“Puerta was so good and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I had the sweet potato empanadas 10/10. I also had the queso dip which was an 8/10 I enjoyed. Lastly the Spivey margarita was super good and had the perfect amount of kick! I sat at the bar a genuinely enjoyed the service. I will definitely be returning.“
“Decided to try out a new spot in south end with a couple buddies.I’ve had a lot of Mexican/Latin food in the past few months; so my pallet is wired for it.Server was polite. Music and atmosphere were great. Definitely has the high energy music that I like.Food came out pretty quickly along with a complimentary chips and salsa.I ordered three different tacos to get a variety of flavors. A shrimp, pulled pork and a slightly larger beef taco.Normally I expect a mouthwatering bite of flavor out of one of those tacos. All of them tasted good but not great. Nothing exceptional about it. My buddies also did not love their food.If I spend $30+ on tacos and split a margarita pitcher with the boys; I need it to be BANGING. When I go back I’ll try out a new plate to see if there something more my style on the menu. Also not the restaurants fault but the parking was close to impossible to find without using the pay to park garage.“
“I've been twice in a week and I don't believe I've never been before this. Spinach wrap burrito with steak and chicken is so good. I want to try the salad next time. Also try the Blenheim hot Gingle Ale in the bottle. My manager recommended it and it is fabulous. Don't have a bottle opener? No worries if it's your first time they'll give you one! Don't be intimidated by the line at lunchtime it moves fast and Johnny is definitely worth it!“
“First time visiting. We were greeted with enthusiasm and samples so a custom sauce was able to be created for our palate. This place is busy with regulars that the staff greeted upon their arrival. Quick service and great food. I can't say enough about the enthusiastic atmosphere! People who love what they do.“
“This is quickly becoming the new after work spot! Got there around 7 on a Wednesday and was seated immediately. Love the $6 cocktails and Tequila flights! Lots of options but settled on the ACP Texano with peppers added so I could sample all the different meat options. Food was so good! Ended the meal woth Flan and Churros. Will be back!“
“The??best??Al Pastor??Tacos??periodt!Vibes and music?love the decor *look for the pop tarts and gummiesThat morita salsa, more please?? flavor for daysssWe also tried the flautas, queso, birria torta & tacos and of course the Coconut Mojito⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Sophia really took care of us, THANK YOU??*sorry no food pics but all too good to waste time in silly photos??“
“The food and drinks are reasonably priced. Food tastes really good and big portions. Very clean and spacious inside. The service was a bit slow after the food arrived, however we did come at a peak time. A manager was attentive and quickly got us what we needed.“
“*PICTURES OF THE ENTIRE MENU HERE*Ate here for the first time today for lunch. It was lined up out the door but the line moved very quickly. I got the #1 and it was delicious! I should have just got the cheese sauce only on top instead of the cheese sauce, tomato sauce, and sour cream but it was still good ? At least now I know for next time. You get a bag of chips with salsa with every meal. The service was excellent ?? the workers worked quickly to get orders completed and it only takes a few minutes to get your food. If you get a drink, you can make your own by just grabbing a cup at the drink station and choosing what you'd like to drink. The lady taking the orders was very kind and sweet and happy to serve the people. They speak English and Spanish. I got my 1 year old a cheese quesadilla for $3! He loves it. All together I spent under $15 for my meal, his quesadilla, and a drink. ? I'm pretty happy about that. I never knew this place even existed today and now I can't wait to eat there again. Overall a 10/10 experience. We will most definitely be back. ??????????♥️???“
“ABSOLUTLY FANTASTIC!!! Our server Miguel, the manament and entire staff were excellent! Everything about this visit was phenomenal! I had a friend visiting from FL so I got to impress her with some of the best Mexican Cuisine I have ever tasted. The music was lively (as usual), the salsas were tangy and tantalizing, the flavor of all the dishes were perfectly flavored and seasoned, and BEST of all my tacos were crunchy and juicy! 200% satisfied with my service and dinner! Thans for having me as a guest LA Poblanita ??“
“I wish I had learned about this place earlier! Food is awesome and reasonably priced. The staff are genuinely nice people. You can tell that they all like one another and like what they do. Atmosphere is super chill and happy. Did I mention the awesome food?? I am looking forward to being a regular!“
“Ordered to-go after getting my hair cut at Binh’s around the corner. Super attentive & friendly staff. They work incredibly hard here, there is one guy who is constantly taking orders, sweeping, bussing tables etc. The food was delicious, I can’t complain !“
“Had lunch with some girlfriends, the plan was tacos and margs, but our greedier sides took over and we all order burritos…No regrets. The guacamole was so so good. I would recommend the Queso with chorizo and if you don’t finish it it reheats really well on the stovetop.“
“I hadn't had paella in years. Their Mexican take on it was right on. My husband had never had it and loved it. The tropical margaritas were a treat, and an experience making it extra special. The mango cheesecake was the best dessert I've ever had, so light, creamy (not grainy) and delicious.Parking: The parking would have been fine but it's obviously a very popular restaurant and there's lots of traffic in and out. It's worth it!“
“The cuisine is somewhat typical Mexican fare. Nothing particularly sticks out, but to be honest, I've never experienced anything negative here either. There has always been smiling, kind service. Because of how big the quantities are, I can generally get two meals off of them!“
“Decent burritos and tacos for Charlotte. Can be better. I miss California burritos from San Diego, so I was happy to see that Mal Pan has one. I didn’t like that they put inside tomatoes, some white cheese. Would prefer more meat and fries with some cheesy sauce but overall it was good and my craving for California burrito was fulfilled. I wish the meat was softer for it. The shrimp burrito was blunt, and there was mostly rice and beans. I personally don’t like when burrito is full of rice and beans. Tacos was good especially the one with plantain but I think it’s too expensive for Charlotte. Probably it’s a fair price I’m just comparing it with good expensive places in San Diego.“
“The best Honduran restaurant in all of Charlotte with the best customer service I have ever had, everyone here is friendly and helpful. The place is always very clean. Excellent cooks too, the food always comes out well cooked, very good food. ??“
“I’ve been coming here since 2017 and it has never disappointed. We got the special tempura salmon taco and a Tav-Ah-Roo Taco (Tuna Wasabi). Both were incredible!Complimentary chips and salsa for table are amazing! This place is a staple in NODA.“
“I love this place sooo much. Every time I call no matter who answers the phone they have the sweetest people working there. They really are customer centered. I have ordered from here a bunch of times and everything that I order has always arrived exactly as I ordered it. They never forget things it’s always served precisely as advertised. The food is delicious. This place really has nailed it. Consistently good food. I never try new menu items when I get food I always stick to the same things so that I won’t waste my money or be disappointed but this is one of those places where I always try something new because I trust that it’s going to be good. Each time I order I look for a new item. Good job guys. ❤️“
“A very pleasant surprise when we had to spend a night at the airport hotel (Windham) next door. I was expecting the usual mediocre Mexican fare, but the food here was really well made and the menu is huge. Don't be fooled by the backwater location and 1960s look. Miguel's is top notch.“
“New to Charlotte and 1st time here. The flavors are robust! Everything was delish and to top it off, they have a salsa bar!! We tried all of them, I think there were 7, and they all had their own unique flavor. I did manage to pick out my top faves, but they were all good! This place will become a go to for us!!Parking: Easy getting in. Spaces a little tight, harder getting out!“
“This place was very good. There were 2 main servers and one of the servers was the bartender as well. We were seated with no probably and did not wait long at all for food and drinks. They were very attentive and friendly even when it started to get packed. The only reason why I did not provide a 5 star was because I noticed they did not change out their gloves. You can’t serve food and make drinks with the same glove you’re taking money with, and touching doors with. Overall very good.“
“My husband & I stopped in here on a whim while in Charlotte & I'm SO glad we did! The atmosphere is beautiful & so unique. Our server, Harold, was so friendly & welcoming. The food was out of this world. I'm a bit of a tres leches snob & this was the BEST one I've had. We'll definitely be coming back!“
“Had the BEST night at Bakersfield!! Have been here so many times over the last 5 years, but this time was by far the best, and I credit that to my server Chanel!! Chanel, you are 10/10!! Your energy is so positive!! Hope to come back again soon!“
“I stopped in for lunch yesterday and had a serious craving for sopa de pollo. Hands down, this is the best sopa de pollo I've had from any restaurant! In addition, my waiter was extremely kind and outgoing. I don't know his name, but he appeared to have black hair that was blonde in areas and pulled back in a hair tie. Super nice guy. Great experience and will definitely be back!“
“This is a hole in the wall spot with very good authentic Mexican food. Delicious. We ordered the birria tacos with rice. Chips and salsa are complimentary. This place does not have a liquor license so no margaritas with your meal. Seating is sparse but the server is attentive.Excellent food. Atmosphere/location is decent.“
“My delivery was delayed due to Uber eats so I was sure with the extra wait food would be cold but to my surprise it was still warm and everything was so good! We ordered the steak tacos, quesabirria tacos and a Pepsusa, they provided many sauces and the consume broth had plenty of meat, onion & cilantro. I’m getting over a sickness but I’ll be sure to try it again when I have my full tastebuds back. Definitely recommend!“
“Super recommended, the shepherd ones are delicious, and what can we say about the very rich and spicy green sauce. ??I read comments before going about the sauce that was very spicy, and obviously it is spicy, that's why it's called salsa, in addition to being a Mexican restaurant, we Mexicans should know that.“
“Very good food and diversity of dishes, great customer services, Melissa & Nicolle really takes care of the Customers really enjoy their Beef ribs and shrimps plate, great flavor and decoration was awesome ?Vegetarian options: They do have some vegetarian dishesParking: Big space for parkingKid-friendliness: You can bring your kids with no problem, they do have a good kids menu.Wheelchair accessibility: They do have wheelchair ♿️ spots“
“I stopped by Soul Miner’s Garden at Camp North End yesterday and I tried their BBQ quesadillas. I’ve been to SMG many times and I have never been disappointed. This was the first time that I had tried the BBQ quesadillas and they were delicious. I also had fries (which are always great) and a water.I will definitely come back every opportunity I get!“
“I have been curious about this place for several months now driving by it. Today is Tuesday and their sign only says “Taco Tuesdays $1.49” and the top half of the sign has been blown out by the wind. On my way back to Concord from downtown Charlotte, I decided that I would try out their carnitas.Though I have not traveled around Mexico to know its food, I have lived in Denver, Colorado for decades where there are plenty of authentic Mexican and other Hispanic restaurants all around. Denver has great taquerias! Ely Taqueria is the best that I have found in North Carolina so far. As soon as I started to look at food in the hot steamer pans, I KNEW this was my kind of place.I do not eat beef, but I love my pork and I can tell you for a fact, the carnitas are the bomb! Pork shoulder is slowly roasted and then chopped into small pieces and fried crispy! Man, it is good! They came plated up with half a grilled jalapeno pepper and grilled onion on the side and covered with chopped yellow onion and cilantro, just like they do at the taquerias in Colorado. Plus, you are presented with three different squeeze bottles with great salsas. I especially like the two green (verde) ones. While they were preparing my order, I asked the proprietor more about the food there. They have chile verde in the steam table. I asked for a little sample of just the green sauce/soup to sip, so I can test its favor. It is the real deal and it can take your breath away, as it is nice, hot, and also spicy. They serve aqua fresca which is fruit water. They take fruit like whole pineapples and make a lovely healthy drink. They also make horchata and both are available daily. I am pretty sure I will now be a steady customer.Something good to know, if you are a fan of chivo or goat (which is much like lamb), they are usually serving it on the weekends! One of their features is Barbacoa de Chivo y Res!I bought one of their amazing looking Chicharrones to take home, they offered to chop it into four or five nice chunks and of course, I said yes. Once I got home a couple hours later I put a chunk in my Toaster Oven/Air Fryer. I heated it for 7 minutes at 300 degrees and then Air Fried at 400 for about five minutes and it is perfect! I love fried pork belly and this is a good deal at $5.95 for one large piece.Parking: Just look for their sign and then you will be able to find accessible, close parking.“
“We got seated right away. It was Sat at 12 and it was empty. Very good service. Cantarito is $23!!! It was delicious, but I can't pay that again. The ceviche was delicious. The rice and beans are good. The salsa is not spicy but has good flavor. The tacos have handmade tortillas which are good but the carne can use some salt. The chorizo can was good. Horchata drinks are a good size and are delicious.“
“I live in Columbia SC, for work reasons, I go to Charlotte NC once a month, since I went to Los Reyes the first time, I have become accustomed to going to eat there every time I go to Charlotte NC, very good food and very good customer service.“
“Went a few years ago with one of my kids. We did a mukbang and tried a few of them empanadas. My favorite by far was their most unique in my opinion- guava and cheese! I also tried their spinach which was regular and not sure which meat one my daughter got. Service was fine, nice enough. We sat outside and that was good. The vibe of the food hall is hectic and busy but also kind of trendy. Food prices reflect that vibe.“
“This place was absolutely delicious. It was my first time trying it and for a busy Saturday it was great service and time on getting my friend and I’d order out. It was great and I enjoyed the food. I recommend the nachos, with pulled chicken, and get them loaded with the guacamole, queso, and refried beans. Get nachos and they have deals on margs too on Saturday!“
“I lived in AZ over 50 years and had access to some amazing tamales. One bite transported me back to Tucson. I'm so glad I got a mixed dozen- pork with green sauce, chicken with red sauce, and cheese with jalapeños. Sounds so good I may have another one for lunch!“
“Loved everything I got from here. The cabeza is so tender. And I don't know what it was about the burrito, but it was amazing. The red and green sauces both have a little kick which is nice. Just wish I had come to the place earlier in my trip!!“
“Lunch at Anita's Mexican Grill. If you haven't been here, you're missing out. They are only open 11am until 2:30 pm so it's definately just a lunch place. The quantity of meat they give you in these tacos is unreal, especially for the price ! I got the carne asada taco on a corn tortilla ($4). The meat was a bit overcooked, but had a ton of flavor. Plus just LOOK at how much meat they give you ! I couldn't fold the taco, it was that much meat !!! I ended up eating all the meat I could inside the taco and then using a fork to eat the rest that would not fit inside. I got a chili relleno special ($9.50) which came with either a hardshell or flour tortilla with either shredded chicken or ground beef with rice on the side. I got the shredded chicken. It was nice and juicy and had nice flavor. Just look at how stuffed it is ! These came with chips and salsa too. Hubby got one beef hard shelled taco and one chicken soft shelled taco. This came with chips and salsa. They have fountain drinks with free refills. The seating area is small. However, they have both high chairs and low chairs (See photo). We came at 1:10pm and lunch was starting to die down, so we were able to get a table. However, I had read online that starting at Noon the line is out the door and seating is scarce. Highly recommend for getting alot of good food for the money spent. Orders are taken at the counter then they call your name. The only thing I did not like were that the people behind the counter were wearing a mask. If someone on their staff is sick, they should not be serving food. The masks also prevent genuine interaction with the customer. FYI..Everything is given to you "to go" whether you plan to eat there or not.“
“I’m from Southern California born and raised and have been looking for a good breakfast burrito. All these people that say that Rhino place or whatever it’s called has good breakfast burritos, I’m sorry but that place is very very average to my palette. But to each their own. Señor Taco surpassed my expectations. It’s was sooooooo so good. I got the eggs, hash browns, cheese, beans, rice, bacon and salsa in there and it was amazing. Highly recommend.“
“The food is pretty good. It's not the Americanized-Mexican lettuce and tomato slop you'll oftentimes get. It's more artisan Mexican that leans towards authenticity. If you like micheladas, I don't reccomed them as they left much to be desired. There was only one server on staff with a full dining room. Having been here several times, I realize this isn't the typical experience. Definitely worth a visit.“
“This is a small restaurant that has a small store attached to it. If you're looking for Hispanic products you can't find at other stores this may be the place. It's like a corner store. Not full shopping. Anywho the food is fantastic! The food is already cooked. But if you're looking for another item.on the menu they make it right in front of you. Parking is tight. Not a full restaurant Parking. They do however have dine in seating. Fresh made juices. Definitely a place to try out. You ❤️ affordable Spanish food? Authenticity made hispanic food low cost. Love it!Parking: About 15 spaces. It's a plaza.“
“Wow! I wasn’t expecting anything great out of this lil joint! Still talking about the chicken quesadilla and the steak tacos. The food was great! Wasn’t expecting to pay what we paid for some quick lunch food, but guess it made it up for the food being great! As long as the greatness meets the dollar sign, it’s all good and this place did that.“
“Taco Tuesday is one of the best days to come to 37 sol, surprisingly today it was not to busy & the staff had nothing but smiles on their faces.I was greeted instantly and sat. I sat at a table in the middle of the restaurant which I was nervous about but the staff did not disappoint!!!!!! I had Natalya as my server which she was excellent/fast abd made sure she took very good care of us, Martha helped her run her food, which she had a great personality. The food was great along with the woman who was singing!Food: chips and salsa which they have multiple options we chose houseTuna lolispecial menu tacos. 37soldid not disappoint ( don’t forget there delicious drinks )“
“Excellent place to eat the authentic flavor of Mexico. In a family environment. Very tasty food, good service. And they are very honest in their prices, or if you forget a personal item they will take care of it for you until you return. My daughters and I have been enjoying their meals for almost 9 years, especially the tacos. 100% recommended.“
“they are very professional and good is delicious staff is very nice but I did have one problem my first time going there we never got seated waited over an hour and they kept saying soon or five more minutes when all they had to say was we can't sit you people tonight it was five of us so I took it up on myself and told everyone let's order and leave no one still didn't acknowledge us to even say we apologize or nothing now that was very unprofessional but all in all I love the food and how nice the staff was and I will go back but hopefully we can be seated next time thank you DORIS ANTHONY oh and that was on a Friday Feb.23rd“
“They have good tacos there but they are small I usually eat 3 I ordered 4 and I could've ate 5 honestly also the salsas were spicy !?and that was just the best thing. The menu is kid friendly they have tenders and fries which was great !The inside is small so there Is like 3 tables butThe lady there was really nice and made sure to get our drinks to us and ask if we needed anything. We will definitely be back to eat here if we are ever in charlotte again.“
“I love this little spot. My partner and I frequent this establishment maybe twice a month. They have $2.50 tacos on Tuesdays. They are always really yummy. Fresh, authentic. Always good customer service. It's time for them to update the decor, but other than that, the food and service is amazing.“
“This food truck is a hidden gem! I ordered the Mini Quesadilla with chicken and Sope Campechanco with homemade Horchata to drink. As I waited for my food, the line of customers grew longer, confirming my belief that I had made the right choice. Something was bringing a lot of people to this food truck, so I was eager to try it for myself. While I was waiting, I took a sip of my giant horchata (they use huge cups!). It was so refreshing and I drank it all afternoon. Once I received my food, I opened the tray to the delicious aroma of Mexican spices and cheese. The meats were perfectly seasoned and tender, and the toppings were super fresh. But my absolute favorite part was the rich corn flavor of the sope base.As I scarfed bite after bite, I watched the empty tables fill with workers, businessmen, and random passersby. Everyone was thoroughly enjoying their food and the sunny day. I will definitely be returning!“
“I was skeptical when my brother told me that these were the best enchiladas he’s ever eaten, but now I’m a believer. The salsa, queso, and all the food is to die for. The place was slammed, but we were seated and served quickly for a Saturday night. Will go again for sure!“
“It is a good place to delight our palate, I love MorazanVegetarian options: It is a delight to eat delicious salads and other things you wantParking: Oh enough Parking very goodKid-friendliness: For children, there are special dishes for them that are good.Wheelchair accessibility: You can enter with a wheelchair without problems“
“Amazing place! My husband and I’s first date was at a Mexican restaurant; it’s kind of been our thing ever since! Our favorite tacos are a taco truck in our home town; we love the real thing. This place is it!! Everything was perfect! And the owner came around and spoke and checked on everyone and was so nice! Amazing, authentic food and family owned! Seriously seriously so good!“
