“Visiting Charlotte from New Hampshire, but had scouted out this place before we came. Interestingly enough, it appeared on the list of recommended places from our Airbnb hosts as well. We are very into the farm to table movement, big time Farmers market shoppers ourselves as well. The staff was very friendly, and more importantly, knowledgeable about the menu. Everything was excellent. They were very helpful in accommodating a honey allergy, even whipping up an alternative dressing for the salad we ordered. For the record, the kale salad we had was beyond exceptional. I am not exaggerating when I say that is was the best salad I have eaten in my 65 years! Recommended unconditionally. A must-stop for our next trip to Charlotte.“

“We had an awesome experience at Chex Grill & Wings after visiting Beat The Bomb for my daughter’s birthday celebration! I had a group of five 10-year-olds (plus a few others), and the staff was incredibly patient as the kids figured out what they wanted to order. They even let us sample the chicken wings before choosing—huge win! The wings were delicious—especially the Strawberry Hot flavor, which is now officially my favorite! While we were enjoying our food, a man came in and sat down nearby—we thought he was just another customer, but it turns out he was the owner! He was so kind and invited my daughter (the birthday girl) and her friend to take on the 60-second wing challenge for a chance to win $50. My daughter won, and when the owner asked if she wanted to give her $50 to her friend, she said yes—and then he surprised her by giving her $100! Such a kind and thoughtful gesture. To top it all off, the staff sang Happy Birthday to my daughter and brought her a slice of cake. 🥹❤️ The avocado side salad was also super fresh and tasty. The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly, and the service was fast. Highly recommend—this place made our celebration so special!“

“Man… this place is hands down probably the best dining experience I’ve ever had in charlotte. The atmosphere, service, plating, menu etc are all very very impressive. The MOST impressive was Tommy and his extensive knowledge in wines and sparkling wines.. he took our table on an incredible journey pairing delicious wines and trivia with the exquisite dishes that Will and the boys prepared. I personally had the bison bolognese with handmade pasta and he brought an insanely awesome Cab out to pair it with- Dude was cruising around casually in a t-shirt absolutely OWNING his craft. Not only was my pállete entertained but we also learned a shit-ton about the wine and its origins. For the first time in 10+ years I didn’t feel like I was caught up in a get-in/get-out high dollar dining scheme- rather, it was an amazing immersive experience. If I thought I could pay double just to experience last night over again I would make multiple reservations to do so. The current menu and staff as well as management is absolutely crushing and impressing. I don’t see how this place doesn’t have a solid 5 star rating. Keep it up please! I will be back very soon.“

“I really enjoyed this combination of hookah lounge, sports bar, and tapas place. Very cool vibe, with great play list at just the right volume, great service and a yummy and diverse menu. My craft cocktail was so good, I got two! The wine selection is limited, so don't go for that, but what they do there, they do very well! The ventilation was excellent, so hookah users to interfere with others, the TV's are well placed and the decor is elevated but not stuffy. Will go back!“

The Buffalo wings were perfectly crispy with that classic, legit sauce flavor that so many places miss. The barbecue wings were just as good…smoky, saucy, and not overly sweet. It's one of the few fast food restaurants that's run by competent management. Seriously, every other fast food restaurant in this area (Huntersville, NC) has terrible service after 6:00 PM. Out of chocolate Frosties, cookies and Sprite at Wendy's, for example.

“On Friday 8/23, we came to The Crunkleton on a recommendation for my daughter’s birthday and we were NOT disappointed! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere and the staff were wonderful! We had Cole as our server and regardless of how busy it was that night, he made us feel like we were his only priority. He was very knowledgeable about your massive spirit selections and I mean massive! The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. We got the Really Good Burger and let me tell you, we said medium and it was on point! It was very well seasoned which is rare when you go out to restaurants. Then to top off the night, my daughter got the beignets with the cold brew icing, WOW! I am a sweets person and these with that icing just WOW! Cole even put a candle on the rim of the dish because it was her birthday! So, you have our business any time we are in Charlotte! I just can’t say enough about our experience!!! You have a great place, amazing food, a wonderful spirits collection, and definitely not last or least a fantastic server in Cole!! I’m a creature of habit so I always order the chicken filet sandwich fried with french fries and of course a separate order of the famous onion rings! These o-rings are the ONLY ones I eat!! “Definitely a special occasion spot. Their wine collection is exceptional, which is to be expected. I initially ordered a Bordeaux that I did not care for and we were able to order another bottle with no issues. My only complaint is we asked to keep the price comparable and they sent a $20 more expensive bottle. I ordered the filet and it was cooked perfectly. We were there for a birthday and they sent a complimentary champagne flute for all 9 of us in our party. Amazing. I like the interior of this location more than the others. But no exterior compares to the Dilworth location.“

“Chuck’s Grill, I came for breakfast… and almost needed a nap afterward! 😄 The food was absolutely delicious, the biscuit was soft and buttery, the bacon was cooked just right, and the egg sandwich hit the spot. The potatoes were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and disappeared faster than my willpower.

This was my first visit, but it definitely won’t be my last. Great food, friendly service, and prices that don’t make your wallet cry.
