“Every time I come in, it’s always a great experience. The service is exceptionally friendly and the food is always amazing. I’d recommend the bacon jalapeño and their Mac bowl which you can add anything to it! They even have this wine slushy thing that’s perfect for these hotter days. The girls behind the counter seemed like they were both just having a good time at work and making sure that the guests were taken care of as well.

Kid-friendliness: They have the lil cheesy. It’s a classic grilled cheese option and they even ask if you want to leave the herbs out the sandwich“

“I reached out to DTR in South Park for a birthday dinner for 13 last minute, anticipating that they likely would not be able to accommodate a group that big that close to the event. Not only did Rachel, their events coordinator, squeeze us onto their calendar for our preferred time, but she also was able to get us in a semi-private room, which was a wonderful surprise!

Everything about our experience there was fantastic - the cocktails were amazing, the food was incredible (everything was delicious, but the Brussels sprouts were insane!), the ambiance was so fun, and our server, Trent, went above and beyond.

“I have the pleasure of being the wedding photographer for an event held at Steak 48 last weekend. As a wedding professional with well over 200 weddings in my portfolio, I can tell you that Steak 48’s service and care for their clients/guests far surpassed the other restaurants I have done events at. The staff was not only patience and diligent with the guests, but that went out of their way to make vendors such as myself feel comfortable. The staff was introduced to me at the start of the event and continued to call me by name, ask if I needed water/snacks, and continuously made sure that I was ready to move forward before starting to serve the next course. I was incredibly impressed and am looking forward to more events and my own date nights at Steak 48.“

The food is rather unremarkable but the drinks and great service made up for it. Chelsey was a treat and made our experience special. It’s rare to find a server who makes Pumking the second most interesting thing at our table but she nailed it. Thank you, Chelsey, for making my wife and I very happy on our workout and beer day! It’s seldom that we have a server that is as witty, knowledgeable, and attentive as Chelsey and we’ll return because of it (and the Pumking too ?).“

“Man… this place is hands down probably the best dining experience I’ve ever had in charlotte. The atmosphere, service, plating, menu etc are all very very impressive. The MOST impressive was Tommy and his extensive knowledge in wines and sparkling wines.. he took our table on an incredible journey pairing delicious wines and trivia with the exquisite dishes that Will and the boys prepared. I personally had the bison bolognese with handmade pasta and he brought an insanely awesome Cab out to pair it with- Dude was cruising around casually in a t-shirt absolutely OWNING his craft. Not only was my pállete entertained but we also learned a shit-ton about the wine and its origins. For the first time in 10+ years I didn’t feel like I was caught up in a get-in/get-out high dollar dining scheme- rather, it was an amazing immersive experience. If I thought I could pay double just to experience last night over again I would make multiple reservations to do so. The current menu and staff as well as management is absolutely crushing and impressing. I don’t see how this place doesn’t have a solid 5 star rating. Keep it up please! I will be back very soon.“

“Visiting Charlotte from New Hampshire, but had scouted out this place before we came. Interestingly enough, it appeared on the list of recommended places from our Airbnb hosts as well. We are very into the farm to table movement, big time Farmers market shoppers ourselves as well. The staff was very friendly, and more importantly, knowledgeable about the menu. Everything was excellent. They were very helpful in accommodating a honey allergy, even whipping up an alternative dressing for the salad we ordered. For the record, the kale salad we had was beyond exceptional. I am not exaggerating when I say that is was the best salad I have eaten in my 65 years! Recommended unconditionally. A must-stop for our next trip to Charlotte.“

“Multilevel restaurant tucked in BOA! We sat near the open kitchen and it was great. You could see the items being made and the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. It's dimly lit, so it gives warm and cozy vibes. We I didn't know it was an a-la-cart menu till we got there. So check the full menu when before you go! There's not a huge California wine selection; it's more international with France/Italy/Argentina leading the way. I kept it simple with a smooth Rosé (Faísom) from France. We had the Potato Gnocchi with Braised Beef in a tomato sauce. Thie didn't need sides. It came as a whole meal unto itself. The Gnocchi were tender and not gummy, the meat robust as it was Sous vide. The herb marinated shrimp, Calabrian Chili Butter, was delectable. The pan-fried corn had a nice crisp bite, well seasoned and buttery. I didn't care gor the Brussels Sprouts. I was hoping they were good as it was they're halved/grilled and loaded with Bacon, Cashews, Provolone, and a Sherry Vinegar. They feel flat. They needed a sauce or drizzle of balsamic and seasoning. Now, the Mac-n-Cheese was hitting. They add goat milk, which elevated the flavor. It does provide a slight tang. I would have never thought to add that. There's a traditional cheese crust and absolutely no breadcrumbs ( Thanks). We rounded it off with the Spiced cheesecake with praline topping and fresh whipped cream. It was a delectable and delicious dinner with great service“

“Joanna was our server on this busy Sunday morning. She was great. Friendly fast and courteous.

Ambiance was great. Lots of conversations, people leaving church and people gearing up for football. Normal Sunday. Outside and inside decorated for fall…. Because it isn’t Thanksgiving yet so glad to see no holiday trees up yet.

Food was so very good. Well prepared. Full of flavor. Highly recommend.“

“It's not a bad place for a burger if you can get in. The parking is usually packed, but that should be a good sign. I went on a Thursday, the place was pretty empty and very clean. The staff kept busy cleaning and refilling everything. The burger was basic and fresh, and the prices were fair. I would stop again if I'm close.“

“I didn’t want to say I don’t recommend… however I don’t think I will be going back. Very nice vibe, the stuff was accommodating. My problem comes in about my order. They had to remake it and it still wasn’t correct. I cannot understand how you mess up twice on a salad. I felt the energy change the second time around. Even though they were polite it felt forced. They read it back both times and failed both times. For 65 dollars for 3 salads it should’ve been done correctly. I’ve had better experiences for cheaper and I’m a foodie!“
