“This is one of those places where the food is fantastic and the staff takes it over the top! I have dealt with the same gentleman ringing me up and expediting the food two times in a row and he has made the experience delightful both times. This time was a little different. He not only welcomed us back but he went above and beyond to make mine and my kids night. Thank you for helping this Dad shine while he was out with his kid. 6/5 Highly recommend.“

“I went to the Dunwoody, Georgia location at lunchtime today (11/17/25). I let the cashier know that it was my 1st time trying Super Chix and he comped my frozen custard with oreo pieces! That act of kindness had me in tears as I was emotional about the bad news I received about my husband's cancer earlier in the day. Thank you for adding sunshine to my day! I will be back!“

“I’ve come a couple times now and it is now my favorite chicken spot, hands down. The Bossy Bites are well seasoned, juicy, and flavorful. Combined with their homemade sauces, it’s an experience you’ll never forget. The Bossy Sauce and the Honey Dijon are too good to be true. The aesthetic inside is super cute, and the staff is very friendly. The only bad thing about this place is you will keep coming back for more! It is worth every cent, and is a must-try chicken experience if you are in town. Lovely service, lovely food, lovely atmosphere.“

“Fried Chicken is the best we’ve had since moving here 17 years ago, Mac& Cheese was creamy and delicious, Sweet Potato Tots dusted with Cinnamon and Sugar were yummy and the Jalapeño Cornbread was sweet and moist with just the right amount of peppers, service was good and our sweet tea was kept filled. Absolutely no complaints, highly recommend and look forward to our next visit!“

“This location is in the Whole Foods Plaza on Providence Rd. I ordered through the drive through, but our food was not ready when we got to the window, but our drinks were. We were instructed to park in a pick up spot with our hazard lights on and someone would bring out the food. We waited about 5 minutes. The food was good, but they only gave us 4 sauces for 3 orders of chicken minis, we had 10 count and 2 4 count. I asked for a frosted coffee but was g8ven an ice coffee. I went inside and they gave me the right drink. Prices were reasonable, considering the cost of everything is going up.“

“I've read good things about their fried chicken and found myself nearby tonight, so decided to give them a try. I ordered the fried half-chicken dinner. The chicken was excellent: crispy and well-seasoned. I added Texas Pete when I got it home. Perfect . The fries and slaw were about what you expect at a place like this, no better, no worse.
Several reviews find fault with customer service. I emphatically did not. The young lady who took my order was friendly, welcoming, and helpful.“

“The quality, service, and atmosphere are good. The flavor of the chicken is unique. I liked it when paired with the slaw and pickles but not on its own. I usually don’t like slaw but it works well on the sandwich. I ate mine with honey mustard 10/10. I’m not obsessed but it is pretty good.“

She was great! Was my first time being back at this location in a good while, being that I live out near the airport and don't be on that side of town much. But this is the best location! Food was hot, fresh, and was hellasmackin' like usual. I had been to another one before located on Glenwood but wasn't the same experience.“

Hay una chica en especial que es muy amable ya sea hables por teléfono o comas en el restaurante, ella es Evelyn siempre amable, atenta y sobre todo muy educada al atender y tomar pedido muy diferente a la de un joven q es muy grosero al atenderlo a uno y por teléfono. La comida es buena a mis amigos y ami nos gusta yo de hecho voy dos veces por semana . Lo que si recomiendo al manager o dueños es que revisen las sillas unas están en muy mal estado ya una amiga estuvo a punto de caer y esa silla sigue ahí es mejor prevenir accidentes q pueden pasar por ese descuido . En general la comida es buena el lugar está limpio y la atención excelente recomiendo Pollo Royal . Nota : Olvidé las pupusas si necesitan mejorar los ingredientes sean de queso o chicharrón. 😁👌“

“It's a small place at the truck stop with a walk up counter and some booths for seating. It's the only place I know of at this time that offers fried chicken livers (and gizzards). If you get there at busy times, like lunch, and get them fresh, they are SO good. I also love the chicken tenders. Portions are generous. I'll go out of my way to go here when I find one. I was very disappointed when the one at exit 52 near Lexington, SC was replaced with a pizza place, since I had to pass there on a semi regular basis. The only thing I would say to Chester's is be sure to keep those livers FRESH, because they dry out if they stay in the stream table too long!“

Parking: The restaurant is easily accessible from the gravel parking area, which is just outside of it.“
