“Found out about this place on a fb reel and knew I had to visit. I wanted to see how close to my parents in SC it was and found out only 1.5 hrs. Girls road trip. Visiting the south from Spokane Wa. This place didnt disappoint. Bought a tumbler to bring home. Can't wait to come back! Made my little weird heart happy.“

“How delighted we were to discover this amazing place! The cozy atmosphere was enhanced by “real” (upholstered) furniture that invited us to truly relax. The owners were even more wonderful, from the first moment with their warm words and sincere smiles. They were so patient as we took time to decide what to order, and everything was delicious: hot cocoa, ice cream, pound cake, and empanadas. We initiated longer conversation, and appreciated the owners taking time to share fascinating stories about their personal lives and business. We must say, we arrived as total strangers and left feeling like we found new friends. We definitely will be back, and believe you will love this place too. God bless these good folks. “The Sweet Life is a phenomenal bakery specializing in desserts and baked goods, and just about everything they make is excellent. Their selection is consistently fresh, rich, and satisfying.

My family keeps going back mainly for their lemon bars and strawberry bars, which are absolutely outstanding. Those alone are worth the visit.

I’ve heard some people speculate about pre-made mixes being used, but honestly, the quality of their desserts makes that hard to believe. Everything tastes too fresh and well-made.

Beyond the bars, their cupcakes are great, and I’ve heard really good things about their custom cakes for birthdays and weddings as well.

Prices are generally around $4–$7 per item, and while that might sound a bit high, the portions are often large—some of the cookies and bars are genuinely huge, so you get your money’s worth.

Overall, it’s a fantastic bakery for special treats or occasions. It might not be the best place for an everyday habit… though it’s definitely the kind of place that could accidentally become one.“

“I can’t express how happy I am with Mac Tabby Cat Cafe. I went a few days before Christmas to possibly adopt a new cat. The staff here is amazing, the cats are all adorable and it was overall a great experience. I adopted a beautiful white cat and I love her to pieces. I would not hesitate in the future to adopt from Mac Tabby again. Alternately if you just love cats and want to go hang out for an hour with the kitties, it’s a blast. The cats are very interactive. Thanks again.“

“We went on Friday morning around 10. It was packed and people waiting in line. We only had to wait about 15 minutes. I figured service would be slow since every table was full. I was pleasantly surprised that the service was exceptional. The food was also exceptional. We had omelettes with home fries. The home fries were out of this world. “This is a chain steakhouse. However the staff is attentive and the food is consistently good. They put lamb chops back on the menu which was excellent. My wife usually has the salmon. It is a consistent favorite for us at least once a month.“

“Wow! We've eaten here before but it's been a while. Very impressed. Friendly waitress (Makenzie), I had the 2 meat platter - ribs and smoked turkey (or you can get 3) with 2 sides and hush puppies. The ribs were fantastic! Moist (yes,I said moist) and flavorful. Some for the best baby back ribs I've ever eaten!! The smoked turkey breast was served in aluminum foil and guess what -- it was moist too! Baked beans were saucy with bits of BBQ meat mixed in. Mashed potatoes had bits of skin mixed in. Cornbread and hush puppies were good. Husband had the 1/4 chicken and ribs. I love where this place is located - close off 85. I don't have to fight Bruton Blvd/Charlotte traffic. They have a train that circles a track attached to the ceiling 🚂- very cute. They do have a senior/child's menu. We will definitely be back.“

Stop in during the week for great food with almost no wait. No better prepared food in concord. Hand breaded mushrooms are the absolute best not to mention the pizza. Try the sampler. It’s great.“

“Just left after having my birthday dinner there. Yup, that’s my top choice around. Where else can you find gluten free General Tso’s chicken and it is amazing! Lots of gluten free options/ healthier options and ingredients. As a 15 year fitness professional I appreciate that! Best part though was when we got the hostess to come over and have some of my birthday cake we brought though! Was slightly a trip that she was clearly Italian as well. Kind of felt like back home in NY for a minute there, haha! They are always unsurprisingly busy, yet I’ve never had to wait a long time. Best Asian food in the area. Hands down!“
