“Li’s is an awesome restaurant close to Matthews. A couple years ago, they were only taking to-go orders, but they are back open and the dining space is very cordial. The cashier lady/waitress is extremely friendly and the food comes out super quick! I highly recommend this spot!“
“Arguably the best Chinese food in Charlotte. I realize the competition isn’t great but this place reminds me of the Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area. They now offer dim sum during the day time hours. Service is good but, because if the crowds, wait times for food can be long. Ordering to go also runs long so pad that time into your expectations.“

“The food was really good the one time that I ate here.More importantly, to me, it appears to be a small family business.One of the things I noticed, was one of the gentleman that was working there came out while I came in to check on the food and was helping his son do some school work.I seen lots of smiles, and lots of love, and that shows up in the food unquestionably !I am not supporting this place because they’re a small businesses because of the natural energy in the place, reasonable prices, fast service, and really good food .I just really like the energy. “Food is always great here...ALWAYS. Staff is always friendly and the food comes out very quick. I know there's the running joke about Chinese take out always being 10 minutes but this place rarely misses the mark. I know I can call and order and immediately leave the house and drive there from idlewild and 485 and it'll be coming out ready when I get there. Portions are large also so never a shortage of food. Usually can have enough for lunch the next day.“
“First time customer and, wow, I will be back! Even though I ordered delivery, every single thing arrived still hot, perfectly fresh and crispy, and the flavors were phenomenal! The portions were large and food was well-priced. We’re eating leftovers 24 hours later and even the leftovers are incredible.We had: General Chen’s Chicken, egg and spring rolls, fried dumplings, and wontons. I would (and will) order every one of those items again!“

I have celiac disease so finding a Chinese restaraunt to accommodate is a challange, but Julie is on top if it and Chin customizes my weekly lunch , or twice weekly lunch! There is nowhere else that compares. I can't comment on the fried food because I don't eat anything fried, but my husband does and gives it all 5 stars, too. I've never been disappointed with my meal even after a solid 12 years regularly, and my husband started eating there regularly probably 12 years before that! We miss it terribly when we go out of town, even for just a few days! I almost forgot to mention that it is very clean, extremely clean compared to almost every other Chinese food place I've ever eaten in.“

“I was looking for a Chinese buffet and tried Asian Buffet & Grill because of the reviews. First, this place is pretty big. The decor is usual, but it could use some repairing / maintenance. Second, the waitress did a good job checking if I needed anything. Third, the food was pretty good. There are many choices, from hibachi to sushi to soups and the buffet with numerous choices. The crablegs were medium to large in size and very good. The price is reasonable for all the choices offered. I would recommend Asian Buffet & Grill.“
“This restaurant is absolutely phenomenal! I’ve lived in Matthew’s ever since I was born and I never would’ve expected such a lovely, atmospheric restaurant to be this close to home as me and my family usually drive at least 30 minutes out for a good dining experience. I visited Sizzle for the very first time today after eating at an extremely lackluster sushi place in Charleston earlier this week and I was so delighted by the friendliness of the servers and kitchen staff at Sizzle. The Braised Tofu and Vegetables is a solid choice for vegetarians, it was so well marinated that I can honestly just eat the peppers and carrots (which, by the way, retained their crunch and flavor while still being completely cooked ?). My boyfriend and I shared a plate of their sesame balls fresh from the fryer, and no other sesame balls, in my opinion, can even hold a candle to what we were presented with! Our server was also absolutely amazing, she was very helpful and kept our water full! Sizzle should be called the Mitochondria, because it is the powerhouse of Matthew’s. I will be back soon with my father and brother to try another dish. Thank you Sizzle for this experience, I will be day dreaming about you :)“
