“Exceptional Mexican food. My carnitas taco was A+ & the tortillas were about as authentic as they get 👍🏻 I was skeptical trying another Mexican restaurant & was pleasantly surprised 👍🏻“

“Anita’s has great fajita nachos and fajitas! The chips are really crispy, and the price is affordable, and the portions are really big. The seven of us had more than enough food sharing 4 things: fajita nachos, dinner sized fajitas, eggs+chorizo, chicken quesadilla. Service is fast and the workers are nice. Sadly there is not enough seats for how popular it is, but it’s a great place to stop by for lunch during a road trip:)“

Still, we enjoyed their food in the past, and we like to support local businesses in our community. First, no more chips and salsa when you sit down ... not even an offering. What Mexican restaurant doesn't have chips and salsa when you sit down? And for dinner I ordered a taco salad, sans beans, cheese and pico. I subbed rice and mushrooms. I was charged $9.95 for the shell and lettuce, $3 for rice and $4 for mushrooms. I have ordered this veggie alternative for years at several places - never have I been charged $17 for a "salad". Had the waitress mentioned the upcharge at the time I ordered, I could have made a decision to go ahead or to change my order. But she NEVER mentioned the additional cost. Sadly, they lost 3 local customers tonight, as well as being one of the catering / community meetup options we were just discussing 30 minutes earlier. Be fair. Be transparent. Discuss additional costs instead of simply charging and assuming your customers want to pay extra - again, I would have changed my order. Adios Que Onda!“

We had great service from our server Noah, who was very quick to take our drink order and provided attentive service for our entire dinner. We both ordered a Chimichangas (my wife had the chicken and I had the beef). Both were delicious, well seasoned and served hot. (fwiw) noted the staff were sweeping and cleaning the restaurant tables quickly, after a table turned.“

“Simply in love with Frida's Mexica in Pineville! What an incredible experience! The food is unbelievably good — extremely flavorful, well-seasoned, full of character, and made with a care that you can feel in every bite. Everything was delicious.

The atmosphere is wonderful, super cozy, beautiful, and lively in just the right way. There was even a DJ, which made the night even more special and fun, creating an incredible atmosphere. You want to stay there for hours.

Even with the restaurant full, the service was very good. The only detail was the wait for the food, which took about 40 minutes, but honestly, when it arrived at the table, it was totally worth it.

“nt lunch w family great food , I took mc donald for my 5 year old autistic son waiter came to me saying i couldnt bring outside food i explain situation he said it was policy i asked for manager ubaldo came and talked to us that it was food code standard he was proffesional but I didnt like the situation we was put in bc we go to eat many restaurants never had this issue my son is autistic picky eater and had this happen we felt uncomfortable my son started to cry they have to have autism awareness , after that service was great but be more careful how treat people“

“What a Fantastic Burrito! The line moves fast and the experience is unique. Chris greeted everyone with a smile and explained the options and the process. This place has fresh meats and vegetables whether you get a burrito or bowl. The flavors blend well as you can taste the quality. I got a large burrito, there was so much food in one tortilla I was surprised it was able to close. I opted for a local root beer by Uncle Scott's and was pleased with how good it is. There is plenty of seating in the atrium above and it's no wonder everyone speaks highly of this place. Amazing place to get lunch.“

“I came in to try their version of Pollo fritto- fried chicken. This chicken was well marinated- fried to perfection and the sauces- 1 avocado salsa and 1 salsa picante were heavenly 😋 they underestimated me as they were unaware I am fluent in Spanish so I quickly changed the interaction ordering my food in Spanish and we both smiled and chatted while I waited for my food. This place is so welcoming and warm with great authentic dishes and I love the fact they make tortillas from scratch! The taste is so much better and natural!“
