They have only posted amazing picture and said great things about this place and I can confirm they’re on point with what they say. He had great knowledge of the menu and that also had a lot to do with staff training from the leadership, plus he has been in the hospitality industry for years. Now the food…the Tuna crudo was OUT OF THIS WORLD! It was our favorite dish…other than the raw oysters. Those were fabulous too. The fries weren’t our thing, but they were bad. The mushroom toast was quite tasty. The cocktail was perfect…I had a Last Word. My husband loved the wine, and what was so great was the serving choices. You could choose a 3 ounce or a 6 ounce pour, and that’s a great option when aren’t sure exactly what wine will go with a certain dish. I highly recommend dining here!“

This deal is for dine-in only!I ordered the spicy tuna crunch, mermaid, and spider rolls.The spicy tuna crunch roll was meh and nothing special. Just a typical spicy tuna roll with tempura crumbs on top.The mermaid roll was spectacular and super tasty. I loved the tempura batter on the outside which gave it a nice crunch and all the ingredients inside paired really well together. 10/10 sushi roll.The spider roll was not like any spider rolls I have had in my lifetime. I really like the salmon on top of the spider roll. Overall, a really yummy and tasty roll. Also, a 10/10 and would 1000% recommend!.The ambiance was really nice and service was incredible. Although, I did not order a drink, the drink menu looked really good!They have other locations in other cities like Raleigh, NC, so go on their website and see if there is a O-ku near you! “This was quite the experience. We had an AMAZING evening out. My partner and I came here for our 4th anniversary (I mentioned it in the reservation) and the staff made sure we felt welcomed and celebrated. They congratulated us as soon as we walked through the door, complimented my dress, and the server took it from there. Kori was absolutely incredible ❤️ she was beaming. She was informative about the menu, patient/polite, and very high spirited. They even gave us dessert on the house!! I'm dining here every time I come into town. We could tell the ingredients were fresh by the taste and perfect seasoning. I had the slow roasted chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken itself was juicy and flavorful, and the smashed potatoes were a perfect complement. My wife ordered the crabcakes, and they were loaded with succulent crabmeat. My party loved the herbaceous sauce on the fresh oyster selection. They had 2 ocean, 3 bay, and 3 river oysters. We tried the sea ones initially before switching to chargrilled. Bubba chucks were awesome... light and fluffy. The stewed greens tasted great although a lil' too much sauce. The field pea slaw was like regular slaw. Jimmy sauce was tasty! “This is the 3rd Firebirds restaurant I've been to in the Charlotte area (Rea Road location) and it's at least as nice as the other two (Huntersville and South Charlotte). Our waitress (Adrienne) was fantastic. She was very personable and knowledgeable regarding the menu and food options. It was my 16th wedding anniversary, so she went out of her way to make that known to the staff. A couple of them came out and congratulated us and they even gave us a complimentary dessert (see photo). And our dinner was as great as we expected it to be. Definitely a location we'll be back to.“
