“I haven’t actually stepped foot into the Magnolia Coffee Company location. But what I have found is you can have their amazing coffee mailed right to your door. Jay is a great guy and makes fantastic coffee. I found Magnolia Coffee during the COVID shutdown when he made a blend for Josh Daniel and his COVID sessions. Magnolia give a percentage of the sales from this coffee to help out local charities. Turns out this blend is now an award winning roast! They do make two blends or roasts. A dark roast which is my daily morning brew and a medium roast which scored a 92 in a coffee review. You can go wrong with any of the coffees here honestly. Go ahead and give The Josh Daniel Grateful Blends a try. You can thank me later. Also since your supporting a charity when you purchase you may be able to write it off on your taxes! I have no idea about that! But has me thinking! Check them out!!”

“My wife and I weren't prepared to be blown away by an amazing/quiet environment with great music when our date plans were ruined by a power outage at the movie theater. “The food is good, but gets cold very fast because no matter what it’s freezing in the Matthews location… Always! I’ve asked them to turn the air up and they always say it’s broken. We stopped coming for a while because our food gets cold almost instantly because of the temperature, if they could fix the air, I think they would do much better!”

I reached out about what happened and next was out of this world! They apologized and not only wanted to right their mistake but made a personal delivery to our home! My favorite is the Zorba or the chilled shrimp ceviche, but honestly you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My three-year-old loves the quesadillas. “My husband and I discovered Jets pizza recently. My coworkers told me about this amazing pizza I just had to try. Well let me tell you, jets four corners deep dish pizza is now our favorite pizza EVER!! We are a bit addicted to this place. The staff are always professional and polite. The store is clean and inviting. They are also honest, I left my purse there accidentally and the staff kept it safe till I arrived the next day to pick it up. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants the best pizza in Charlotte.”

The food is extremely authentic, flavory, exquisite. Service feels exactly as if you go to a bakery in Bogota and all the team members & even the owners make you feel at home.
I am not a fan of driving but since I know this restaurant I get way out of my errands to fit a trip to the bakery get me a coffee and try their amazing products. I have tried stuff that I don’t usually like and all is recommended. The portions are also very generous & congruent with the price. The only thing I do not like very much is that they have a shelf next to the cashier and they sell all kind of Colombian products from my childhood I love the exhibit but can’t fall for it because I could be developing a belly if don’t control what I eat there ?!!

“Eat there every time we are in the area. We always enjoy the home cooked food. Tonight my husband had the baked chicken with dressing, green beans and black eyed peas. I had the sausage with cabbage, mashed potatoes and black eyed peas. Both meals were delicious!!”

“Visited Matthews, NC few days ago and had lunch here. The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). Service was great, and washrooms were clean. The place has a really cool vibe to it, looks like one would feel at home there while watching sports on one of the many screens.”

“I've been going here regularly for 3 years now and I have brought so many people over who have also fallen in love with the place. I've had work lunches here, date nights, and just casual meals with friends.

The food is amazing and tastes fresh, it's a small and intimate atmosphere which makes for a nice cozy experience, and the owner is a wonderful woman who greets everyone with such happiness and respect. Her family is also wonderful and nice when you see them working there as well.

I truly believe this place is a hidden gem here in Charlotte and I consider this my favorite restaurant in the city.

And if you're curious my go-to order that never fails me is the Create Your Own Noodle Bowl, House Special, with Mai Fun Noodles, and a Fried Egg on top with a side of Edamame and an Iced Malaysian White Coffee. Sometimes I'll treat myself to the Steamed Custard Buns (so worth it) or switch it up for the Curry Chicken in Clay Pot if I want something spicy.”

“This might be the best ice cream I’ve ever had. No exaggeration. A little pricy but well worth it. You can tell they use proper dairy and real ingredients. Also, it’s not overly sweet so you can actually taste what’s in the ice cream. I had the cookie dough. Fantastic. Would recommend.”

“I had the pleasure of trying their fall season roll and it was delicious. Tempura with a spicy sauce you don't even need soy sauce with it fresh ingredients and explosive flavor 10/10 roll. I also had the chicken hibachi which was your standard express hibachi dish, it was good but nothing that stood out to me. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming all in all a very nice establishment I will be coming back. Disclaimer the photo attached is after I had already eaten half of the roll”

“Bonnie and her crew are simply amazing!! I had a catering order that, through a miscommunication, wasn't confirmed. The truck was delayed with the needed ingredients for my order, and I missed the call from her team letting me know. When I showed up, there was nothing prepared, and I needed food in 30 mins. We looked for alternatives when one of the cooks came from the back and said..." we can do it"....Lo and behold they did!! They prepared 60 plates in 30 mins!!! Meka and Michelle took the helm and made it happen as Bonnie was in the WNC mountains assisting with food relief.

I have done business with them for years and will continue to do so! They always go above and beyond! Simply impeccable and first rate!!”

So I agreed and got a simple pepperoni pizza and then drove 15 mins home. Only cost $11.99 plus tax for a 12" Pizza which is cheapest pizza I've ever purchased. Plenty of frozen yogurt flavors and more toppings than you could need for many visits.
The hot fudge and marshmallow topping really top things off.

“Came here for lunch on a busy Saturday, and got some of the best service i’ve received at any restaurant ever! We ordered Thai Tea which was the best i’ve ever had. We then ordered our food, three dishes, which were at our table literally 3 minutes after ordering, I couldn’t believe how fast they were! It was super delicious. The owner is the nicest lady ever, and she was very sweet and kind and made us feel right at home! I will definitely be coming back this was fantastic. Not to mention the portion sizes are perfect, and left me very satisfied, but not overly full. Highly recommend!

“I love El Valle. Family owned. Has been in Matthews for many years. My family and I have been eating here for probably 10 years. The service is excellent. They don't have much turnover in staff so they remember us. Now that our son has moved away, they always ask how he is doing. The food is always fresh and excellent. Our order is always correct. The prices are reasonable. My favorites are Chimmichanga, Polo Adobe, Polo Especial, Fajita. I love their salsa.”

“I have work several place hotel restaurants, and this place is not a fast food this is the 5⭐️ evrything is perfect food server atmosphere, very clean and hygiene. I ordered strawberry milk shake and nuget they gave me banana milk shake without I realize it they gave me a strawberry one and i can keep the banana, the host “Nina” very humble nice service she bring all our food and there is a guy working cleaning the table sweeping the floor and make sure every guest is satisfied, if i can put 2 candidates for employe of the
Month they are deserve
