“I wish I had grabbed the bartender’s lady name! She was absolutely amazing, her customer service was beyond - she was checking out from her shift as we got there and I asked for fireball shots she overheard and said I make a mean combo that tastes even better than that, made it and WOW did she deliver!!!! Best whiskey fireball dupe ever. The music was amazing I was singing the whole entire time with good old salsas, and onto the best part, the FOOOOOOD! Amazing, extremely tasty and so muuuuuuch flavor. Not ran down Mexican cheap tasting, the taste was A++++++++++ definitely a new fave spot. Try it! You wont be disappointed.“

“Anita’s has great fajita nachos and fajitas! The chips are really crispy, and the price is affordable, and the portions are really big. The seven of us had more than enough food sharing 4 things: fajita nachos, dinner sized fajitas, eggs+chorizo, chicken quesadilla. Service is fast and the workers are nice. Sadly there is not enough seats for how popular it is, but it’s a great place to stop by for lunch during a road trip:)“

“My wife and I had dinner at the Charlotte location this evening. We had great service from our server Noah, who was very quick to take our drink order and provided attentive service for our entire dinner. We both ordered a Chimichangas (my wife had the chicken and I had the beef). Both were delicious, well seasoned and served hot. (fwiw) noted the staff were sweeping and cleaning the restaurant tables quickly, after a table turned.“

“Dang. I hate to have to update this, but this is not as good as it was. The last 2 visits saw wrong orders, inatentive servers, and similar. Yesterday, ordered my usual, #1, over light, please crisp the bacon. Eggs over cooked, bacon undercooked. Server not to be found. Never a coffee refill. As preparing to leave, they checked on us, and I *politely and quietly* showed them my incomplete meal. They did replace the items, but took a while, and I think the burnt bacon I was presented seemed a little spiteful.“

“Came in to sit down and eat for the first time with my girlfriend and her grandchildren. Food was authentic and very delicious. What impressed me most was that we didn't have to wait long after ordering getting our drinks and food was ready fast.“

What Mexican restaurant doesn't have chips and salsa when you sit down? And for dinner I ordered a taco salad, sans beans, cheese and pico. I subbed rice and mushrooms. I was charged $9.95 for the shell and lettuce, $3 for rice and $4 for mushrooms. I have ordered this veggie alternative for years at several places - never have I been charged $17 for a "salad". Had the waitress mentioned the upcharge at the time I ordered, I could have made a decision to go ahead or to change my order. But she NEVER mentioned the additional cost. Sadly, they lost 3 local customers tonight, as well as being one of the catering / community meetup options we were just discussing 30 minutes earlier. Be fair. Be transparent. Discuss additional costs instead of simply charging and assuming your customers want to pay extra - again, I would have changed my order. Adios Que Onda!“

“This is a really good burrito/bowl for a decent price. Only open during lunch time. I 100% recommend if you're hungry in Charlotte between 11am n 3pm. Things to know, cash is cheaper than card here, this is take out only and there is not really any seating. You can find seating around the area or outside at the Hilton across the street.“

“My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here on 10/24/2025, and we could not have been more impressed. We reserved the rooftop so it was a private area but when we arrived they even offered to make room for us inside due to it being chilly. We ended up staying upstairs but the gesture was so kind. The food was incredible as it always is when we dine in and the service was incredible!! The staff was so kind and attentive that no one was left wanting anything. When I talked to the staff to confirm everything for our event, I asked if they still had their fried chickpea appetizer, and was informed that they no longer served this. I told them it was no problem and I was just curious since it was so delicious. To my surprise, when we showed up, the chef had gone out of their way to purchase the ingredients needed and prepared the fried chickpeas special for us!!! I was truly floored at the level of care, kindness, and service that we received. I have always recommended Taco Boy LoSo as a great spot for a meal, but I would recommend them to anyone hosting an event. We truly could not have been happier!!! Thank you, Taco Boy!“
