“Felt like i was in the village in NYC! Food was awesome! The best Italian I’ve had in a while! The homade pastas were to die for! Out of short rib but had chicken piccata and bronzino! So so good! The Burrata was awesome and the oysters, yellowtail and were so fresh and the sauces were key! Need to know how to make them! Tiramisu was yummy! Wine selection was great! Our server was so fun and loved the atmosphere! We will be back! Worth the car ride from the lake! Don’t forget the charcuterie! Lol“

“Delicious, authentic Italian cuisine.
We had the stuffed mushrooms to start for the table, 2 orders and they evaporated. They were so good.
We had a party of 6 and we all finished our food and the portions are large y'all. It was so delicious.
I'm used to restaurants cutting corners in obvious ways, like using frozen veggies for example. Not here. I had broccoli in my dish and it was fresh, sounds small but it's a detail to be appreciated!
The service was fantastic, jovial, friendly and attentive. Shout out to the entire staff.
I would definitely come back! The place was bustling on a Saturday evening, even at 6 pm so I would recommend making a reservation for the weekends. Easy parking.
Support a small family run business, the food experience was amazing. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a bite.

“A mystery. Outstanding ambiance, looks and feels like nice casual cafes we ate at in Milan and Tuscany. Once inside can't believe it's in an outdoor mall in NC. Friendly service. Chicken marsala with mushrooms as good as it gets. Hearts of palm salad not on many menus but was delightful. The customers seemed to be enjoying a relaxed, quality dining experience without the pretense of a fancy place or buzz of a large busy place. The mystery-why was it only half full on a Friday night?“

“Great food, great service, but if you’re a larger party and are seated in the enclosed patio area, take heed that it will be extremely uncomfortable with the summer heat. They only have a couple of small portable fans that are absolutely inadequate for the total space, and the ceiling fans (supposedly set to the incorrect direction) didn’t help much. Even the dining room wasn’t much better. I know it’s been hot, but if the customer is uncomfortable I can only imagine the staff.“

“We went to North Italia at lunch time. The restaurant was not busy but our server did not do his job very well. We ordered appetizers which did not arrive until we asked why they hadn't arrived. And then they arrived at the same time as the entree. We had to repeatedly ask for water glasses to be refilled and the wine that was ordered never arrived until we asked for it a second time. The food was amazing. We spoke to a manager who was rightly concerned and promised that retraining would happen. We like to help a place to grow and be better so we tried to be constructive with our comments. It was still a nice lunch but could have been so much better with proper service.“

I went this past Saturday for The Queens Feast and once again I was not disappointed with service or the food. Did you talk to a manager while you were there about your issues? It takes a lot of humanity and courage to address issues in person & in real time. When you do, often a resolution can be found. Try it out the next time your disappointed. I understand reviewing a place for poor service, food, etc., but attacking a person by name is low class. Btw, who uses begrudgingly to write a review? Nice word but, seriously?“

“I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, and I especially want to recognize the excellent service from managers Camilo and Jon.
A few weeks ago, I was dining with my party, and unfortunately, we were seated near an air vent that was blowing extremely cold air. Camilo and Jon immediately noticed that we were uncomfortable and came over to make sure we were okay. They were attentive, courteous, and genuinely concerned about making our experience better.
Camilo even offered me some warm soup and had the air adjusted to help provide some relief. That level of personal attention and care really stood out to me. It showed that the management team wasn't simply focused on getting through the day—they truly cared about their guests' comfort and experience.
Because of how Camilo and Jon handled the situation, I would absolutely return. What could have been an uncomfortable experience was turned into a positive one because of their quick response and great customer service.

Guido Lombardi, owner of Impero Wine Distributors, was also present, suggesting and sharing wines that perfectly complemented the dishes we prepared. It added a wonderful touch to the evening. The market itself has an amazing selection of take and bake options, perfect for a gourmet meal at home. I sat at the bar for almost 4 hours and she was so attentive to all guests while also being able to hold a genuine conversation with me. I went to the bar frustrated over my delayed trip but truly feel so grateful to have crossed paths with such a kind person so willing to share conversation and talk about life with a total stranger. The food was delicious, the drinks were wonderful, but it was Betty that made my experience one that turned my delayed trip around completely.
