“Very nice restaurant tavern. Service was good tried to be very accommodating to our larger group size on a Saturday night. Had to wait a little longer but that is to be expected with our group. Food was good. A little more pricey than I prefer but seem to be worth it.“

Fried mushrooms and cold cold beer to start .. then I got the Patty melt and fries ( had to bring half home ) He got the Meatball sub and onion rings but nothing left to bring home ! “I had the Honolulu bowl and it was delicious. Super happy we have a poke place near Mint Hill. I do recommend to bring your small kids in a stroller with a tray, though, since there are no high chairs.“

“Eat there every time we are in the area. We always enjoy the home cooked food. Tonight my husband had the baked chicken with dressing, green beans and black eyed peas. I had the sausage with cabbage, mashed potatoes and black eyed peas. Both meals were delicious!!“

“I’ve been to just about every Que Onda location around Charlotte, but finally remembered to take photos at the Matthews spot tonight. As a California-born taco lover, I’m almost embarrassed to admit how incredible the tacos are here... because I’ve eaten at just about every hole-in-the-wall from Tijuana and all up and down the East Coast. I know good tacos, and this place absolutely deserves its flowers.

Every single taco was phenomenal, but the steak is out of this world. The flavors are bold, the textures are on point, and the tortillas hold everything together without falling apart, which is a bigger deal than people realize. If you appreciate real tacos and not just “taco-adjacent” food, Que Onda is well worth checking out.“

“Love Thai Taste Matthews. Been going here for years. Always great service, clean, and amazing Thai food. The Thai iced tea is our family favorite. Can't go wrong with the daily lunch specials which come with soup and a spring roll, be aware that the lunch mmenu changes daily. You can still order from the regular menu. Cannot say enough good about this place. Hope you enjoy it as much as my family.“

“Visited Matthews, NC few days ago and had lunch here. The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). Service was great, and washrooms were clean. The place has a really cool vibe to it, looks like one would feel at home there while watching sports on one of the many screens.“

We got steamed dumplings (both pork and vegan), sesame chicken with egg fried rice and pork belly bone broth ramen - everything came out freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. 😋 Thai iced tea was perfectly crafted. This is one of those places you crave and return to again and again because it’s consistent, cozy and delicious.“

“My experience at ming fu was a perfect one i hands down !! I was met with the best hospitality and the food did not disappoint ! Not only were the prices already a steal during lunch but they had deals on top of that. I got the boneless ribs, egg rolls, and crab rangoon as a appetizer and literally had to stop myself from eating it all before my entrees came out so i didn't get full too soon lol.
For my entree i had the ming fu special, sesame chicken, miso soup, white rice, fried rice , the rock and roll specialty sushi roll , and the spicy mayo California roll. They have a great deal where if you order a main entree you get a free soup or salad, as well as if you order a speciality roll, you get a maki roll free and well as a soup or salad ! (dine in only for soup/salad). The ming fu special was definitely my favorite ! the jumbo shrimp and scallops , the chicken and mixed veggies with the sa-cha sauce was everythingggg ..and it was served super cute on a sizzling plate with the foil shaped as a swan ! The whole experience was more than i expected and ill definitely be returning to try more on the menu!.“

“Amazing food. Always cooked to order so insanely fresh! I pick up my food and drive 20-30 minutes home before getting to enjoy, and it’ll still be piping hot!!! My favorite Chinese place. I live closer to Ballantyne but will happily drive to Matthews for this place! They even have sesame shrimp! Definitely worth a stop!“

“Beautiful restaurant with amazing food and service. I ordered the Bento box with crab lagoon, California rolls, chicken broccoli and fried rice. My husband ordered Shezwan twin delightful, which was chicken and beef, and fries rice. We both loved our food. We will definitely be back.“
