The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). I had a large order and couldn't decide on what flavors. he brought out his recommendation and that's what I picked and it was very good and he also gave me fries and a lemonade that was really good. if I was so far away in Florida I would be going every weekend to eat. “Love this place. Great atmosphere, menu, drinks and most of all great staff. I stopped in last week to pick up gift cards for the holiday and they were having an issue with the system. The manger explained the situation and offered alternatives. I chose to come back this week to purchase the cards and the manager remembered me and thanked me for returning as did the bartender. If you’ve never been, give it a try. I can almost guarantee you’ll return too.“

“The young man who took our order was very nice!! Prices are a little high but nothing crazy. The quality is great!! The food was ready quickly and was very hot and fresh.

WARNING: go down a level (or two) in spiciness! I got the mild and it was almost too much. I like spicy! My hubby who likes very spice got the medium and it was almost too much for him.

The wimpy wasn’t hot but had a distinct flavor my 6 year old didn’t care for. I’d recommend unflavored for kids!

“I honestly can't believe that I am a Charlotte native and this is my first time eating at this establishment. My parents and grandparents grew up eating here and they used to pile it up. In reference to the food, I had a cheeseburger with tomato, lettuce, ketchup and slaw with crinkled fries topped with Bar B Que sauce. In my opinion the food was very good. The only thing was that I wish that the hamburger itself had more flavor. Overall, I would definitely get it again. I didn't know that they serve breakfast, that's always a plus. “My all time favorite place! I have enjoyed South 21 for 35 years! I’m a creature of habit so I always order the chicken filet sandwich fried with french fries and of course a separate order of the famous onion rings! These o-rings are the ONLY ones I eat!!
