“Charlotte isn't known for the best Chinese food. I will say this was a pleasant surprise. We did the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. The food was good, service was great! I would definitely recommend trying it!”
“Went with my daughter. I had an Old Fashioned and an arepa. Both were awesome!! Comfy ambiance with a great patio. My daughter had blonde ale and a canal and she raved and raved about the canal. I had a bite and it was fantastic. This is not your typical 'bar food'. Authentic!!!”
“All the staff here were very friendly and our server was very attentive. Loved the home town feel to the place. I didn't get food but I'm sure it's good so I gave 3 stars.”
“Nice spot in the middle of little Mint Hill. Outside seating has heat and fans as needed. Because of the proximity to the road it can be a little loud but if you know that going in, it's not really a problem. We always bring our pup so we have never sat inside but it does have a nice vibe. Service is always good and food is good as well. A large selection of wine so I feel certain that you will find something you like.....Unless you don't drink wine;-)”
“Friendly staff the double cheeseburger was fantastic of course with fries and onion rings. Definitely will be going back for one of the best burgers around Charlotte. It has become my Friday lunch spot.”
“I love the Buffalo Chicken sandwich here, always seasoned to perfection and so juicy with a hint of spicy. Not overbearing or have you sweating from your meal. I added (pickles, bacon and permento cheese) to it. I can honestly say this been the best buffalo chicken sandwich IMO??? My fries were a bit salty and I’ll make sure to not have any?? The atmosphere is typical bar/grub spot, tucked in a nice little plaza area. If in the area check them out, nothing fancy shmancy? Good ol bar-ish grub, but a small town vibe to it!”
“Great food and service.Vegetarian options: Thank you for offering vegetarian optionsParking: The restaurant is located within a shopping plaza so plenty of parking ?️”
“Dae Bak was incredible! We ordered jjajangmyeon and jeyuk bokkeum, and they were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The banchan were also excellent, and our kimchi was very fresh. We’ll be back!Parking: The parking lot serves a strip mall and a Planet Fitness, so there were no problems finding a space!”
“Was in North Carolina for a ball tournament and noticed this place when I stopped to get gas and decided to read the reviews and saw that it sounded pretty cool so stopped in for a bite to eat and a drink. Had the sweetest waitress, Lillie. She was very attentive and patient. She did a wonderful job in answering questions and food was awesome. Would highly recommend a stop in if you are looking for a laid back welcoming atmosphere and ask for Lillie to be your server! She is a gem!”
“I tried a few different things to get a feel for the flavors and ingredients. The food was fresh, made to order very quickly, portions were pretty good.I wish there were more cheese curds, and a few more onion rings, but both were good. I actually really liked the fried pickles, I wish they were little crisp but all in all they were good and of course highly recommending it fresh versus bringing it home for obvious reasons.Cheesesteak, buffalo chicken sandwich, A1 Burger were excellent cooked and made perfectly, all the ingredients really pulled together for great flavor. The ingredients on the sandwiches were very good from a portion perspective and quality. All in all not bad. We love the Sundae shop and five guys is a step up from this, but all in all no complaints!Never been before and glad I tried it. We highly recommend a visit - and the young lady at the cash register was just phenomenal. While waiting for the food, you could tell that she knew her regulars and they also adored her so that was cool! It’s one thing to have good food, but if you’ve got great service, and you make the time to build relationships to where they are regulars? That says a lot about the owners/staff and is often just as important (if not more so) than the food!”
“It was my first time eating from here I gained a lot of knowledge from Ryan and GiGi. They sale bread for 50cents a day old and they make their own ranch dressing. The dressing is amazing to dip your chips and or sandwich in. The bread is so amazing I like it better than any sandwich restaurant I’ve been to so far! The restrooms are clean and the store is so very well kept and the music was jammin! I got a Giant 16” and cut it into 3’s I usually eat my sandwich throughout the day! Did I mention they also have their own branded chips! Amaze balls right I know anywho go eat here!Parking: Very spacious parking area.”
“Food was phenomenal. Burger was perfectly cooked. Every sauce/topping was great. Design and ambiance were top notch for my taste. Adam was a great server. Will be back!”
“Finally gave this place a try, and glad we did! The place was SLAMMED but we got through the line in a reasonable time and the food was brought out quickly. The flounder was delicious and the coleslaw was the perfect pairing. Would definitely recommend, and will plan to be back!”
“Very decent food, very consistent quality. Store not really set up for dine-in, thus my low atmosphere score. I always get the house Lo Mein, quart size (L). It tastes even better cold the next day.”
“I adore this eclectic little gem in Mint Hill, NC! The Gluten Free Waffles with egg or chicken salads are my go-to for lunch! This place is also a hub for non-profits, being a non-profit organization that helps the community by providing a range of needs! There's a tiny food closet on the porch, which they try to keep full of allergy-friendly foods as well as toiletry items.”
