“We just discovered Due Amici in March 2024. Wow!! Drove half an hour to try it based on reading a review. It was WORTH it. The pizza is best we've found in the area. We love the Buffalo chicken with a substantial amount of chicken on it. Yum. And the red sauce if you go that route is fantastic. Great crust too. Flavorful with every bite. We tried it, and then a week later ordered 9 pies for a church event and everyone loved it. Like thin crust cheese pizza? It'll rock your world. Atmosphere is average to worn in appearance, but ignore that and enjoy the tasty treat headed to your palette.“

“My friend took me here for dinner while I was in town and it did not disappoint! You can dress casually, or dress it up for a special occasion. The service was great and made wonderful recommendations. I highly suggest the white garlic bread for a starter and the vodka rigatoni. The food was delicious and we didn't feel rushed. They do validate parking in the attached ramp, but only up to two hours.Vegetarian options: They can make many of these dishes vegetarian friendly.“

Since True Crafted Pizza at Stonecrest closed in 2023, this is the closest we’ve found.The outside dining doesn’t have much atmosphere, but it was a lovely spring evening in Charlotte, so very pleasant. Our waiter (feel bad that I forgot his name) was wonderful - just the right amount of attention without overdoing it.The braised short rip pizza was very good; my only quibble with it, was the short rib was a little dry. Still delicious, though. The Margherita pizza is perfect, and the Eggplant Parmagiana (not pictured) with spaghetti was good 1 and a lot of food!My wife thought the tiramisu was wonderful, our girls polished off the hot chocolate chip brownie, and their vanilla/chocolate/honey bourbon tickled my taste buds just like a real Italian gelato.“

Everything was fantastic. shared warm, home-made potato chips with blue cheese; she had the house salad and I had a Caesar; she had the meatloaf and we the salmon with asparagus and cauliflower purée, and we shared the bread pudding on cream anglaise. Our waitress, Angela, was also great. We're new to Charlotte, having been here about a year, and we love the restaurant scene. “Ana & Christian were amazing! Both made us some delish whiskey sours (NY style) . We’ve been in before and the atmosphere is always on point, the playlist is fire, the food is amazing. We recommend their 800 signature sauce for wings, chicken cesar salad is one of a kind, and the honey badger pizza. Al the pizzas are good but the honey badger is a spicy perfection . Perfect spot for a date night with your sweet thang, or friends, again the atmosphere is a perfect setting, and the service is the icing !“

“I tried this spot using Uber Eats for dinner after a late night with work. I ordered the kids pizza sticks (came with sauce), brussels sprouts salad, and a can of grapefruit soda (not pictured). The meal was filling. I need to stop by to try some pizza. The sticks were hot, and the salad & soda were cold on delivery.“

(Be careful with portions since a friend ordered a calzone and it could have fed 3 people - they definitely should cut the portions). “Salud is still good after all these years, but they've transformed for the better. Admittedly, I always order delivery from them even though I live in the neighborhood, so I can't speak to the current in-house service or the ambiance. But as for the food, it is my lazy night pizza go-to, and it never disappoints. My favorite is the El Gordo with pepperoni. It is the quintessential meat-lovers pizza taken to the next level with hot honey and whipped ricotta. I usually eat half and then save the rest for lunch the next day. It heats up nicely in the microwave or the oven. In true Salud fashion, there are still many vegan options, making this an excellent place to come if you have a friend group with varying dietary needs or for a meatless Monday. Salad continues to be a NoDa staple, and for good reason, you won't be disappointed.“

I'm not sure why this location is considered Charlotte, you will take the Mount-Holly Huntersville exit, it's 25 min from my home in Charlotte and I'm in the Cotswold/South Park area. I was intrigued to discover Johnny Brascos Italian/NY style Restaurant off Riverbend Rd as a hidden gem in a well appointed shopping center. If classic cocktails like old fashions, or negronis done right are your thing, go see Alex at the bar! I like how comfortable and casual and non rushed the vibe feels. Husband got baked ziti & I got the chicken capers that came with a side of angel hair pasta with one of the best cedar salads I’ve ever had. The pancetta bits taste like pieces of rubber The salad with the fried chicken has an almost un-eatable batter and is burned black and has no taste. The food was delicious and the servers were very helpful and patient. I did feel it was a bit cramped and the decor and atmosphere needed some work. “I haven't been to Chuck E. Cheese, since I was like 6, but I just took my brother who loves animatronics and the franchise here yesterday and fell in love with how happy and nostalgic it felt being there! The establishment was well kept from the salad bar to the play area, bathrooms and party area. They have a nice variety of food, games and prizes. No tubes to crawl in or a ball pit but a great mix of games to play for all ages and game play styles. The team here was super nice and helpful and we even had a chance to talk to the animatronic maintenance keeper (who also made a special exclusive Munch Jr animatronic!) And picked his brain and the managers a little on the company history and such. Super recommend this place and I really want to come back next time I have some kiddos with me :)Parking: It's in a shopping center so there's a free parking lotKid-friendliness: The most kid friendly place I can think of and it even brought out the little kid in me :)“

“A beautiful restaurant that offers some live music, karaoke or music bingo some select nights. I happened to learn abt the Frank Sinatra impersonator so I took my dad since we both love his music. The show was awesome and my dad truly enjoyed himself. Service was great but like most places short staffed, I was very tickled at the “robotic” waitress that would bring out the food to each table. This place is great for a girls night, date night or just solo. I had the Angela’s Special pizza and it was yummy. My dad got the salmon dish, and then got the salmon pizza to go. This place is definitely worth checking out.“

“First time eating a Hungry Howie's Pizza. We ordered a Howie Special Pizza with a Garlic Herb Crust. My only complaint would have to be the Raw Crunch of the Onions and Peppers. I would prefer a little more cook time on the vegetables. The Crust was very flavorful. Overall it's not a bad pizza, just didn't like the crunch.“

“The meal was exceptional from start to finish. I met a group there but was early and had fresh Italian bread and a Chianti to start at the bar. I looked at the desserts and they looked delectable. Sitting down to dine at the table the waiter took our drinks and went through all the specials. We had a meat and cheese plate to start. I had the Shrimp and Scallop pasta special. The Shrimp were plump and the Scallops a good size. The portion was ample. The photo does not do justice to the beauty and enormous size. Sorry it was blurry.Both the Scallops and the Shrimp were very tender and delicious. The pasta was cooked to perfection. We had great service. I had a berry cake for dessert which was moist and had Blueberry and Raspberry sauce and full of berries. It was quite good. This is the best Portofinos I have been to in town. My only recommendation for improvement is to bring out a dessert tray, I think some people would have brought dessert home. Excellent place and I will be here again!!“

“When you travel, you have to get pizza right??? Searching the Charlotte area near my hotel, I came across the most enticing photos of pizzas loaded with toppings.... To. The. Edge! I had to give them a shot. A short drive over (would have been even shorter but I ordered when schools were getting out for the day). They are located in a shopping Plaza with plenty of parking. Very spacious inside with lots of seating. I was immediately greeted by someone tending to the front area and happily greeted again at the pickup area. I ordered a small meat lovers, the single meatball, the creamy parmesan (because I saw the raving reviews), and some additional hot marinara. Pizza was hot and fresh and looked oh so good. The crispy pepperoni cups, the ham, bacon, sausage...my mouth was watering and I could not wait to taste this. Finally time to eat, I could taste everything!!! The sauce was just the right amount to allow the flavors of the meat and cheese to shine through. The meatball was huge and delicious! The parmesan- get extra. You will need some for your next order of wings. I sent pictures to my family and Mom requested a pizza too. So I will be back so she can experience her own! These leftovers are going to be the best. I just know it!“
