“What else can I say but this place is exceptional. Today, we went to celebrate my wife's birthday as it is a family favorite. This place was busy! Spencer is already one of the hardest working Managers in Greensboro, and he was out there with the rest of the staff making sure everything was moving along. Our server, Alex, was incredible and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was exceptional, from appetizer to dessert. We had the Parmesan Artichoke cheese dip, the honey-chili aioli fried chicken sandwich, hot dog (for the kiddo), and for dessert we had the Kahlua Espresso Cheesecake (coffee w/ Bailey's for Mom and Dad). We are somehow always more impressed with this place every visit and can't wait to get back!“

Today for the first time I was served a chopped hamburger on nachos and when I sent it back the "GM" was very rude and told me that I should have told them I didn't want a hamburger on my food because it's still "beef".. I am disgusted by the service I received today and before the restaurant responds I DARE you to look at those cameras and see who was in the wrong. This was simply another case of a white woman using her privilege to weaponize the police. Work on your customer service and de-escalation skills. Calling the police on a paying customer because they don't like your food as they are agreeing to leave is even more disgusting than the food was today. 0 stars if I could“

“I was really in the mood for a Bacon egg and cheese sandwich tonight. Its not on their menu, but since they have the ingredients on hand they accommodated me. It was satisfying, crunchy and delicious. Center Grove is our little local place that never fails to give us a great little meal on those nights when cooking is the last thing we want to do.“

The Granny panini with tomato soup of the day.
Sandwich was amazing, so yummy…..but the tomato soup tasted just like spaghetti sauce.

Nachos with chicken substituted instead of pork was average.

A nice addition to the nachos would have been mango salsa, tomatoes, lettuce, and sour cream.

This is a military friendly restaurant giving one military meal discount of 10%.

Total for both meals was $30

Extremely attentive, personable, multi tasks well, clean appearance, and kept the bar space clean.

I watched him make drinks that were picture perfect when served to the customers.

“What started as a $4.15 Happy Meal on a road trip the day after Christmas, proceeding to hungry and very angry parents late at night after several other restaurants ended up being closed or refusing to serve walk-in customers, ended with a $40 meal and the angel at the Jake’s Diner drive-thru. I don’t actually know what’s on the menu, and honestly, they probably could’ve served Lunchables and I’d have still given them a four star review. Thank you for being open late the night after Christmas, thank you to the nice girl at the window for simply wanted 3 chicken sandwiches and fries, one spicy, and making it happen. “We are in from the East Coast for our 14 year anniversary. The quality of food is amazing!! The cheese curds and the grilled shrimp were so good we stayed and ordered it twice since we didn't want to eat anything heavy on an early night. Highly reccomend. Checked to make sure we were happy with our food and asked if we needed anything else. Jesse, our cook, also came out to ask if we were pleased with the food. We were! It was cooked perfectly and arrived piping hot. Portions were huge. We had fish and chips and a beyond burger and split a salad. Everything was delicious.
