“Definitely one of the best meals we've ever had! Our server was Makayla (apologies if I misspelled her name) and she was amazing! So attentive, great personality, and made wonderful recommendations throughout our evening. The culinary team does a fantastic job. Our meal, the service, and the staff made this visit ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FIVE stars! Thank you to Steak 48, our server Makayla, the culinary team, and all the other staff that contributed to an experience to remember! We will be returning, and the sooner the better!“
“This place was fancy! Everybody dressed to the nines, live DJ and great music, and a nice dim atmosphere for groups who are celebrating, or for a date. Good food too, and good drinks!Parking: It was a little hard to figure out where the entrance to the hookah lounge was; from the parking lot go up the stairs to the left hand side“
“It was exhilarating and the experience of fine dinning was incredible. Management and staff was very professional. This was my first time dining there for my birthday, and I highly recommend everyone to go and experience the fine dinning for themselves !!“
“We visited 300 East while spending time with my son in college at UNC Charlotte. Jake our waiter was fantastic! Not only did he make excellent food recommendations but he also took time to explain how to travel around Charlotte and gave advice on local shops and art surrounding the area. Their food was amazing and the restaurant has true southern charm. This is definitely a place to frequent if in town.“
“Great place, first time trying it for my gfs bday. Its a nice fancy restaurant that is not too stuffy. The food and service are good and the prices some of the better ones around. Could use an extra item or 2 on the menu more kid/basic dude eating friendly and another dessert or two. We had a great time and it was a great find, we will certainly be back“
“We were looking forward to trying this place out, and it lived up to our expectations! Our server, Scott, was great. He had great knowledge of the menu and that also had a lot to do with staff training from the leadership, plus he has been in the hospitality industry for years. Now the food…the Tuna crudo was OUT OF THIS WORLD! It was our favorite dish…other than the raw oysters. Those were fabulous too. The fries weren’t our thing, but they were bad. The mushroom toast was quite tasty. The cocktail was perfect…I had a Last Word. My husband loved the wine, and what was so great was the serving choices. You could choose a 3 ounce or a 6 ounce pour, and that’s a great option when aren’t sure exactly what wine will go with a certain dish. I highly recommend dining here!“
“This was quite the experience. We had an AMAZING evening out. My partner and I came here for our 4th anniversary (I mentioned it in the reservation) and the staff made sure we felt welcomed and celebrated. They congratulated us as soon as we walked through the door, complimented my dress, and the server took it from there. Kori was absolutely incredible ❤️ she was beaming. She was informative about the menu, patient/polite, and very high spirited. They even gave us dessert on the house!! I'm dining here every time I come into town. The food was STUNNING, especially the mashed potatoes, crab cake, and steak. Thank you all for making our night special!! ❤️❤️“
“This is my corner bar, I have been a regular since they opened. Great beer, great food, and best of all: staff and managers! Can't list names of everyone today, but each of you shares parts of your lives and dreams, in addition to being awesome at your job. Today, I AM going to name Allison, who greats me with a big hug every time I see her! Just so love my corner bar!“
“Had the most amazing dining experience at Oak Steakhouse. We highly recommend this place for everything! We feel so spoiled!!! Best staff, dining experience and food ever! Special shout out to the whole staff but especially our waitstaff, Tommy, in particular- must move here now.“
“Sunday Brunch was a success today! Thank you ASH, our incredible server and new friend! The food could have been trash and I still would rate the place 5 stars because of her! So fun!funny! Attentive! Great personality that was genuine!I ordered a mimosa—it was good! Classic taste! I tried the honey suckler daiquiri, that was really tasty! Just wish it was frozen! The beignets were AMAZING! We had to order two orders of them lmao I should have gotten a 3rd order to go!I ordered the Charlotte Hot Brown ($24 Stacked French Toast, Fried Chicken, Sweet Maple, Gravy, Grilled Tomatoes, Aged Cheddar, Crispy Bacon, Sunny Egg). I had the gravy on the side and asked the egg to be fried hard! It was really tasty! The atmosphere was great! Energetic but not overwhelming. Can’t wait to come back for dinner“
“It's such a beautiful place! From the time we walked in the door, we saw this beautiful chandelier. Immediately, we were greeted and taken to our seat. The customer service was top tier, and our waitress was amazing. She answered all of our questions and a patient as we talked about 20 minis before we were ready to order. I had the HEAVENLY CRÊPE and it was lovely. Airy ,flavorful and filling, added a little extra salt, but that's because I enforce the taste of salt. The salad dressing was delightful. The way she explained them, I ordered 3! I can't remember the names, but 2 out of the 3 hit the spot.“
“Indulging in a girls' night out at Papi Queso was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nestled in a vibrant atmosphere, this establishment seamlessly blends the warmth of a cozy eatery with the excitement of a bustling social hub. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the aroma of melted cheese and a warm welcome from their entire team- setting the stage for an amazing girls' night. The menu boasted an impressive array of gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and their $8.00 Frozen Rosey (Friday Night Special) promising a feast for both the palate and the soul. For starters, we couldn't resist diving into their signature Garlic Aioli sauce a perfect pair for their Garlic Tots, it was the perfect opening act for what was to come.As we savored each bite of our chosen Texas Cheesesteak grilled cheese sandwich, it became evident that Papi Queso is not your average grilled cheese joint. The combination of premium ingredients and inventive flavor combinations elevated these classic comfort foods to a whole new level. To complement our meal, we sampled their $8.00 refreshing Frozen Rosey. What truly set Papi Queso apart, however, was the impeccable service and vibrant atmosphere. The staff exuded warmth and hospitality, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked up and sat at their bar. The lively ambiance, complete with the chatter of fellow diners, added to the overall sense of camaraderie and celebration. In conclusion, our girls' night out at Papi Queso was nothing short of extraordinary. Whether you're craving a gourmet grilled cheese fix or simply seeking a fun and vibrant dining destination, Papi Queso is sure to satisfy your cravings and leave you craving more.“
“Had lunch and it was some of the best food I have eaten out in a while! I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken wings were flavorful and delicious and had me wanting more!! I had raspberry lemon drop drink that may be my new favorite drink! Wait staff was kind and courteous and eager to please! We will be back with friends!!“
“Visiting Charlotte from New Hampshire, but had scouted out this place before we came. Interestingly enough, it appeared on the list of recommended places from our Airbnb hosts as well. We are very into the farm to table movement, big time Farmers market shoppers ourselves as well. The staff was very friendly, and more importantly, knowledgeable about the menu. Everything was excellent. They were very helpful in accommodating a honey allergy, even whipping up an alternative dressing for the salad we ordered. For the record, the kale salad we had was beyond exceptional. I am not exaggerating when I say that is was the best salad I have eaten in my 65 years! Recommended unconditionally. A must-stop for our next trip to Charlotte.“
“I come with a unique perspective since I was here for a generous work dinner, where the host literally ordered everything on the menu ($315). Since we weren't sure what we were getting, we didn't pace ourselves well and were completely stuffed such that we couldn't adequately finish. I did my service by trying a little bit of everything. While everything was tasty, space was open and flexible for both smaller and larger parties (we had a larger party upstairs), here's my ranking, starting from my faves: - deep fried pickles - scallops with corn - Mac n cheese - short ribs - pork belly - broccolini - string beans Service was just ok, not overly impressive - fried cauliflower“
“Counter is like nothing you’ve experienced, trust me. The Prince tribute is phenomenal! Chef Hart and his team thought of every detail to make the night perfect. The food, the music, and the ambiance were simply magical. I cannot wait to return.“
“My wife and I had a fantastic dinner experience at 131 Main! The atmosphere is perfect for upscale casual dining - inviting and stylish. Our server, Kellie, was top-notch. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure our experience was great. The food came out incredibly fast, in about 10 minutes, and everything was piping hot. We could tell the ingredients were fresh by the taste and perfect seasoning. I had the slow roasted chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken itself was juicy and flavorful, and the smashed potatoes were a perfect complement. My wife ordered the crabcakes, and they were loaded with succulent crabmeat. The sauce was also amazing! We highly recommend 131 Main and will definitely be back to try more of their menu.“
“Very trendy, delicious, and busy spot. Basically reservation only. We reserved outdoor seating but it was a cold day and they squeezed us in inside. Food was artfully prepared. Small portions but sooo good. We tried the fries, curry mussels, Korean bbq, drinks, cheesecake, cappuccino, and Larry's Buns. Very loud environment too, it was hard to hear ourselves talk. It's ok though, fits the vibe.“
“Love this place. The service is fantastic and I've never had a bad meal or a bad drink. I highly recommend their brisket meatballs and their sandwiches. There's a large patio to chill and have a beer and/or just hang out. Dogs are welcome on the patio too!“
“Great wings! I was looking for a decent price wings in the area and came across this place. The wings are great. thousands of flavors to choose from and the fries are well seasoned with seasoned salt. You can choose extra crispy wings as an option which is great because most places you’re not sure if they’re gonna come out crispy or not“
“The ambiance/vibe was very good here. Always seem to have live music going from 7-10pm. The bartender was incredibly kind and gracious. Not too pushy either, which is a plus. I got a Chilean cab and it was very good, but a tad pricey. Their arincini was very very good! Large serving size as well!“
“Easter brunch with their seasonal menu. Chips & quacamole ✔️ Smokehouse platter with beef brisket & BBQ rotisserie chicken; brisket was good?but the chicken was just just so-so. Shrimp & Crab Enchiladas; seafood tasted fresh. Ginger's Best Friend; ok but next time think I'd try the Botanical Mule. Service was good.“
“First time here Patrick the manager was amazing he noticed me looking at the menu for a while and came and asked if it was my first time here then he helped me narrow what I wanted down to the Ultimate Nachos which were amazing and he even bought them out to me. The atmosphere is great and I’ll definitely be back!!!!“
“Multilevel restaurant tucked in BOA! We sat near the open kitchen and it was great. You could see the items being made and the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. It's dimly lit, so it gives warm and cozy vibes. We I didn't know it was an a-la-cart menu till we got there. So check the full menu when before you go! There's not a huge California wine selection; it's more international with France/Italy/Argentina leading the way. I kept it simple with a smooth Rosé (Faísom) from France. We had the Potato Gnocchi with Braised Beef in a tomato sauce. Thie didn't need sides. It came as a whole meal unto itself. The Gnocchi were tender and not gummy, the meat robust as it was Sous vide. The herb marinated shrimp, Calabrian Chili Butter, was delectable. The pan-fried corn had a nice crisp bite, well seasoned and buttery. I didn't care gor the Brussels Sprouts. I was hoping they were good as it was they're halved/grilled and loaded with Bacon, Cashews, Provolone, and a Sherry Vinegar. They feel flat. They needed a sauce or drizzle of balsamic and seasoning. Now, the Mac-n-Cheese was hitting. They add goat milk, which elevated the flavor. It does provide a slight tang. I would have never thought to add that. There's a traditional cheese crust and absolutely no breadcrumbs ( Thanks). We rounded it off with the Spiced cheesecake with praline topping and fresh whipped cream. It was a delectable and delicious dinner with great service“
“I was seated inside at a not very busy time. I sat there 10 plus minutes without anyone saying anything to me. I believe that I saw at least 3 servers and most tables were already eating. I had been in a flying biscuit and probably never will. Oh I need to add that I decided to leave“
“We came from hickory to eat here because they cater to dietary restrictions! The food was sooo amazing! Our server was Ian and he was phenomenal! Some of the best service I’ve received in a long time. Atmosphere was enjoyable and definitely will return!“
“We've been here a bunch and keep coming back. FOOD: All yum! Pay the extra $4 for fresh pasta. Apps: The Prosciutto and Burrata is a yum appetizer. We also like the little dish of beans that come with the complimentary bread. You get one complimentary refill of bread, then they charge you. Entrees: Our favorite dish is the Buttara. Amatriciana is another favorite of mine. Hubs also likes Penne Alla Vodka with Shrimp. My dad likes the Chicken Parmesan (note it doesn't come with pasta, thats another ~$9 for a side of (out of the box) pasta). There is no kids menu, they can sell you a "kids pasta" which is sauce and out of the box noodles. Drinks: Everything is good. Dessert: Save a few bucks by getting Duck Donuts next door or TCBY across the parking lot.“
“I went with a group tonight. The service was excellent and the food came out quickly. I had hanger steak which if you are lucky you will find in a grocery store but most likely you will not. It is a tender piece that is quite delicious. They had a nice light sauce with it. I shared brussel sprouts with a friend. They were roasted and had a crunchy flavorful topping. Roosters always delivers in my experience consistently excellent food. I ordered for takeout a velvet cake with chocolate mousse. It was yummy. It looked besutiful. How can you lose with sugar and chocolate? We had a great experience and will be back!“
“The food was so fresh and delicious. It’s the kind of restaurant where it’s so bewitchingly good you order things off the menu you normally wouldn’t. Every restaurant makes good duck fat fries but this is the kind of restaurant that makes you say “we should try that beets dish” because you know that even if you don’t love beets —the dish in this restaurant will probably get you on board. Great meal. Great atmosphere. Great time.“
“Hailey was great she was our waiter knew the menu, gave great convo but that food was soooo soooo good we had the b-real burger and the big jack burger and they were amazing that sauce was to die for then we also order the redneck nachos and the cheeseburger Biggs man everything on this menu was amazing we came all the way from Atlanta and was not disappointed we will be back“
“My sister and I had an amazing meal here. We really enjoyed our time here and our meal here from our yummy food to our really good drinks. The space and environment is really nice also. Overall this is one of the best restaurants I have been to in Charlotte. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.“
“First time at Bad Daddy’s, I was pleasantly surprised how good my spicy chicken burger was. It was a perfect blend of well cooked fried chicken with some spice and sweetness. The burger needed nothing else except I had to ask for some avocado because it did not have enough. The appetizer we chose was the poblano pepper strips with the spicy aioli (which was so flavorful). My daughter ordered the groomed cheese which we will not be ordering again. There was hardly cheese and the card too thick with no Mayo or anything to make moist and the broccoli had no seasoning!! My husband ordered a burger with lots of meat and he truly enjoyed but he did ask for the spicy aioli because it was a bit dry although cooked medium well. The place is busy but my complaint I’d that the tables are way too close to each other and the waiter had to be called over to our table because we did not see her in a while. I will say I can appreciate the ability of being able to order a side salad and customize it.“
“A fantastic place to go for *any* type of meal - date nights, friends, wine tastings, social hours...a great destination for all purposes. The wine selection is deep and high quality at every price point, the menu has potential options for virtually every taste (don't be fooled that it's a page in total - the diversity is top notch), and the staff is well informed for all requests regardless of food or drink.A couple of things to catch:- While it's great inside as well, Foxcroft really shines from Spring through Fall, where the patio is a fantastic place to grab a bite or have a glass of wine.- The periodic tastings are a great opportunity for new fans of wine to learn about all aspects of the product, and introduce new options to long-time aficionados. Worth a try!- Just another shoutout to the staff. Quality folks.“
“I frequent Flower Child for lunch very often with Coworkers as it is nearby to us.Food is always fresh, prepped, and cooked to perfection. My favorite dish is the Chicken Enchilada or Chicken salad.Service is always fast and greatAtmosphere is nice dining setting for lunch especially on a nice day.The only reason not a 5 star in my book is due to price as a plate and drink can easily run you about $24 here which as much as I like it as a healthy choice for lunch paying this for lunch multiple times out the week as I feel it is a bit overpriced for ok sized portions of food. Unfortunately I guess it's the new world we live in where Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner places even burger places are A La Carte with the price of everything driven up not just a fancy steakhouse restaurant like it used to be“
“I've been doing Courts and Coffee for the past month, and it is my new favorite thing. Randi is very nice and welcoming and really great about matching you up with people at your skill level. She does all the organizing and I get to just show up and play! I'm new and still learning and even when I play with/against more experience people they have been so nice and encouraging. If you're open and willing to learn from others, you will enjoy yourself. And socializing in between games and the included coffee is a nice bonus!“
“It was my first visit to Tacos 4 Life. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. These were some of the best tacos I've had. I ordered the Hawaiian shrimp and Korean BBQ steak tacos. They were hot and fresh. I can't wait to go again.“
“The food was excellent. Several choices for wine and the pinot from Washington was a good one. Our server knew the wines and was able to explain their characteristics. The menu could be more expansive; however, there is still something for everyone.“
“Copied from my other account that I am closing out to consolidate all here. A truly wonder place for upscale special intimate dining in NC's Queen City. "A rather pricey experience but wonderful for romantic special occasion / dinning / date / celebrating. Two 4 course meals with wine came to $550. -- In home built by the Vanderbilts. Residence of Charlotte Mayor McNinch back in 1890s. His ancestors renovated the house and with it did it historically correct. Original glass in the windows, warbly. Authentic touches. Routinely rated amongst America's best restaurants. The kind of sweat one's. They remedied with Martini's much better matching our desire. Appetizers and palate cleansing treats in between. Some most food was stellar and some just good have had better. The Fillet was good but not especially seasoned or tender so have had better experience elsewhere. But for the price it should be best in class. Everything else was stellar especially the service. The sommelier was pleasant, explained much with enthusiasm and professionalism. Wines were perfectly paired. I would definitely consider returning to celebrate something special."“
“Just happened to google food places near me and so glad we did. The service is awesome and to start we had the buffalo balls. Still had a light crunch with the perfect amount of heat. The I had the chicken and grits while my wife had the creole! Both dishes were great!“
“Nice place with good music and atmosphere, their cocktails were the best, we went here hoping tasting wine but that is only on Tuesday, we told the person assisting us we were here first time but we got very limited information however the bartender was around and she was super friendly and sharing information about the wine tasting days , we saw few reviews on Bellini cocktail and wanted to have it but came to know their menu changed and made us a version without slushy it was very good, for the next one we asked her to make one of her specials and she gave us a drink which was too good it was not in the menu. My wife also ordered the same drink and she told hers tasted even better with lime touch, she is the best. The food options were very limited but the way it was presented and quality is great . We ordered hummus plates and mushroom flatbread, we liked both, the food we ordered, the food menu also keeps changing here!!overall we had great experience and we will be back to the wine tasting someday.“
“Order 2 nights in a row . Tried different places each night. AMAZING FOOD ! Wagner Cheesesteak is not to be played with! Very easy and convenient to order and pick up. Late night is the best part tbh I love they are open late and still offer quality food ?“
“Went here on a Saturday night when there was a March madness UNC game happening as well as a charlotte fc game in the city. Despite it being Saturday night, service was really quick as well as super kind. On top of the amazing service, the food was delicious!“
“The Horseshoe is a gem hidden! They've got it all – screens everywhere, quick service, and food and drinks that hit the spot. The food is really upscale bar food. I got the chicken Alfredo and my wife got lemon pepper wings with well seasoned fries. I have become a regular here and every time I try something new they never disappoint me.Vegetarian options: beyond burger offered“
“Our first time going and the atmosphere was warm yet vibrant. The owner came and introduced himself to us and answered a simple question we had about olives. He was just very warm and down to earth and genuine. Excellent drinks and awesome food.“
“The extensive gluten free menu is perfect for my husband who is gluten intolerant. He ordered the Maxx burger gluten free with truffle french fries. I had the crab topped haddock with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Our server Chris was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped me pick out a nice glass of chardonnay. We will definitely be back. “The drinks were amazing! They've got a decent selection of mocktails too. The service was good, however, it did feel like our waitress was bothered by us despite needing minimal help over the evening. I would've liked to see more variety in the small plates. The food we had was delicious. I absolutely hated the fact that they put the spicy crab on top of these pebbles in a dark restaurant. They looked like legumes because it was dark and half the table accidentally chewed on rocks.“
“A friend invited me to lunch at Brown Bag and I was pretty impressed. The parking is up a ramp and in the lot beside a bank. There were a few spots open when I got there. No issues. The atmosphere is not a big deal here. Fairly simple. The service - man who took our order was super friendly and cheerful. Two pats on the back. The food - at first I thought it was a bit expensive for lunch. The name brown bag made me think it would be mostly sandwiches. However, it was very fresh and hearty - well worth the price. The servings were very generous. Look at all of that meat!I got the teriyaki chicken with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Super delicious! The purpose - had to look up what the purpose is that is their tag line. They provide meals for sick or shut in people if ordered 24 hours in advance. Amazing mission and heart to serve others well. I love that!“
“Outstanding! Off the charts! And our new favorite downtown restaurant. It could not have been better. Four of us went to lunch before the ballet, and not only was the food. Outstanding, each of us had something different, and it was superb, and the wait staff could not have been better. Thank you for making it our new favorite place.“
“Amazing service and food! We came in with an infant and our server was incredibly accommodating, even offering to turn down the music, if it was too loud. Food and coffee were both perfect! I had an amazing espresso and my wife had, what she said was, “The best cappuccino I have had, within the United States.”Kid-friendliness: We brought in our infant and they were incredibly accommodating!“
“I was looking for a restaurant for my wife and I for our anniversary. I always wanted to eat here when I lived in Plaza but finally remembered to come since it's a special occasion. Our serve was Dylan and he didn't disappoint with service and recommendations. Ambiance was very Christmas-like and personal especially since it was the holiday's, which felt very private and personal. For starters, I had the escargot and my wife had the Apply Begger's Purse. I was a little surprised with the Gorgonzola taste since I was used to copious amounts of traditional garlic with the dish, but it was surprisingly tasty. The purse was also a good mixture of sweet and savory.I tend to be an adventurous eater and he recommended the ostrich since it was the special for the weekend while my wife had also had the special which was halibut. The Ostrich wasn't very gamy at all the was a mixture of beef and duck tase which took me for a pleasant surprise and the Halibut was cooked perfectly and wasn't very dry.For desert we tried their Flourless Molten Lava Trifle and it was he right amount of sweet.Overall, it was an amazing experience will highly recommend for any special occasion or just date night. Will be back for sure!“
