“All the food is great. But I take the hour drive each way at least 2 times a week just for the jalapeño chicken salad with jalapeño ranch. A 2 hour drive for something should tell you how good it is. This is the best salad I have ever had. I have never been as full and satisfied with a salad as I am with this one.“
“It is an old school restaurant with great food. They have a menu with a lot of choices including a great breakfast selections. They also have a buffet line in which they serve you.On the buffet they offer 4 meat choices and eight or ten vegetable choices. I had Country style steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and greens. It was one of the best meals I have had this month.This is a great southern style restaurant with excellent Mediterranean choices also.Go and check it out!“

“Not from the area came to a model train show. Needed to find lunch so Googled restaurant and found Rosa's. Food is great. Had the bacon double cheeseburger and chips it was off the chain best Burger with handmade patties. Everyone one was friendly.“
“Saw this food truck in Statesville NC and stopped. This was such a good decision I made These are made fresh as you wait, so tasty!! They are light, crunchy, and fresh! At $3 each they are a bargain as they are large enough for 2-3 people to share, if kids I would say you could satisfy 4 with one!!“
“Really great atmosphere! This is one of my favorite places for lunch or dinner. I usually order wings with a side of fries and have a few drinks with my fiancé so we usually spend at least a hundred dollars or better each time. I always recommend this place. “First time eating here. Stopped in after my doctors appointment - parking was easy & plenty of places to chose from- handicapped parking ?️ available..Stopped AFTER LUNCH RUSH HOUR.. Wanted BBQ CHICKEN (they DO NOT SELL BBQ CHICKEN HERE)2 customers eating in dining room - dining room was clean. Bathroom was clean…2 Hotdogs with FF & Drink was currently the special for $8.99..my menu choice was a single hotdog ? “all the way” with a few diced onion .. was somewhat disappointed with amount of Chili & slaw (barely enough to say you have any…the mustard & onion were over loaded in triple abundance… falling off the hotdog ? buns all over my clothes. Definitely NOT what I was expecting…I’ll try this location again when I have time to dine in..Not a whole lot to offer for a review due to only ordering one item…As said already - I’ll go back (SOON HOPEFULLY)“
“After competing in a race at a nearby track we were trying to find a place to eat dinner that could accommodate our group as well as our race car hauler. Skippers has an enormous parking area and the staff were not at all intimidated by our large group. There was 11 of us and they walked us right in and to a table. The service was very attentive and friendly. Now for the food...we had onion rings, mozzarella sticks and hush puppies to start. All were very good and I have to say the hush puppies were some of the best anywhere. Moist and sweet and literally never-ending. When our entrees came out we were all blown away by the amount of food on each plate. Any one of them could have easily fed two people, and the food was fantastic. Being from a coastal city in VA I was impressed both by the quality as well as the quantity of food. Felt like a meal at grandma's house on the weekends from childhood. When we come back to race and other teams ask where's the best place to eat I will recommend Skippers!!!Parking: My race rig is 80ft long and pivots in the middle so turning is horrible, the parking lot is huge. Easy to get in and out in anything, from tractor trailers to RV's“
“My family and I had nothing but positive experiences here for our first visit. The inside is a bit shabby, but our food was delicious. The waitress was friendly and attentive and made sure we had refills. I got the Philly cheese steak omelet. It was very big and full of meat and cheese. The chopped sirloin and country fried steak was tender and piping hot. The mashed potatoes, pintos, and cabbage were flavorful and fresh. Can't forget the thick and crispy Texas toast! Good food and good service.“
