“Was in North Carolina for a ball tournament and noticed this place when I stopped to get gas and decided to read the reviews and saw that it sounded pretty cool so stopped in for a bite to eat and a drink. Had the sweetest waitress, Lillie. She was very attentive and patient. She did a wonderful job in answering questions and food was awesome. Would highly recommend a stop in if you are looking for a laid back welcoming atmosphere and ask for Lillie to be your server! She is a gem!“
“The portions were large, and the food was hot and tasty.However, the real star of this restaurant was how good the staff (especially our waitress) were. She was on top of everything, frequently checked in to make sure were good, and just overall had a great demeaner and took pride in what she did.“

“I went on a Sunday for my birthday and it was niceee! I loved the atmosphere and the music. The drinks are definitely 10/10 and the catfish was my favorite!!! I had to place an order to go lol but the service was kind of slow but with the drinks, music and your person or friends you’ll be okay lol.“
“Our server had the nastiest attitude. We just wanted to grab a few drinks and ordered appetizers since the weather was nice we were not hungry but thirsty. She rushed us out while there were empty tables outside and my buddy asked for a beer and the waiter was like "aaaahhhumm okay"..lady if we were hampering the business we would have left, but there was empty chairs. Did not feel welcome there at all by her. Will give it another chance, but the server needs to work on her attitude. You are welcome for the tip by the way whoever you are. You did not deserve any tips but its okay. Just do a better job next time please.We were having a great time till you ruined it in the end. We would have got 3 more beers each between the three of us before we decided "guess she wants us out" .“
“Well above my expectations! I was actually on my way to another Brazilian steakhouse and then this popped up on my Marriott bonvoy app. The concept same kind of cool with a Brazilian style sports bar so I decided to check it out. The plate that I had was really good and they have 34 Oz size beers available. Very lively when I walked in as there was a band playing which I found surprising for that time of day as it was only about 5:00 p.m. they were towards the end of their set so they had to have gotten there earlier. Guy behind the bar did take care of me but seem to be preoccupied with other things going on. Wasn't a big deal but I did have to wait a little to pay my tab and order my food. It was worth the wait though and is somewhere I will be back again!“
“I went there with my husband before a checkers game. I play pool competitively and wanted to see what this establishment had to offer. Coin operated 7ft tables. I believe it was $1.50 per game. Met some regulars that were friendly. Tables looked decent. I ordered a Cobb salad. Wasn't what I thought it would be. It was ground chicken instead of a filet of chicken. It still was good just different from the norm. Service was good as it was roughly 430pm. I would like to see it when it's busy to have a more accurate review. I would still go back when I'm on that side of town.“
“I want to give 5 stars and will explain why I just can't. First I will start with the good stuff. We reserved our Bays and they were ready at time we reserved for. Our server was great and very patient with our large group. Food and drinks were great and we had a blast.Now here is my complaint. When we walked into the place it smelled like sewage. So bad that while we waited for our Bays at the bar it was all we could smell. Everywhere you walked inside it smelled so bad. It made my daughter so nauseous. Luckily it didn't smell like that outside in the fresh air.We have been here many times and it has never smelled like this. From what I was told from a worker it was the sewer system. Better get that fixed ASAP. ?“
“What a lucky find!! This pub is a great place to grab a meal, have a meeting, and enjoy the environment. The seating is spacious and the staff are very attentive. I had a plentiful meal for lunch and with all the selections, I’m sure I’ll be back to try other selections. There is indoor and outdoor seating and they are right in the heart of downtown Matthews so you can definitely make an afternoon of all that is close by. They have monthly specials so be sure to put this on your list!“
“Dang ngl it’s a pretty good place. I did lose a dollar in the claw machine… I just wanted a rubber ducky, I sacrificed my dollar but it’s death meant nothing, oh god… OH GOD WHY?!?! Why did I use it on a claw machine?! It probably wanted a life in an ATM machine but I screwed that up. What kind of friend am I?! I had the dollar in my wallet for like 6 months, we were basically childhood friends and I use it on a CLAW MACHINE! AHHHHH! God… why… anyway yeah pretty good place. ?“
“The food is spot-on! I love their wing night! The atmosphere is clean and inviting. The waitstaff is top-notch. Also, Tammy, the Director of Beverage is world class! She puts on incredible events, which makes it more of a "Cheers" community feel (a club you want to be a part of)!“
“Everyone welcome like family. I grew up in Charlotte. Spoons had the best burgers, The Penquin had great burgers too. Well, I had a cheeseburger last week at The Small Bar. It was absolutely the best burger I've ever had! Service was great. Bar selections were awesome. Front door parking.“

“There's some stuff on the menu that is great, some stuff not so much. Not a huge fan of their wings or pizza. On the other hand, they make excellent burgers and sandwiches. Service is impeccable and the bar is a throwback. Definitely worth visiting.“

“Saint Pat's day was a moment. To see all the staff celebrating the holiday was exciting. Our waitress was so helpful in helping us choose our meal. Her little self was so friendly. The bathroom was clean, and you don't see that often at other restaurants. Now I have to honestly say the Mamosa was just Orange juice. But we didn't complain due to the good service we had overall.“
“If you haven't been by LakeView lately you need to go this weekend! The dining room and food presentation has transformed. They still carry family friendly dishes but have also added several very creative and delicious options. The Dublin Steak is great and the pork belly sandwich does not disappoint. The wings are great and I recommend the Chesapeake rubbed wings. Last night we also tried the crab cakes which are also a great dish. We also tried the Fish and Chips - done really well , light and crispy and not oily. Service are good and they were cleaning and wearing masks and were very cautious to people safe. Five Stars“
“I love the Buffalo Chicken sandwich here, always seasoned to perfection and so juicy with a hint of spicy. Not overbearing or have you sweating from your meal. I added (pickles, bacon and permento cheese) to it. I can honestly say this been the best buffalo chicken sandwich IMO??? My fries were a bit salty and I’ll make sure to not have any?? The atmosphere is typical bar/grub spot, tucked in a nice little plaza area. If in the area check them out, nothing fancy shmancy? Good ol bar-ish grub, but a small town vibe to it!“
