“We went to Dressler’s tonight for my husband’s Birthday. We had never been but wanted to try it since we loved their old Dogwood concept. Michelle was our waitress and truly made the evening so special. She was so knowledgeable around the menu and so attentive and fun. The food was exceptional. I had the waygu flank special and he had the 16oz ribeye. The shrimp appetizer was a great way to start and the apple crisp was a perfect ending to the meal. We were so excited to see the manager from the old Dogwood concept working there. She is so great too. Thank you for having such an amazing space that can make nights so memorable.“

“I've eaten at Cajun Queen in the past and had gumbo, étouffée, and fried shrimp, all of which I remember being very good. So I was looking forward to trying something different this time and decided on the Shrimp Diane. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. First—the canned mushrooms! 😩 I'm sorry, but canned mushrooms in an entrée like this were an immediate turnoff for me. There were plenty of them, and that unmistakable canned texture and taste really came through. The shrimp were also very small, bland, and appeared to be frozen. The entire dish just lacked the flavor and seasoning I expected, especially based on the food I've enjoyed here in the past. I literally ate no more than two spoonfuls before I was done. What also surprised me was that no one asked why I had barely touched my meal. When the server saw essentially an entire entrée remaining, I was simply asked if I wanted to take it home. There was never a follow-up question such as, “Was everything okay?” I would have appreciated that. Now, I do have to give credit where it's due! My date ordered the Shrimp & Grits, and his meal was excellent. It was a generous portion, flavorful, and the shrimp were nicely seasoned. He thoroughly enjoyed it—and after tasting his, I certainly knew which entrée I should have ordered! 😂 So my experience wasn't a total miss. The Shrimp & Grits were a winner, and I've enjoyed Cajun Queen's food on previous visits. But the Shrimp Diane? I would definitely not order it again. Fresh mushrooms, better-quality shrimp, and more seasoning could have made a world of difference.“

“I've been coming to this place for years and have always had a good expeirence. Taco tuesday is our favorite day and they have a large variety of taco proteins to choose from. They also give you a bag of chips and salsa to go, which no other mexican restaurant does. Staff is very friendly, but it can get packed due to the small location.“
