From the cake to the OCPs, s’mores brownies, pop tarts, and banana pudding cookies - every single item was incredible. Our guests could not stop talking about them all night long. The desserts were not only delicious but such a memorable part of our wedding day. Cris and her team are beyond talented, professional, and so wonderful to work with. “Limited donuts but great flavors! Ordered a brown butter 🧈🤎 donut which was truly amazing; it's a semi-dry almost biscuit-like base with a to-die-for glaze, YUM, perfect with coffee.

Also ordered a strawberry 🍓 speciality donut, missed the name but was pretty much an apple fritter. Love the idea but a bit too sweet, wouldn't order that one again personally!

Staff shoutout: there were two rude ladies in front of me, rude to the other guests, the cashier, and the server - both employees remained very kind and honestly went above in service to make them happy.“

“We discovered Amelie's while walking back to our hotel from the St. Patrick's Day street fair in Uptown, and the moment we walked in the door we knew we'd hit the jackpot. It wasn't just the pleasant smell of coffee that pleased the senses, it was also the funky design of the cafe itself and of course, the amazing selection of goodies that greeted us in case.

Everything looked so good, we'd love to have sampled one of each. Since that wouldn't have been a good idea, I decided on the Key Lime tart while my wife opted for a slice of chocolate butter cheesecake. But since one just wasn't enough, we also got a brownie cheesecake brownie to split! All were amazing, especially the brownie cheesecake! We can't wait for our next trip to Charlotte so we can sample some of the other offerings.

“The Best Crepe in Charlotte! I have been coming to Crepe Bistro for almost 5 years now. It has become my daughter and I favorite spot for our Sunday morning father/daughter time. She always orders her "usual" nutella crepe with chocolate ice cream. Even when we call to order for pick up, she asks for the "usual" and the super friendly staff knows what that is❤️. This wonderful place will be part of our memories through our whole life. She was about 10 when they opened, and now at 15 she is driving me to Crepe Bistro (permit driving practice). The rest of the family has tried the Elvis Presley, Strawberry cheesecake, Belgian waffle, and we love them. Kind staff, and great food for the whole family. Simply the Best Crepe in Charlotte.“

“I think the word “cafe” is confusing. It’s a watering hole with great atmosphere and attitude.
A food truck came and provided great food.
I was welcomed by multiple people not just the bartender! I felt like a member right away. Next time I won’t wear my dress shirt and have jeans and a Tshirt.“

“A good experience every time! Jason, our server, was excellent. He had a natural ability to maintain contact during our meal without making too many trips. Despite how busy this place is, the food is usually excellent, and my guests and I are always seated promptly. I will return time and time again!“

“I didn’t want to say I don’t recommend… however I don’t think I will be going back. Very nice vibe, the stuff was accommodating. My problem comes in about my order. They had to remake it and it still wasn’t correct. I cannot understand how you mess up twice on a salad. I felt the energy change the second time around. Even though they were polite it felt forced. They read it back both times and failed both times. For 65 dollars for 3 salads it should’ve been done correctly. I’ve had better experiences for cheaper and I’m a foodie!“

“This place is pretty good. The interior decor and atmosphere are fun and unusual. The drinks were fair. Pastry a little tougher than anticipated.
Service runs slow as they need to figure out their system. First you get the pastries, then at the end of the line you order drinks, which is what takes the longest and should instead be first. Fix this.
Worth dropping in for some treats though not the best you’ll have in town.“

This hidden gem is tucked away on Pineville Matthews road and is the perfect spot for everyone. Indoor/Outdoor seating available. Love supporting this small business and hope they expand to southend/uptown in the near future!“

“Great food, great service, but if you’re a larger party and are seated in the enclosed patio area, take heed that it will be extremely uncomfortable with the summer heat. They only have a couple of small portable fans that are absolutely inadequate for the total space, and the ceiling fans (supposedly set to the incorrect direction) didn’t help much. Even the dining room wasn’t much better. I know it’s been hot, but if the customer is uncomfortable I can only imagine the staff.“
