“I was looking for a restaurant for my wife and I for our anniversary. I always wanted to eat here when I lived in Plaza but finally remembered to come since it's a special occasion.Our serve was Dylan and he didn't disappoint with service and recommendations. Ambiance was very Christmas-like and personal especially since it was the holiday's, which felt very private and personal.For starters, I had the escargot and my wife had the Apply Begger's Purse. I was a little surprised with the Gorgonzola taste since I was used to copious amounts of traditional garlic with the dish, but it was surprisingly tasty. The purse was also a good mixture of sweet and savory.I tend to be an adventurous eater and he recommended the ostrich since it was the special for the weekend while my wife had also had the special which was halibut. The Ostrich wasn't very gamy at all the was a mixture of beef and duck tase which took me for a pleasant surprise and the Halibut was cooked perfectly and wasn't very dry.For desert we tried their Flourless Molten Lava Trifle and it was he right amount of sweet.Overall, it was an amazing experience will highly recommend for any special occasion or just date night. Will be back for sure!”

“When you travel, you have to get pizza right??? Searching the Charlotte area near my hotel, I came across the most enticing photos of pizzas loaded with toppings.... To. The. Edge! I had to give them a shot. A short drive over (would have been even shorter but I ordered when schools were getting out for the day). They are located in a shopping Plaza with plenty of parking. Very spacious inside with lots of seating. I was immediately greeted by someone tending to the front area and happily greeted again at the pickup area. I ordered a small meat lovers, the single meatball, the creamy parmesan (because I saw the raving reviews), and some additional hot marinara. Pizza was hot and fresh and looked oh so good. The crispy pepperoni cups, the ham, bacon, sausage...my mouth was watering and I could not wait to taste this. Finally time to eat, I could taste everything!!! The sauce was just the right amount to allow the flavors of the meat and cheese to shine through. The meatball was huge and delicious! The parmesan- get extra. You will need some for your next order of wings. I sent pictures to my family and Mom requested a pizza too. So I will be back so she can experience her own! These leftovers are going to be the best. I just know it!”

“We were in town for one night and We didn't have reservations but when we arrived, they said the wait time was 45-55mins. We waited close to 90mins for a table while others passed us by. I think they forgot about us until I got up to check- then they said 'sorry about the wait, we will seat you next.'Other than that, the food was delicious & our waiter Jason was very nice.WOULD RECOMMEND MAKING A RESERVATION”

“My daughter in law, Melody as soon I arrived in Monroe, NC, the next day we go to Charlotte and visit Vicente Bakery. Herman, customer service is five star, food wise, every croissant is made perfectly flakiestly deliciously, breakfast sándwiches to the top, coffees…..all around service, atmosphere, everything about this place makes us go back for the day and also the chance to bring their goodies to my family back in Florida. “By far my favorite restaurant in Charlotte. I go here every chance I get when I want to feel fancy and spoil myself. Food is AMAZING. Atmosphere is top tier. Service is unmatched. “Really, really solid option especially during Savor. For $50/person, you get a three course meal. And these aren’t skimpy portions either like what some restaurants do during Queens Feast. These are proper, regular sized dishes.Every restaurant can choose how they want to approach Savor. I liked how 300 set up their menu with one old trustee option (current menu) and one new option for each course. Between my partner and I, we were able to try everything. Here’s our take:StartersBaked Goat Cheese (old trustee): I see why this is a fan favorite. The cheese is baked with good olive oil, sun dried tomatoes, and garlic. Comes with a baguette, but I preferred dipping my biscuit instead (more on that below).Biscuit Flight (new item): Comes with three biscuits!! As well as three savory dips that are made in house. The dips were okay but as aforementioned using the goat cheese like a spread was the move for me.MainsSesame Salmon (old trustee): I actually make a dish similar to this at home, so it didn’t blow my mind but my partner liked it well enough.Roasted Half Chicken (new item): Had a nice roasted, crispy skin. Came with a garlic jus gravy and veggies. If you are carbed out from the apps, this is a good option. Again, simple but good.DessertIce Cream Sandwich (old trustee): If I could handle my caffeine after 12pm, I would have definitely eaten more of this. The espresso ice cream paired so well with the maple oatmeal cookie. Glad to know it’s a regular on the menu so I can come back and get it for an early lunch.Cheesecake (new item): Get the ice cream sandwich.”

“This restaurant is absolutely amazing. First of all, it is beautiful and in a very convenient place. The waiter was just so nice and owned the restaurant. He seemed calm, happy, and ready to serve. For the fun of it, our waiter decided to let my brother serve our table, showing him how to serve in this particular restaurant. At the end of our dine in, he took off money from our order because of my brother serving our family. He was very funny and we had a great time. On top of this, it was my dad’s birthday today, and he had a marvelous time watching my brother serve our family and eating his very delicious chickpea and quinoa chicken. “Really cool spot. Lots of dry ice effects, and creative presentation. The food is really good, too (the most important part). I had the Cajun grilled oysters that were fantastic. So much flavor in one bite. And I have no idea what kind of sauce they give you with them, but it pairs really nicely with everything. I, also, had the Kings crab company dish with a decent portion of King crab, a small salad and some potatoe wedges. The crab was cooked perfect and tasted great with the garlic butter, which had diced garlic in it. A really nice pairing with the buttery crab meat. A bit over priced for what it was, however. Basic potato wedges, with no sauce, and a pretty small basic salad. For dessert I had the Godiva brownie with ice cream. Again, amazing brownie. Super soft and moist, and not so rich that you couldn't eat it all. However, the 4 bites of ice cream just isn't enough to go with the size of the brownie. Also, no arm towels or even wet naps after the oysters and crab. Overall a great meal and experience, though. Just a couple of kinks that I feel could be addressed.”

Immediately sold on the space once seeing all of the different room locations where we not only provide our guests with an experience they wouldn't forget but also "Wow Factors". The event Manager Alyssa Corbin went above and beyond with providing details, suggestions and answering all questions throughout the planning process. She made the planning process for 400+ guests easier than ever. She was also accommodating with our vision for the space. Thank you for everything Alyssa.The evening of the event we were greeted by Ben who was our main contact for the night of the event. Another above and beyond service as he was everywhere throughout the entire night ensuring everything was flowing. At one point I saw him walking thru the crowd to handle something and he hit a few dance moves with the crowd, this type of energy by staff is always appreciated and enjoyable. The entire staff was GREAT from Maddie, Whitney, Franklin, Myriah, Eli and Mariah. Their service was top notch as all guests were able to be served in a timely manner but overall a fun experience.This was my first time meeting the owner Tom. He was extremely pleasant and at one point we were trying to figure out our additional sound we wanted in the front of the venue. Tom came to me and gave a suggestion, after his suggestion he said "but you don't have to do it that way". You don't meet many owners who will give you options and during what could have been a panic moment Tom gave the best suggestion but also was trusting of the decision we were going to make (we went with his suggestion by the way).The food...let's just say the leftover food I had the opportunity to take home and definitely enjoyed the next day. The food options seemed endless from review of the menu and with what we selected we were not only satisfied but highly impressed. (The food is GOOD).The Hamilton Event Space gets a 10, two thumbs up and standing ovation. It's rare, especially after the pandemic to patronize a venue where everything is TOP TIER! I ordered the cheesesteak hash brown bowl with a side of grits, and it was DELICIOUS! It was very flavorful as expected, and the onions give it an extra kick. “Hi Wire is a great place for a wide variety of FREE games. Ping pong, air hockey, soccer pool, connect 4. I always love a space with gender neutral bathrooms and wheel chair accessibility. The beer selection and calendar of events is very robust as well.An area of improvement is using gender neutral pronouns for the patrons. I noticed rainbow flags all over the space but I was misgendered by the bar tender which didn’t feel affirming. I gave the space 4 stars because I recommend using they pronouns if you don’t know how someone identifies.”

Just a typical spicy tuna roll with tempura crumbs on top.The mermaid roll was spectacular and super tasty. I loved the tempura batter on the outside which gave it a nice crunch and all the ingredients inside paired really well together. 10/10 sushi roll.The spider roll was not like any spider rolls I have had in my lifetime. The chicken bites while a good portion size were very greasy so my elder child picked off the batter. We were told we could order as much as we wanted and have 2 hours to eat. Any wasted food we didn't consume we would be charged per pound. The food selection was the K pot meals and the BBQ. We could order from both menus but $5 would be extra for the BBQ. Some of the meats such as prime rib or lamb were sliced paper thin, as were the soft tofu, all cooked in less than a minute and were not satisfying. The steak and short ribs were a decent size and fairly tender. Vegetables took the longest time to cook and I suggest to cook them first before one cooks thicker foods. I tried the mushroom soup and didn't like it. But my dining mate ordered the spicey Thai Tom yum soup and liked it. The chicken bulgoki just ok. Overall some items we ordered were satisfying ,others not so much. There was a sauce bar which also had French fries and small fried chicken tenders, all average tasting. There are vegetarian and vegan choices for soups, vegetables and noodles. Plenty of Beef, chicken, seafood , soy and pork items to choose from. Although the restaurant is clean the loud pounding repetitive background instrumental music was not conductive for a relaxing meal. We were glad we experienced this type of dining but decided once was enough for us. It can be a bit overwhelming when raw items placed on a small table area are waiting to be cooked. I suggest get a few items, cook and eat and order more as you wish Our meal per person for both hot pot and BBQ, was $35 .”
