“Finally got to try Sips and Dips for the first time, and it was a fun experience! I’ve never had craft soda like this before and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The concept is unique, and they offer plenty of options with different sizes and soda bases to choose from.

The space inside is small, but they make up for it with a nice patio outside that’s perfect for sitting and enjoying your drink. Overall, a great spot. I’ll definitely be back!“

“I’ve come a couple times now and it is now my favorite chicken spot, hands down. The Bossy Bites are well seasoned, juicy, and flavorful. Combined with their homemade sauces, it’s an experience you’ll never forget. The Bossy Sauce and the Honey Dijon are too good to be true. The aesthetic inside is super cute, and the staff is very friendly. The only bad thing about this place is you will keep coming back for more! It is worth every cent, and is a must-try chicken experience if you are in town. Lovely service, lovely food, lovely atmosphere.“

We had great service from our server Noah, who was very quick to take our drink order and provided attentive service for our entire dinner. We both ordered a Chimichangas (my wife had the chicken and I had the beef). Both were delicious, well seasoned and served hot. (fwiw) noted the staff were sweeping and cleaning the restaurant tables quickly, after a table turned.“

“Great food and great service. Got there with a reservation and we were seated within about 5 minutes of our reservation time. It was pretty crowded but wasn't too much of a problem.

Food was really good, got some of the shareable plates for the two of us to share, the brussel sprouts were great and loved the short rib croquettes.

The cocktail menu was extensive and the ones we tried were very good.

Even though it was crowded didn't feel like we were crowded at the table. We were able to have a good conversation without feeling like we had to worry about others hearing us.

“We took our XL bully here after lunch on a Sunday and man, the staff was the best. We have seen so many people tell us our dog is too big to be in public, and this place not only allowed him, but loved him. All of the staff seemed to come say hello and they were so accommodating. Kat was awesome as our server, even though she had to wait to greet us for everyone else to greet our pup. We are so grateful for the afternoon and the love shown to our big boy. They love all pups, small to XL, so go visit them and let your dog get a little extra love ❤️“

“My friends and I visited last week and instantly fell in love with the Romeo and Katrina as well as their food. They were so hospitable and accommodating. Everything is made fresh and with love, even the juice was superb. We will be visiting again. The food was delicious“

“We had an awesome experience at Chex Grill & Wings after visiting Beat The Bomb for my daughter’s birthday celebration! I had a group of five 10-year-olds (plus a few others), and the staff was incredibly patient as the kids figured out what they wanted to order. They even let us sample the chicken wings before choosing—huge win! The wings were delicious—especially the Strawberry Hot flavor, which is now officially my favorite! While we were enjoying our food, a man came in and sat down nearby—we thought he was just another customer, but it turns out he was the owner! He was so kind and invited my daughter (the birthday girl) and her friend to take on the 60-second wing challenge for a chance to win $50. My daughter won, and when the owner asked if she wanted to give her $50 to her friend, she said yes—and then he surprised her by giving her $100! Such a kind and thoughtful gesture. To top it all off, the staff sang Happy Birthday to my daughter and brought her a slice of cake. 🥹❤️ The avocado side salad was also super fresh and tasty. The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly, and the service was fast. Highly recommend—this place made our celebration so special!“

“I can’t express how happy I am with Mac Tabby Cat Cafe. I went a few days before Christmas to possibly adopt a new cat. The staff here is amazing, the cats are all adorable and it was overall a great experience. I adopted a beautiful white cat and I love her to pieces. I would not hesitate in the future to adopt from Mac Tabby again. Alternately if you just love cats and want to go hang out for an hour with the kitties, it’s a blast. The cats are very interactive. “On Friday 8/23, we came to The Crunkleton on a recommendation for my daughter’s birthday and we were NOT disappointed! From the moment we walked in the atmosphere and the staff were wonderful! We had Cole as our server and regardless of how busy it was that night, he made us feel like we were his only priority. He was very knowledgeable about your massive spirit selections and I mean massive! The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. We got the Really Good Burger and let me tell you, we said medium and it was on point! It was very well seasoned which is rare when you go out to restaurants. Then to top off the night, my daughter got the beignets with the cold brew icing, WOW! I am a sweets person and these with that icing just WOW! Cole even put a candle on the rim of the dish because it was her birthday! So, you have our business any time we are in Charlotte! I just can’t say enough about our experience!!! You have a great place, amazing food, a wonderful spirits collection, and definitely not last or least a fantastic server in Cole!! “What a gem! In house drip of the day was perfectly hot and deliciously brewed. A must try- the everything savory danish. I absolutely loved the self service station to heat my pastry and doctor my coffee as I like. I’m excited to try the freshly ground for me bag of beans I chose to take home. “This is the best smash burger I’ve found in the Charlotte area so far. The restaurant has a bit of a bodega vibe — you’ll find shelves of candy and drinks alongside a surprisingly strong food menu, and the food definitely delivers.

There’s seating both inside and outside, or you can easily grab your order to go. When your food is ready, they call your name and send a text notification, which makes it convenient to wait outside if it’s busy.

“I am an Argentina native and was so excited to find out about this place. The medialunas are amazing ! the dough of the empanadas are 10/10 but I feel the empanada filling is overwhelmed by cumin. If it didn't have cumin, I feel like they would even be better than my mom's!“

“Visited Matthews, NC few days ago and had lunch here. The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). Service was great, and washrooms were clean. The place has a really cool vibe to it, looks like one would feel at home there while watching sports on one of the many screens.“

“You gotta love a good coffee spot. Stopped by for a quick break. Ordered the Pumpkin spice latte which consisted of a balance of flavors, very delicious. My husband ordered the Pumpkin spice Aerocano which was packed with medium strong coffee and a perfect amount of pumpkin flavor. We also ordered a few sweet treats. The Honey layer cake wasn’t as expected it needs more honey but it is light and airy. The Lemon cheesecake wasn’t so elegant with a mouth full of lemon flavors, tastes like a lemon cookie or lemon curd. The Hazelnut dream was our least favorite it was beyond blend no flavor, no hazelnut, and had a medicine taste. And last but not least we ordered the Yemen chocolate which was absolutely delicious, nice chocolate layers, crunchy and packed with pistachio and chocolate flavors. Bottom layered with a brownie. Overall, I would definitely come here again. The stuff was friendly and very informative on the menu, the food was perfection and the coffee is what brings this place together.“

“Man… this place is hands down probably the best dining experience I’ve ever had in charlotte. The atmosphere, service, plating, menu etc are all very very impressive. The MOST impressive was Tommy and his extensive knowledge in wines and sparkling wines.. he took our table on an incredible journey pairing delicious wines and trivia with the exquisite dishes that Will and the boys prepared. I personally had the bison bolognese with handmade pasta and he brought an insanely awesome Cab out to pair it with- Dude was cruising around casually in a t-shirt absolutely OWNING his craft. Not only was my pállete entertained but we also learned a shit-ton about the wine and its origins. For the first time in 10+ years I didn’t feel like I was caught up in a get-in/get-out high dollar dining scheme- rather, it was an amazing immersive experience. If I thought I could pay double just to experience last night over again I would make multiple reservations to do so. The current menu and staff as well as management is absolutely crushing and impressing. I don’t see how this place doesn’t have a solid 5 star rating. Keep it up please! I will be back very soon.“
