Hawthorne's is a great establishment where you can order a pizza to go, sit and enjoy it or sit at the bar and enjoy a few drinks while watching a game or the news. The bartender that served me was friendly and enjoyed a good conversation.The ambiance at the bar is welcoming. Tonight they were very busy. The manager was so helpful. She was running everywhere to accomodate everyone. We came in after the Mint Hill parade and we had a party of 10. They took us and cleared tables for us so fast. I was surprised how quick we got service with that many people. My daughter was crying and the manager with the red hair cheered her right up and had her laughing. I almost wasn't going to eat because of my daughter screaming but she is a pro. 2nd time here because the first time was excellent. This time, however, was lacking. I ordered the calzone. The cheese was at one end, the frozen spinach, canned mushrooms and raw onions were at the other end. Not edible.
