First, the food was great, just get take out! Unfortunately, can’t recommend it because the service was terrible. Lots of people working but our waitress seemed to be the one struggling the most. She never checked on us after others bought our food, brought cheese dip after waiting forever and having to ask twice but then when she bought out two of them she said they are out of chips so we couldn’t eat our dip. Mar y Tierra Restaurant South Tryon is a great spot with great drinks. Each cocktail was made to order and beautiful. The food is perfection, with big portions of tasty food and good prices. Highly recommend the fresh ceviche, torta, and Mexican tacos with handmade tortillas. Homemade tortillas are some of the best. Crab legs were delicious, and tacos awesome. The service is amazing, with the best attitude. The atmosphere is very nice, with imported Mexican Cokes. This is genuinely the best Mexican restaurant, with incredible drinks and food that does not miss. Everything has the best flavor, and the price is reasonable for the quality.
