Our Waitress we had was horrible she never once refilled our drinks. She only took our order and delivered it to us. We did leave a tip which should go to the Manager. “We’ve been to Traust twice now for karaoke nights, both times were great!! We had a birthday dinner there with about 25 people in our party, and Megan held it down!! She did awesome at keeping everyone’s drinks full and taking orders as people rolled in. She was attentive and friendly. Last night there was some drama with a strange man dancing around and trying to talk to our kids. Once I mentioned it to our server, she and several other staff members IMMEDIATELY ran this guy off. They do NOT play when it comes to child safety.“

“We took our XL bully here after lunch on a Sunday and man, the staff was the best. We have seen so many people tell us our dog is too big to be in public, and this place not only allowed him, but loved him. All of the staff seemed to come say hello and they were so accommodating. Kat was awesome as our server, even though she had to wait to greet us for everyone else to greet our pup. We are so grateful for the afternoon and the love shown to our big boy. “What a gem! In house drip of the day was perfectly hot and deliciously brewed. A must try- the everything savory danish. I absolutely loved the self service station to heat my pastry and doctor my coffee as I like. I’m excited to try the freshly ground for me bag of beans I chose to take home. It’s a pleasure to support a local and small business. Bonus: if you can’t make it in person, they do Friday deliveries! A must try for sure!“

“Workers should have all their hair pulled back and not hanging down, basically touching the cookie dough. They also shouldn't be constantly wiping sweat off their brow over the food and pushing hair back out of their face with the same glove they are making the cookies. That is a health concern for all customers. I've complained about the same girl twice. She has black hair, wears a hat and eye glasses. Last time I was there, I took video of her. If the situation is not addressed, I will be calling the health department on this location.“

“This quaint restaurant located in a charming town..easy quick 5 minutes off the highway..2 minutes back on...soooo WORTH the stop. Soooo fresh, large portions, the Ruben and Chicken salad are some of the best we have had. The staff were Hometown friendly..great atmosphere with a beautiful lake view to sit outside if you choose. Coffee was great- try their roasted Brainstorm!! And to boot they are part of a non-profit group called HOLY ANGELS supporting and providing employment opportunities for the differently able. loved it all!“

The pulled pork, not as tasty as the ribs, but better than most pulled pork I've had in the area. Go during off hours, line is frequent.“

I was planning from out of state so I had a lot of questions about the event space which were always answered promptly and helpfully. The food menus offered a lot of variety to choose from. Everything was delicious! Of course, beers and other beverages served did not disappoint. The “day of” staff was very helpful with decor, service and audio needs. Highly recommend as a fun place to host a party. We used the Grosse Festhalle room for a group of 45 which worked perfectly and were able to use outside area too on a beautiful day.“

When we walked in, there was an event going on with a full on DJ & a photographer. I was surprised but it was a nice surprise. Found out that this type of event happens twice a month.
