“Four of us went out for a special dinner last night that was a treat by my son and his girlfriend. My husband said it was the best shrimp and grits he ever tasted! All of the food was delicious and our waitress was on point and so fun and friendly. We sat on the patio and it was the perfect ambiance. I definitely would like to go again when visiting my son.”

“I’ve been buying small batch coffee since 2014 and Magnolia is one of the best companies I’ve ordered from. The coffees are always fresh, never burnt, and their shipping is stupid fast. They also donate to cancer research which is amazing.”

“Visited Matthews, NC few days ago and had lunch here. The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). Service was great, and washrooms were clean. The place has a really cool vibe to it, looks like one would feel at home there while watching sports on one of the many screens.”

“Wow wow wow!!! The food was amazing and the restaurant is so cute and I love the atmosphere!! We got the crab rangoons, pork soup dumplings, and shrimp and pork spicy wontons. Everything was absolutely amazing and I wish I lived here so I can eat here more often!!”

“My husband and I have been going to Marios/John’s place for over 30 years and have never had a bad meal. John has done an excellent job from his managers to wait staff and to the wonderful tasting food. I recently had a private party there and every person raved about the food and the hospitality of the restaurant. I cannot thank John enough for making everything perfect. You are definitely missing out if you don’t go there and have a wonderful dinner.”

Listening to 70s rock on the way always fits, and they play oldies in the restaurant too. Amazing staff, and again just the design of the place is great. Always come here in the evening and enjoy your time.

“My husband and I discovered Jets pizza recently. My coworkers told me about this amazing pizza I just had to try. Well let me tell you, jets four corners deep dish pizza is now our favorite pizza EVER!! We are a bit addicted to this place. The staff are always professional and polite. The store is clean and inviting. They are also honest, I left my purse there accidentally and the staff kept it safe till I arrived the next day to pick it up. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants the best pizza in Charlotte.”

“Love Thai Taste Matthews. Been going here for years. Always great service, clean, and amazing Thai food. The Thai iced tea is our family favorite. Can't go wrong with the daily lunch specials which come with soup and a spring roll, be aware that the lunch mmenu changes daily. You can still order from the regular menu. Cannot say enough good about this place. Hope you enjoy it as much as my family.”

“We have eaten carry out here for years and loved it. Today we tried to dine in. They were busy and understaffed. I had to ask for our soups and salads after waiting 30 min. The soup was cold. The brought us hot ones right away. 15 more min passes and no server or food. I asked another waitress to help us. She said the food would be right out. 20 minutes after that, we had just had it with no explanation or food. We left after an hour of waiting. We took our untouched food in to go boxes bc we didn't want to sit there any longer. People were getting seated and served way after us. No compensation was offered. Very disappointing.”

“I always pass this and never went in , tonight I stoped in and told the gentleman working which ones I’ve tried at other locations and asked what he would recommend … I asked what the tiger teas were and he said they were brown sugar based . I got the black tiger and OMG was this tasty and delicious! I like that they have a points system as well. I am not sure how it works or if they have an app but I am super excited to come back and try more !!! Very clean inside as well.”

“Down home cooking great variety, Southern Greek foods. Older restaurant with great food and great service. GREAT Service! We have visited several times and they always go over and above our expectations. We quickly noticed that although we may have an assigned table and waitress, the waitresses support one another. A family atmosphere like a friend invited you to "dad & mom's" house for a bite to eat, and mom and the family give it their all.”

“My husband took me out for my birthday today. I wanted a nice soup. We came across Lil’s Noodles Asian Kitchen. IMy husband and I ordered their braised beef soup with noodles… the spice was light… this soup was delicious and just what I needed. I ordered their Thai tea. The staff were friendly. “My husband and I have had the worst experience's while ordering from this location. We both feel very targeted and it's very obvious. There are flies always on the inside of the store on the different surfaces. The rating is a 97.0. The manager and another employee have been the main two making us feel like we are not welcomed in the store. They go so far as to talk about us very obviously when we're in the store. The customer service from those two is the worst I've had. I've been to other stores around the city and I've not had those problems. It's a shame that paying for items that are not inexpensive comes with uncleanliness, targeting, lack of customer service, and rudeness from employees including the manager. I can gladly spend my money somewhere I'm treated right since I go basically everyday.

Since the negative things that happened in the past in the past review, I have nothing but positivity about every aspect of this location. I'm there very often during the week, and I can honestly say that they go above and beyond to assist customer's needs, provide a clean welcoming atmosphere, and they make sure orders are correct. All while going above and beyond the call of duty. I look forward to going now, and I never leave without smiles and satisfaction. Special kudos to Beth, Lacey, and Zack and all the staff.”

“OMG! I have NEVER tasted Muscadine Juice like this! I ordered a carton of 12, I gave 2 away and happily and selfishly kept the other 10, plus the extra bottle given for picking up your order! The owner was a wonderful older man of God 🙌”

“In one way yes we really like the Product, my husband and I have been using the product for 8 years now. On the other had it’s VERY frustrating with our monthly subscription. It Never ships on a timely manner and we end up running out before our shipment even leaves the shipping dock. It makes , buisness travel VERY DIFFICULT when we don’t have our product. Sure wish we could get it figured out SOONER rather than LATER!!”

“This was such a great hometown pub experience. The beer was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive to our needs. The chef, who graduated from Johnson and Wales, created food that was truly outstanding and unlike any pub fare I've ever experienced. The gouda mac and cheese was out of this world! “I have always taken my mom to the Golden Corral in Mathews for Thanksgiving since my grandmother passed and this is the cleanest and best Golden Corral I’ve ever been in. The manager runs such a great crew on busy holidays and he overlooks the dining room constantly making sure everybody is happy with service. He communicates very good with everybody and will help out his crew with any service someone needs. Such a great manager during these holiday times and me and my mom really appreciate this guy and all of his crew”

“I usually go there with my son and husband. All three of us have very different taste. this is the only restaurant we no one has to compromise. We all get exactly what we like. Our son likes Sushi, my husband likes Chinese, I like American. We try to go early because it's cheaper and we get a senior discount as well. we help ourselves to the food so there is no wait time. A refill of your drink is done very quickly. The atmosphere is also very nice. No loud music and the waiters a friendly and polite.”

“While visiting Charlotte for a conference we were on a lunch break and stopped here to eat. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The interior of the restaurant was very festive but I did notice the features and the bathrooms were clearly a little worn. Overall, it was a very enjoyable atmosphere.
