“Best customer service in greensboro from the owners and Bartender's. Absolutely respectful overall.Kind clientele, sweet atmosphere. My soul feels safe and comfortable here.?The alcohol here does the job. Reasonable prices too. 5 ?⭐?⭐? 's‼️“
“Wife and I visited Karonda's for the first time in probably five years and were not disappointed. Despite the place being nearly empty, the staff was attentive and our waitress was wonderful. The food was much better than we remembered and we both left thoroughly happy with the experience. The interior could use some work to not feel so empty when there aren't a lot of folks there. At one point, we joked about how it felt like we were eating in the basement because there was nobody around.“
“Swung by last night while traveling through and had a blast. Food was good and at a honest and fair price point. The live music was great and the atmosphere was amazing. Great place to go solo where you don’t know anyone and can make friends fast or they were able to accommodate larger parties as well. If a local or if a traveling man like myself stop in and have a few. If ever back in Greensboro I’ll be there“
“Been going here for 10+ years and it gets better everytime. Their beer selection is phenomenal and their food is consistent and delicious! From a buffalo chicken wrap to the tacos, Philly cheese steak or their amazing BLT and sweet potato fries - don’t skip going here! Plus, their staff just straight up rocks! Highly recommend.“
“The best restaurant experience we've had in a LONG time. Jefferson went above and beyond to keep our two kids happy! We had the fish & chips, chipotle chicken club with brussel sprouts, the kids salmon & fries, and the kids alfredo pasta & salad. Everything was perfect!!Kid-friendliness: The kids meals had great choices and portion sizes. They brought the kids meals out as soon as they were ready (always appreciated) & our server even brought orange slices out for our youngest when his brothers salad came out. It was a great experience!“
“This was my first time here. I was part of a group of 18. I ordered 12 wings dry, with sauces on the side, a whole slab of ribs dry with sauce on the side, dirty rice, mac & cheese. The waitress bought me a 1/2 slab. When the manager came by to ask how was everything I told him great, but I ordered a whole slab. He apologized and was going to bring me another slab, but I told him it was ok, because I was still a little full from the 2 orders of pork skins and beer the 4 of us ordered earlier while we were waiting on the rest of the group. The ribs are really good, tender, and tasty. The mac & cheese was good. The wings were ok. The dirty rice was meh. The service was great. There is a mac's speed shop in Charlotte. I haven't gotten around to visit th we one in Charlotte. Now I have to visit soon to try the beef brisket and the beef brisket sub.“
“A hole in the wall great place! Visited this place for my birthday celebration and let me tell you it was a treat. Although the place is on the trashy side, it is certainly a fun place. The bar has pool, ping pong and other games as well. The best experience for me was the bartender. On my birthday the bartender was awesome! I wish I could remember his name but if you are reading this thank you! I had a lot of fun here and would like to go back another time to drink and play pool! This is just one of those places that you either like it or you don't.“
“As former residents of Greensboro, we came to Box Seat for nostalgic reasons when we were in town. We have yet to find a place similar in the Raleigh area. The best wings I’ve had in a long time and you can’t beat their hot chips. Our server was great - she figured out our family’s humor pretty quick and went right along with it - thank you! I’m so sorry I don’t remember her name but she had long reddish hair and said she had been there about 3 years. Service was prompt, food was correct and delicious. Thank you for a great experience - was just as good as it was 15 years ago!“
“We went for lunch and sat on the patio because we had our dogs with us, it’s a nice covered space. The food was delicious, the queso on the nachos is phenomenal. We shared Baja shrimp tacos and they were really good, everything tasted fresh. Our server was friendly and attentive, sometimes patio seating service can be slow at restaurants, but he did a great job. Our pups were welcomed and treated nicely, which we appreciated. We would definitely visit this place again the next time we’re in Greensboro, my husband is dying to try their Dirty South Nachos.Parking: We parked around the block at metered parking.“
“I'm not sure they serve food. However, they do allow outside food to be brought in. This location seems to be more of a billiards destination. Everyone was friendly that I had interactions with. The bar area is on the smaller side. The reason they didn't get 5 stars, it was rather dirty. Popcorn on the floor under the table next to us. I'm not sure how long it had been there. Didn't look like the floor had been swept or mopped in a long, long time. The beer prices were a little high. Was that because the band was playing or their normal prices? There was not a cover charge, so maybe it was because the band was playing. All in all, it was a good experience. If you're near there, check it out.“
“Here on business and was looking for a place to just relax and have a beer. Great place, Courtney at the bar is very friendly and already knows what I drink and made me feel at home. It's fun sitting back and watching all the pool players and some damn amazing shots. I'm not a big pool player but the tables look great and I guess they have frequent tournaments. The outdoor patio is nice as well with plenty of seating.“
