“I'm not normally a fan of chains like this, but the wait staff really make this place and the kitchen really great with what we ordered.Our waitress was very attentive to detail, was exceptionally nice to my 7 year old daughter, and made great recommendations.The chicken I ordered was juicy, my wife's steak was cooked exactly how she wanted it, and my daughter said she loved the chicken Sandwich she picked out. Couldn't ask for a better experience.“
“Went on a Labor Day Sunday, 2018. I searched all around Lexington to find a place that was open, and this was the only one I could locate. The staff (bartender Laurie, and the owner perhaps: older lady who greeted me as soon as I walked in) were ridiculously kind and hospitable, even ushering me to the "Buzzard's Nest" in the back for a free, fresh-grilled burger. I stayed for 3 drinks, and then stepped outside to watch the sun set behind a small thunderstorm to the west, which popped up, grew, and gently dissipated as the sun went down.“
“This is a great local watering hole to visit, especially if you visit here on a Tuesday night because pool is free. Make sure to arrive here before 730 or there will be no tables. They also have darts and cornhole. They don't serve food here anymore which is the only downfall, but try the spicy pork rinds with hot sauce on them. The Japanese restaurant next door will deliver to the bar.“
