“The blackened salmon sandwich was great. It was seasoned well. However, my friend's food selection was sent back a couple of times. At first she said it was too cold & second time it tasted as if there was no seasoning on it at all. The waitress became angry and didn't want to take it to the cook. She indicated she'd eaten the same selection before & it was very good. The waitress should've returned it to the chef or had the chef come out to address the food selection.“

This was simply another case of a white woman using her privilege to weaponize the police. Work on your customer service and de-escalation skills. “What else can I say but this place is exceptional. Today, we went to celebrate my wife's birthday as it is a family favorite. This place was busy! Spencer is already one of the hardest working Managers in Greensboro, and he was out there with the rest of the staff making sure everything was moving along. Our server, Alex, was incredible and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was exceptional, from appetizer to dessert. We had the Parmesan Artichoke cheese dip, the honey-chili aioli fried chicken sandwich, hot dog (for the kiddo), and for dessert we had the Kahlua Espresso Cheesecake (coffee w/ Bailey's for Mom and Dad). We are somehow always more impressed with this place every visit and can't wait to get back!“

“I was really in the mood for a Bacon egg and cheese sandwich tonight. Its not on their menu, but since they have the ingredients on hand they accommodated me. It was satisfying, crunchy and delicious. Center Grove is our little local place that never fails to give us a great little meal on those nights when cooking is the last thing we want to do.“

“Ordered the Granny and the Godfather Panini Melt and it absolutely hit the spot! I’m pretty sure you can’t go wrong with any option here. The dipping sauces also paired well. Instead of the duck fat fries we got broccoli which was soft and topped with shredded cheese. Not bad at all. If you do get fries, from what I observed people got huge portion sizes. I would absolutely come back here to explore more of the menu. They also have daily specials and happy hour prices. The music was awesome too. Great feel. Great hits from back in the day. “I was in town for the NC Folk Festival and looking for a late night cheeseburger (it was National Cheeseburger Day so I had to). I lived in Greensboro years ago, but only ever had drinks at Stumbles. I try wings almost everywhere. I go, so I got a small order of wings, a smash burger and a side of fries. The prices were super reasonable, and even though the place was packed, service was great! At night there’s no table service so you order at the bar and they bring the food to your table. There were multiple bartenders as well as employees busing and cleaning tables. I opted for lemon pepper wings, which were perfect. The smash burger was as expected and the fries were hot and crisp. My mom and sister split a ravioli meatball sub with mac & cheese and our friend had chicken tenders. Everyone was happy. I made the right choice in stopping by for a late night meal and will definitely return.“

“Stopped in for a bitter and a beer during a volleyball tournament being held at nearby Grimsley High School. we were trying to decide what to order to eat, the bartender told us that they were known for their wings. We soon found out why. Great sauce and dry rubs, perfectly cooked wings, plus a tap list that was surprisingly well curated. Great little find on a Saturday afternoon.“

“What started as a $4.15 Happy Meal on a road trip the day after Christmas, proceeding to hungry and very angry parents late at night after several other restaurants ended up being closed or refusing to serve walk-in customers, ended with a $40 meal and the angel at the Jake’s Diner drive-thru. I don’t actually know what’s on the menu, and honestly, they probably could’ve served Lunchables and I’d have still given them a four star review. “Our waiter was rubbing some girls' hair and scalp for 3-4 minutes before coming to serve us. two of our party of 5 were there for lunch. the waiter did not wash his hands and we were disgusted. we did not say anything as I decided to make a written comment at home. He also did not write down our orders saying he had been doing this a long time and didn't need to write down the orders. My friend and I were not happy about him rubbing the friend's hair and scalp in front of customers. thank you“

For a hotel bar the atmosphere was great.
