“Being Ecuadorian myself, I wanted to try this spot. The food did not disappoint. The service was great and the only reason it did not get a five star was I ordered a Churrasco. That is supposed to be skirt steak. I didn't get skirt steak. It was really good but not what I was expecting. I hope in the future they expand their menu to include a few other Ecuadorian specialties like a Caldo de Bola.“
“We had to spend an overnight in Charlotte near the airport and we found the perfect place to eat. Big selection of Latin American food with excellent seafood choices. The staff was very pleasant, the calamari were fresh and the steak perfectly cooked and seasoned. Loved the yucca and maduro plantains.“
“First of all, congratulations for the good service they have in this place and for the good supplies they use. I recently went to eat a green noodle, I usually haven't found where they sell a delicious green noodle, until now. I can say that it was too delicious, delicious seasoning, everything was on point. I totally recommend eating at this restaurant. ??“
“I have to say, this place serves up the absolute best pupusas, tamales, atoles, and empanadas in all of Charlotte. They’ve truly set the bar high, leaving other restaurants in the dust. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which only adds to the experience. Without a doubt, the Salvadoran food here is top-notch and unmatched in Charlotte!“
“I was in Chrlotte for the basketball game in Spectrum theater & I picked up this restaurant because it popped out due to it's Latin American Branding as compared to very common routine of Mexican restaurant.I simply loved Sabor. It's a unique Latin American restaurant. It is not a fast food restaurant.I tried Street food from the Menu, "Arepas Tradiconal" & "Gordita", both were delicious & fresh.Yuka fries were tasty, especially with their sauce.Chicken Fajitas soup had a unique taste & a must try.Best of all was their Freshly made Guacamole, I haven't had such a delicious FRESHLY made Guacamole ever. And the chips were very crispy & fresh. Please don't forget to try fresh Salsa from the Salsa bar, Verde was the best.I loved Chrurros & unique Guava Pineapple Empanadas for Dessert. Chrurros was filled with chocolate. This restaurant is definitely a must visit to enjoy Latin American food.“
“I lived in AZ over 50 years and had access to some amazing tamales. One bite transported me back to Tucson. I'm so glad I got a mixed dozen- pork with green sauce, chicken with red sauce, and cheese with jalapeños. Sounds so good I may have another one for lunch!“
“Super clean and friendly. The food was fresh and delicious. I had never tried Guatemalan food before and I must say its wonderful and interesting. The tamale was similar to a Mexican tamale but wrapped in a banana leaf and served with a cabbage salad. The pupusas was tasty. Tried 3 things, $10.45. All cooked to order and totally fresh. They have a beautiful bakery as well. The place is so clean. All restaurants should aspire to their standards.“
“I’m from Southern California born and raised and have been looking for a good breakfast burrito. All these people that say that Rhino place or whatever it’s called has good breakfast burritos, I’m sorry but that place is very very average to my palette. But to each their own. Señor Taco surpassed my expectations. It’s was sooooooo so good. I got the eggs, hash browns, cheese, beans, rice, bacon and salsa in there and it was amazing. Highly recommend.“
“New to Charlotte and 1st time here. The flavors are robust! Everything was delish and to top it off, they have a salsa bar!! We tried all of them, I think there were 7, and they all had their own unique flavor. I did manage to pick out my top faves, but they were all good! This place will become a go to for us!!Parking: Easy getting in. Spaces a little tight, harder getting out!“
“I’ve been coming here since 2017 and it has never disappointed. We got the special tempura salmon taco and a Tav-Ah-Roo Taco (Tuna Wasabi). Both were incredible!Complimentary chips and salsa for table are amazing! This place is a staple in NODA.“
“This place was absolutely delicious. It was my first time trying it and for a busy Saturday it was great service and time on getting my friend and I’d order out. It was great and I enjoyed the food. I recommend the nachos, with pulled chicken, and get them loaded with the guacamole, queso, and refried beans. Get nachos and they have deals on margs too on Saturday!“
“I really enjoyed my turkey sandwich and fries. It was delicious. I stopped here cause the hotel food was just horrific and I was staying there. It was clean inside and staff were really nice. There is a pool right outside and a video game section. You cannot go wrong with the turkey and fries!“
“I did take out and it was closing to closing but they were super nice and I am a anxious person and especially going somewhere I don’t know and she took her time with me listening and getting me my little extras I just really appreciate the great service my new fav taco “
“Juanita’s is good First of all this spot is easy to miss, but it’s right off of Brookshire and so worth it. You walk in and they’ve got this cute little dessert bar to the left and maybe five tables spread out and a cute little bar with a cute little bartender behind it. I got the stewed chicken which was so delicious and filling. It came with rice and refried beans a salad and plantains. I don’t know what magic he put in the beans but like I use it as like a sauce over the rice and dipped it in the chicken and I’m telling you, I have not had a lunch like this for $11 ever before in my life. I was in and out within 45 minutes, which is enough time to grab lunch and head back to the office. And the empanadas! Got three of them and regret nothing. It’s great to still have places like this with delicious, quick, and healthy meals available.“
“Their food was excellent. It was everything I was hoping for and more. Very good corn tamales both fried and not fried. Very good plantains just like homemade. I got another food item with refried beans, cheese and avocado but I don’t remember if it’s called a baleada. And finally, their melon drink was fantastic. Definitely will go again“
