“Wow Papi Rico has many delicious plates but the standout is without question their tacos trompo al pastor. The pork is perfectly marinated, tender, and carved fresh with just the right balance of smoky and sweet flavors. Each bite is layered with authenticity—from the juicy meat to the subtle char and the bright pop of pineapple that brings it all together.
The tortillas are warm and fresh, the toppings are simple yet flavorful, and everything tastes thoughtfully prepared. On top of that, the service truly elevates the experience—Regina and Natalia were attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed.

Our waitress/bar tender Estela was amazing, she knew her drinks and carter to our wants in our drinks, she describe in detail everything on menu and what best to eat & how long everything took to cook, since some food items are cooked to your order needs, some are cooks that very morning! “The restaurant has an Ecuadorian menu. All the food is homemade and served in good portions. When I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and a nice welcome. This happens a lot when I go to South American restaurants. My server made certain that I had everything to make my dining experience great. No hurry at this place. I don't want their score on Google to go down... but if I want to leave them a message with the best intentions, whenever I call to order it's not on time, when I enter the restaurant it seems that They are notified that I have already arrived for my order and until then they begin to do it, the pick-up time that they tell me on the phone is the same as what I do when I arrive and I sit down to wait. “This is one of those places where you know the food is going to be bomb. They usually have two individuals working the grill and taking orders. I have not had their tacos, but the burrito I had was delicious. Its a super convenient location (inside gas station), so you can fill up your gas tank, and have a wide variety of drinks to choose from.

I lost my phone in Charlotte and and Uber driver that didn’t speak English found it walking down the road. Since he only spoke Spanish I went to the bar and Nohemi not only talked to him she negotiated the return of my phone. NOT ONLY THAT. She came out side in the 22 degree weather to help me translate with the guy!

“This is my 4th time here and I always get the same thing because of the best steak juicy pieces. Great service friendly staff. I have always had a to go. I highly recommend this place. The steak I have is called “Botana De Carne asada onpollo steak” and this time am also trying their mushroom chicken based on their recommendation.“

“As it was my first time going, I wasn't sure what to expect. It's a fried chicken establishment much like KFC and Bojangles. The difference is that the chicken is, IMO, better than the competition. Better (lightly) seasoned, and not overly greasy. As a side dish, I tried the plantains which I never had before. Not bad! And I guess that because I never tried them, I was unprepared for the flavor and texture. I, personally would like for them to open a location in Monroe, NC.“
