“I always go here with my wife and the people that work here are all so kind, specially the ones in the front. I’ve been to different restaurants and the food and service here is amazing! They keep this place always so clean. The guy has helped me decide what to get since my wife is very picky. And I appreciate what he does. And one of the workers up front even talks Spanish and I sometimes see her helping with people who struggles with their orders. But what I didn’t like is, how some customers are towards the workers and spreading lies on the reviews. When me and my wife have ate there a lot of times and not once have they been racist or involved religion like a review had said. But though people will continue spreading lies, I know me and my wife will continue coming here frequently!“

“Late Night/Early morning after the club sustenance!! We are not from the area and only came into Charlotte for an evening event. We did however pre research some local wings spots incase we were hungry after all the dancing. Chex happened to be only 5 minutes from where we were and with a good rating we chose to give them a try. We arrived 45 minutes before closing and boy were they busy!! (That’s a good thing) Phone orders were coming in non stop all the way up to closing and people were walking in every 3 minutes.My girl friend and I ordered a 20 count wings with lemon pepper (dry) and honey hot sauce. The wings were cooked perfectly nice crunch factor and the ranch was delicious. The honey hot was let’s call it lip puckering in the lip filler kind of way..lol but still a great taste and the dry lemon pepper was very overpowering with how much seasoning was on each wing. Overall the food was still enjoyed.“

“Wow. First off service was very southern and hospitable. The waitress made an effort to check in and give suggestions as it was out first time. She even went over the different sauces that were on the table! The food was great as well. Our appetizer was the chicarrons and they were still sizzlings, so extra pints on that. We got a meat bbq platter and the salmon meal. Both had their fare share of salt but I enjoyed the experience of North Carolina bbq. The aesthetic of the restaurant also makes this place memorable. You have the history in the building and nice spot in the center of town.“

To our delight, there was a DJ playing today! Our 2 servers were absolutely awesome. They were fast, friendly, and accommodating. Even with a large party, our food came out in a timely manner. I had the wings and the red velvet waffle. Delicious! Delightful! It was such a wonderful dining experience for this first-time visitor. Everything was done in excellence. Don't come if Alabama is playing football. They were slammed busy today at 5pm due to basketball and the service didn't suffer for it. “I don't normally pass through this area this establishment is located but when I found out its one of the few location open late night that isn't typical fast food I had to try it out and was not disappointed. I got the shrimp and wings combo and a gyro combo it all had so much flavor. They have a large variety of options including seafood, burgers, chicken and even pasta. I'll be coming back here again“

I got the 10 pc traditional, half hot and half FlipnGold (sooo good!), celery/carrots, fries, and breadsticks. Wings were cooked to perfection and perfect size, sauces on point and flavorful, breadsticks melt in your mouth and are soooo good ?, just as I remembered,..had enough ranch for my wings and celery/carrots, and even the fries were good. Chris the owner was so nice and personable, it was such a joy chatting with him.The experience and service is just as important as the food in my opinion. From my experience and view, hands down fav place for wings in Charlotte (they were voted best wings in Charlotte, well deserved!). They also have other sides and dishes like tteokbokki, but their chicken is definitely my favorite thing on the menu. The seating area is small and a lot of people place to-go orders. I'm vegan so I can't vouch for any meat dishes with curry or jerk, but the chickpea curry is quite tasty and is coconut milk based. You can order it spicy upon request which adds the best flavor in my opinion. I can eat the spinach patties all day. They are delicious. The cabbage and greens are okay. I've referred others to order at a conference in Charlotte and they loved the curry and Jerk chicken.I've only ordered via doordash, but I'm a frequent shopper. The only thing I dislike is that often I have to remove meat pieces from my rice which is annoying ? since I'm vegan but I am conscious of it when I order now. “Amazingly, this review is five stars, and I haven't even visited the restaurant yet., Usually I reserve the five star rating for an in-restaurant visit. But given the quality of the multiple DoorDash orders we've received from Mix, I am very comfortable giving them a top-notch rating. Even though it's already been said in previous reviews, let's just start with the wings. We have ordered several different varieties (all were really good( and we keep coming back to the lemon pepper which is probably one of the best versions I've had in the last year or so - and I eat a lot of wings. Even though they were delivered, probably 25 minutes after they came out of the fryer, we still found them to be very crispy and very flavorful. One of the worst things about ordering lemon pepper wings, especially take out, is getting a set of wings with virtually no seasoning on them. That was not the issue with these wings in the least!The other complement I need to give them is on their fryer game. You can make great wings, but then put out horrible fried sides, like fries, tater tot's, onion, rings, and okra. But not at Mix! Their fryer game is popping, literally! The onion rings are probably some of the best in the city, and again, this is delivery onion rings that typically would come out of the container soggy and wet. These were just like we like them, crispy, hot with just the right amount of grease. This is definitely one of our favorite spots to order from and hopefully we'll make it into the actual restaurant in person at some point in the future. “Queen City Cheesesteaks is located in the City Kitchen on Thrift Road. This is a Ghost Kitchen that does have some seating usually. Currently they are doing renovations so the seating is unavailable at the time I writing this review so it is just takeout. As someone who relocated here from the Philly area I will say these cheesesteaks are one of the best that Charlotte has to offer. The meat is chopped up into small pieces just how I personally like it. The major deficiency here in Charlotte in general when it comes to cheesesteaks is the bread that is used, other than that everything was perfect here at Queen City Cheesesteaks. The cheesesteaks are also hefty, so you get your money's worth, the prices are definitely fair. They don't just have cheesesteaks. Their top seller are their mambo wings and their assortment of egg rolls are delicious as well. This is a family owned business. The Owner is really nice and is assisted by his son and daughter. I will add this my places on my very short list of where to get cheesesteaks in Charlotte and will definitely be back.“
