese, lasagna and chicken pie left nothing but sweet memories. The pork tenderloin sandwich lacked the taste of an Indiana pork tenderloin. I'm still looking for a good one. Thanks largely to receptiveness of Gina, who ensured everything ran smoothly hence meriting average score of 4.5 stars we will be back!“
“I work in downtown WS, and I greatly enjoy eating at Courtside Cafe for lunch at least once a week. The food is consistently great with great taste. There's anything fancy about Courtside Cafe, but in an era where fads dominate dining, Courtside knows what it's good at (great food with great service) and focuses on delivering that experience every time. I've never had a bad experience, and I recommend that you go soon!Parking: There is no immediately available parking besides on-street. I walk, and I think 90% of customers do as well.“
“I always get southwest salad, which is the best, but this time, I got a hotdog with onion rings. The hot dog was OK, but the onion rings were too oily, and there was no taste at all. I could not eat them.I will stay with wraps, salad and hamburgers, and fries.the place is always packed and very clean.“
“I am not big on sport bars for dining experiences in general, but Bad Daddy's Burger Bar isn't your ordinary sports bar. The quality of the burgers is superior to a couple of burger joints that you'd find down the street. Also, the service is friendly and quick. If you are a burger fan, I highly recommend this place!“
“We wanted to try it out as a romantic date night option and was impressed with the decor, it has a hunting lodge vibe without feeling too heavy handed. The service was impeccable, with the wait staff being attentive and friendly even with a full restaurant. The menu has a great variety and a few wild game options you don't usually find at other places. The only drawback was the noise level. I've never been to a dining establishment where the prices were this high but the entire place sounded like a sports bar. I know that management can't really do anything about it but I was hoping on our second visit it would be better and no, it was still rowdy and loud. Maybe hiring a cellist or having someone play the piano will get people to quiet down haha. :p“
“This is a great place! No alcohol, no inside smoking and family friendly prices. I only wish that the pro shop was open during the hours of operation but my grandchild and I go on Sundays so I understand. I 100% recommend Northside Lanes to all my friends and family!“
“It was a trip down memory lane. The food is still excellent and staff were all pros. It has shifted to a more family feel inside versus the bohemian feel I remember from 2002ish. (also it was a Saturday night) I'm greaful they are still in business. I miss the eucalyptus tree out front. Try the reuben.“
“Typical down home diner. We sat at the counter for lunch. We were both stuffed when we left and had only spent $25 including sodas, tax and tip! Hot chips were incredible and his omelette was top notch!Dietary restrictions: They offer lower carb veggies in place of potatoes if you prefer.“
“I came here last week with some friends for the first time and we had a pretty good meal. I had actually stopped by once before a few months ago on a Wednesday when they have their dollar wing and $5 house wine special. I sat at the bar that time but nobody ever came over to help me so I ended up leaving. This second (first real) experience was much better. We were seated at a table and our waitress was nice and attentive. They have a large expansive menu and weekly specials as well. It was actually national margarita day, so we ended up getting a $5 marg special with our entrees. I went with the bacon and pimiento cheeseburger, added onion rings. My friends ordered the shrimp special and a build your own spud. The food came out pretty quick. I really enjoyed my burger; I thought the onion rings were okay - way too breaded; like 85% breading and maybe a couple actual onions overall. Pricewise, it's pretty standard, around$15 for an entree. Overall atmosphere of this place is pretty laid back and casual. It was really busy when we arrived around 7pm and had thinned out around 830 when we left. I'm giving this a generous 4 stars; i'd say it's more 3.5-3.75 stars but I would definitely come back to hopefully try the wing wednesday special sometime.“
“There’s no better fast food on Earth. The menu is more diverse than expected. The place is as clean as a good hospital, and the service is prompt, friendly and efficient. The hamburgers and hotdogs are outstanding and for something different the chicken pita is delicious. That is my opinion and my experience. Too bad I live in Virginia and don’t get here very often.“
“I worked at this place 25 years ago and I love still coming here. One of my friends still works her, and we catch up. Service is fantastic, the food is amazing, and coffee is never empty! My ritual place to eat when I visit Winston-Salem ? ❤️Wheelchair accessibility: Makes life so much easier.“
“Stopped in for a quick bite.. we’ve been on this Mediterranean kick, and they had good reviews and let me just say that the food was fresh and delish! We had gyros, taco on a pita and baklava. Service was friendly and fast and very clean establishment. It must be popular among the locals because the staff knew the customers and the customers knew each other also. I would definitely recommend them for a quick bite!“
“We have been 2x now. Food is good home cooking. Wait staff is very friendly. Service is very attentive. Ambience of welcoming and place is clean. My husband always loves the breakfast and my kids and I always get lunch so everyone is happy.“
“I went here with my daughter after checking out the new Kaleideum downtown location. I would definitely recommend this place for kids - they have a good children's menu that is well-priced (I think it was about $7 for a combo). I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was excellent.Definitely looks like a dive so will give atmosphere 4 stars (it personally doesn't bother me but others might find it grungy).“
“So today I had the opportunity to stop in at Taste of the triad Southern cuisine in Winston Salem n.c. I must say it was a very comforting experience. The staff was very friendly and made me feel as though I was in Grandma's house. The food was excellent I had the meatloaf and might I say it was a very nice helping with my sides being that of Mac and cheese, potato salad, and cabbage and collard greens. Everything was spot on. The price was reasonable for the quality of food and the service they provided. Thank you. ILL BE BACK ?“
“This place was right down the street from my hotel and I didn't even know it. I came in when they first opened at around 7am and to my surprise they were READY!!! My server was on point the food was so good and the bacon omg that bacon was so tasty and so flavorful. Everything was seasoned to perfection as well. I will definitely come back time and time again.“
“Had some amazing sliders. Also they have 3 options for fries. I ordered the hand cut and they were also amazing. The young lady at the counter was very informative (since it was our first visit). It didn't break the bank either!Absolutely enjoyed my experience there.“
“I love it when I have a story behind a restaurant. I was on my way back to Thomasville from Winston and kept thinking. I wish there was something else in this area as far as a restaurant. I was really in a burger mood. I know about Cagney's which is great .. I worked hard this morning and really didn't want to wait until I was all the way back to Thomasville to eat.So when I was in the direct epicenter of where, I wanted to find a place. I saw a strip mall kind of back and up to the left. I thought the odds are small of something being in this place. But I've never been up here, so I'm gonna look.Sure enough there was a Thunder Road bar and grill. I had my apprehensions since I am a non drinker. But I guess the bar part is just open on. The bar part is just open evenings? So I wondered in this sharp but slight Is little sandwich shop. I was impressed the minute that I walked in the door without cleaning it was. The waitress was very prompt, friendly. Courteous and glad to answer my questions. And in a reasonable amount of time, I was served a true chargrilled burger on a brioche bun. Really nice. And they were happy to give me a salad instead of french fries. And I was happy to find out that it was true homemade buttermilk ranch dressing. This was a really nice experience and a really good fast meal. Again, this is another one of those. I would love it if there was a 4.5.... I will be back. I really loved the taste of the burger. OH! My meal - salad and drink was less than ten dollars!!!!Kid-friendliness: Children were in the restaurant and they were treated nicely.“
“Located on a side street way off the beaten path, yet always busy with loyal customers. Their is an ample private parking lot. Booth and table seating that you pick yourself. Staff is very friendly, fast and efficient. They remind you of how waiters and waitresses use to be and you hardly see anymore. Food is fresh and served quickly. They stay on top of you and make sure you have a great experience. The place is warm and welcoming, it was recently updated . They have breakfast and lunch items available at all times. I love there 3 egg omelette choices. A variety of sides are available also. If your not feeling breakfast you can get a burger, fish, pasta or even a steak all at reasonable prices. Love this place and come every time I am in the area for doctors visits.“
“For how expensive the steak was, it wasn't flavorful it was chard and tasted burnt . Vegetables, on the other hand, wow, they know what they are doing they melted in my mouth. I scared them down like it was candy lots of flavor was seasoned perfectly. The waiter was amazing and accommodating. Unfortunately, they didn't have hinz 57, which tastes better than A1. A really great steak doesn't need steak sauces. Steak needs more flavor other than that would go again to try another dish.Vegetarian options: Vegetables were amazing, and I would recommend them without thinking twice.“
“The food and atmosphere were exceptional. Service was a bit lackluster. Wish we hadn't had to ask repeatedly for drinks, or wait so long for the check and check-out. The ribeye was fork tender and extraordinarily tasty. The shrimp & grits as good as any we've ever had. We'll go again and again.“
“First time visit on a friends recommendation and was not disappointed! My kind of place. Wings were cooked to perfection. Side of mozzarella sticks were fabulous. Great, personable staff. Defiantly a new favorite and will recommend for anyone in the area.“
“Our favorite restaurant in Winston-Salem by a long shot! Consistently excellent across the board with over 100 visits over the last 10 years. The chef Curtis is a mushroom forager so any dish with mushrooms is a must try. For a “fine dining” establishment it is remarkably unostentatious and laid back. Check out this little hidden gem of a restaurant today!“
“If you're looking for a place with valet parking and they put napkins on your lap, this isn't the place. However if you're looking for good food and a local pub like environment this place fits the bill perfectly.Enjoy their burgers and their menu changes daily.Recommend the place for a good meal and some of the regulars are interesting.“
“We had lunch on a Thursday, around 1:15pm. We were seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and courteous and answered questions about the menu.I was hoping for some Southern comfort foods (open faced roast beef sandwiches, chicken fried steak or chicken with gravy, squash casserole, sweet potato casserole) but we manage to find several delicious items to choose from.I had the "small" order (three!!) of pork chops and the broccoli casserole. Very tasty. My son had a burger and hush puppies and he said they were excellent. My other son had the fried catfish and WOW. I'll be going back for that. Three perfectly cooked, salt&pepper catfish filets, so fluffy they almost floated away. DELICIOUS ?AND, he got a side of fries, Greek style, with feta, dill, and lemon juice and a side of tza-tziki for dipping. It sounds crazy but it was crazy-good. TRY THEM!!I'd like to go back on a Friday/Saturday and try the prime rib, too. It's only available those days.Would definitely recommend the catfish, and maybe more. Good first impression.“
“We had an unexpected death in our family so I went to Golden Corral to see if we come grab a quick catering order for 50 people. The manager on duty, Mike was amazing! He was so compassionate and helpful! He walked me through the catering process, help me find items that I could serve a crowd, and served up hot chicken and sides in a matter of minutes for us! It was unbelievable how fast this took. Then Jeff took the time to help us pack it all in the car- even provided us a beverage while we waited. My family will forever be grateful for the kindness and quality of food we were provided so quickly. Hands down the best service I have EVER received!“
“The Old Fashioned Carolina Burger at Village Tavern at Reynolda Village is a revelation. The menu description doesn't even come close. Imagine a brioche bun – a symphony of soft and sturdy – cradling a juicy, perfectly cooked beef patty beef patty that explodes with savory goodness in every bite. But hold on folks, because here's where the real magic happens. The chili, slaw, dill pickles, and chopped onions join the party, creating a flavor symphony unlike any other. Each ingredient plays its part flawlessly, not overpowering but harmonizing in delicious perfectionThen come the sweet potato fries – the perfect opening or closing act. Lightly dusted with maple sugar, they're a sweet, crispy serenade that'll have you humming with delight. Pro-tip: Don't share. These fries deserve a standing ovation, all to yourself.“
“Sooooo good! I got the grilled pork chops with mashed potatoes and fried squash. The seasoning on the pork chops was perfect and they were super juicy. The mashed potatoes and fried squash tasted great as well. Environment was super clean, organized and comfortable. Service was also good, our waitress was very nice. Great comfort food, will be back for more :).“
“First time trying Culver’s after seeing lots of hype. Delicious!! Absolutely worth it not being super close by, burgers are S tier and you can’t go wrong with the cheese curds or crinkle cut fries. Concrete mixer shake was so good!! We will definitely be back, curbside pickup was friendly and quick.“
“Great atmosphere. Clean, plenty of room and seating options. The staff was real friendly.. the food was EXCELLENT!! I got 2 hot dog combo.. but replaced my beef franks with turkey franks. They give you a good amount of food. The bag of fries was plentiful. All food was hot, fresh, and served with a smile! Not only that the bathroom was super clean. Will return when I'm back in this area.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burger.Dietary restrictions: If you are not eating beef or pork they have turkey and veggie options.Parking: Pull up and park!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly place that not only has great food.. but plenty of ice cream options.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, this facility is ADA compliant.“
“Great place for drinks and food even it you aren't a WF student. Great food and outdoor space. Aimee is our favorite bartender!Vegetarian options: Most of the apps veggie friendlyDietary restrictions: Gluten free optionsKid-friendliness: Our kids love the food and playing cornhole.“
“*UPDATE* My dad and I went this past Thursday and it was awesome as usual. Thank you ?It was awesome from my point of view; however, if you have dietary restrictions such as low sodium, low sugar - maybe discuss your options with your server. Those ladies are great and can help guide you.“
“Been here a handful of times. It is my daughter's go to for brunch! It is a bit hidden off of Stratford Rd., if you don't know the area you wouldn't find it. The girls love it here because of the breakfast/lunch menu. Breakfast is until 4pm and they say it's always friendly. Happy girls, happy-mom life so this one of our go-to's. Recommend for the variety in Breakfast and Lunch options! Every item on the menu is delicious!“
“Found this place driving back home from the Kaleideum museum with my girls. It was such a great place to find on the way for some delicious food and an atmosphere. So happy we saw the interstate sign and immediately inquired. I had the duck breast which was delicious with the reduction. I was hoping for more than a few chopped pieces of bok choy in my rice, but overall I enjoy other’s creations and enjoyed my plate.Thank you for your offerings and ending our day perfectly as we made our way back to Asheville!Cheers! The bread and oil was FANTASTIC!“
“? Yall are sleeping on North Point Grill!!!!! ?Food was fresh, fast and FULL of flavor.I took one bite of my Smokehouse Burger and slapped the dash of my work truck so hard my Hubby jumped!!!This Burger really packs a punch, all that crispy bacon and gooey cheese...paired perfectly with their bbq sauce...the patty was not too thin or too thick. The toast was somehow soft AND crunchy!! Never have I ever had toast that I felt I needed to talk about in a review? but they have per-fected it!My hubby got the Greek Platter and he said the salad dressing was the show stopper for him.He was even curious if they would just sell him a bottle of it!!We have eaten here many times over the years and I've never had a bad meal, or had to wait longer than the 10 to 15 minutes it takes to cook your order. The gentleman behind the counter,( I believe may be the owner or manager because hes always there), was so professional and polite. It seems these days quality of service in alot of places has gone down hill, but not at North Point Grill!!!!He gave us our drinks while we waited on our to go order and insisted on refilling the drinks before we left. He really makes sure you know that you're his top priority!Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!!!“
“One of the best dining experiences ever. We arrived a little ahead of our reservation to experience the bar and have an adult beverage. It was well stocked with a number of mocktails as well as cocktails. We were the only ones in the bar at the time and had a pleasant chat with the bar tender who has been there since the bar opened. Learned a lot about the history of the gorgeous house as well as the restaurant. The restaurant is fairly large but it is well broken up so no section feels too big. We sat on the porch for dinner and it was charming. A great view of the patios which they apparently offer for large parties. Now for the dining experience.“
“This is a regular stop for me and my family when we commute to the western part of the state weekly. The staff is always very friendly, the food is always fast and comforting. You can tell the team there get's along well with each other and the atmosphere is upbeat and fun when we are there. Laughter is a wonderful thing to hear in the morning.Kid-friendliness: We have a special needs child with significant Autism. This one of the most comfortable places for him on our travels. The bathrooms unisex (single) and large enough for us to aid him for his bathroom needs.“
“Stopped in for the first time tonight and could not be more pleased. Our server, Alan, was super helpful navigating the menu and recommending some great options. Overall atmosphere was hip and clean. We can’t wait to come back in. Thank you all for everything!“
“Stopped in for a drink and we were pleasantly surprised by everything this spot had to offer. Alejandro and Taylor have a warm welcome and offered us a table or bar seating. We went with the bar seating. Our amazing bar tender, Abby, made some great suggestions while we waited for our third guest. We had the wine flight, beer and brussel sprouts. They were all great!!! Based on that, we knew the full menu would be too. Whatever Abby suggests, go with it. Chef Michael Spencer did an outstanding job in the kitchen. We will be back. Enjoy!“
“Foothills is a rather large staple in downtown WS and I have eaten (and drank) here many times over the years. As it is right now the prices for downtown food is expensive, and Foothills seems to be right in line with the premium pricing. The food is good, don’t get me wrong, but if you are looking for a local brewery with good food, good beer and good prices, you will only find 2/3 here. The fried pickles were greatThe hot chicken was really tasty and spicyMy kids loved the tenders“
“Local spot but don't let that detur you. This place has had me impressed since my first visit. Always good service and the kitchen does a amazing job daily. Somebody is doing something right here. I'm a former restaurant manager and I've never been disappointed. They continue to impress me every time. Also don't forget they have a brunch menu on Sunday. I would love to see them with a bigger restaurant but I love it the way it is. Great job Stoked staff I'm a huge fan!Kid-friendliness: Definitely family friendly.ive taken my kids and they love it also.“
“The chop BBQ with lexington sauce and slaw was the best I've had from LR i i think ever. My Hotdog all the way was perfect. The shrimp taco were pretty good but a little bland. Defiantly not bad at all.Only issue I have is the price. It's pretty high for the amount of food.Regardless I'm full and happy. I will be a return customer“
“Uncle Michael took us here and told us all about how amazing this place is and boy was he right. This was an all around fantastic experience. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meals to the last bite. The steaks were perfect, the salmon was fresh, the vegetables and appetizers were delicious. The service was great too.“
