“We had a group business dinner there and enjoyed it. The only hiccup was two of us ordered the same thing--I received one piece of fish on my plate and the other person got two. I had to ask them to make it right (brought me another piece of fish) versus them offering to do so, which was off putting for this caliber of restaurant. I've been here a few times and would still go back. Nice vibe and atmosphere with great service. Oyster Rockefeller wasn't the best I've had but good. Sole fish was delicious.“

“My favorite steakhouse. It has a 1950's/60s decor and menu, but it's genuine, not just a recreation. The place has been in continuous operation at the same location since 1960-something. The food and service are excellent, and considering the quality of both, the prices are reasonable. Morton's, Del Frisco's, Ruth's Chris are all good, but Beef 'n Bottle is even better.“

Peoffesional and communicative. They open qr 7 am to unload. We had a 7 am appointment and came early. They took about 45 minutes to clean the dock and within a few minutes unloaded the few pallets we had.

“I've been coming to Mr 3s since it was in gastonia but I've only been to this location twice. They only do walk ins. So if you are trying to call in an order you'll be wasting your time. Beside that the service and food has always been good. I love getting the cash only deals. They have the deals Wednesday thru Saturday. The deals are worth the money. They also have there homemade drinks. In my opinion the blue raspberry lemonade is the best.“

But I kept changing it because of all the weather delays and settled on a 9:30pm reservation. We were even late for that by about 10mins. “We went to Dressler’s tonight for my husband’s Birthday. We had never been but wanted to try it since we loved their old Dogwood concept. Michelle was our waitress and truly made the evening so special. She was so knowledgeable around the menu and so attentive and fun. The food was exceptional. I had the waygu flank special and he had the 16oz ribeye. The shrimp appetizer was a great way to start and the apple crisp was a perfect ending to the meal. We were so excited to see the manager from the old Dogwood concept working there. She is so great too. Thank you for having such an amazing space that can make nights so memorable.“

“Went to NC Tavern mainly because my friend wanted to try the seafood bowl. She said it was good, but for $34, it felt like it should’ve come with more—especially since items like sausage, potatoes, and eggs had to be added on separately.
I ordered shrimp and a salad. The shrimp was good, but they didn’t have the right sauce to really take it up a notch. The salad was just okay—nothing special, and I ended up taking most of it home. I also tried an Arnold Palmer with tea and strawberry lemonade, but it was way too sweet, so I sent it back.
We did get a couple of drinks, and they were decent—nothing amazing, but not bad either.
Now, where they really shine is the service. Our waitress was on point—attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time.
The atmosphere is definitely more of a party vibe. It’s loud, especially on a Friday night, so if you’re looking to have a real conversation, this probably isn’t the spot. Music started off with house (not my thing), but once the DJ switched, the vibe improved a lot.
Overall, I’d give it an 8/10. Good experience, but a few things could definitely be tightened up.“

My wife ordered the chicken dianne which she enjoyed.I ordered the pork tenderloin which had fried plantains, pineapple salsa, and a chipotle black bean sauce that was just the perfect combination of flavors. “We recently celebrated my sister’s birthday at MICO at the Grand Bohemian in Charlotte, part of the Kessler Collection, and I wanted to share a full-circle experience.

Our initial visit did not go as expected. A lack of clear communication around payment policies created an uncomfortable and stressful situation at the end of what should have been a celebratory evening. It unfortunately took away from the moment and left a lasting impression.

However, what happened next is what truly matters.

After sharing feedback, the leadership team—especially Christina, Director of Restaurants & Bars—took the time to listen, acknowledge the experience, and thoughtfully make it right. Her responsiveness and intentional coordination were evident throughout the process, and it reflected the level of care expected from the Kessler brand.

We returned this past evening, and the difference was undeniable.

From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.

Our server, Mirtha, was warm, attentive, and genuinely engaging—she made us feel like more than guests. Patrick, the manager, was present and intentional, checking in with sincerity and ensuring everything flowed seamlessly. The birthday acknowledgment, attention to detail, and overall hospitality completely shifted the experience.

Most importantly, my sister felt celebrated—and that meant everything to me.

I had the Surf & Turf and the Lobster was overcooked. Another party had a Hamburger and was not satisfied with the quality & taste. The manager came over and took care of everything very professionally for which we very much appreciated his involvement. For that reason, we will come back to Firebirds in Stonecrest again.“
