My wife's sandwich came out not exactly right, so he immediately had another made, even though we didn't request or require it. I want to contrast this with an experience at Subway two days prior. Our app order didn't print out at the store, but our credit card was charged. The store manager refused to make it right - we left without food and reversed the charges on our cc. Lee's is our go to sub shop now. Lesson learned - patronize mom and pop shops for great customer service.“
“I had the Gyro pita with no onions. The pro would be that the gyro was huge and it had plenty of meat. In my opinion you definitely get your money's worth. The only con was the tzatziki sauce. It lacked flavor. It didn't even taste like it. I am big on tzatziki sauce especially when I get a gyro. Overall, the food was good. It was fresh and hot. I would definitely recommend this establishment.“

I ordered the SmokeShack, kimchi fries, root beer, & yuzu lemonade. I liked the kimchi seasoning on the fries; the sauce, not so much. The SmokeShack had an unexpected kick of spice/heat which I liked.The service at this location was much better than Woodlawn; the employees seemed more organized. There was a good, chill vibe while I waited for my order which didn't take long. I was able to watch a little basketball. “I know I know I'm late to the party. But I finally took a chance and ordered the TikTok burger. So basically, it's the Five Guys grilled cheese, and burger. Don't walk run to five guys. It was so bomb I mean the bread was buttery and the burger was cooked to perfection. My only gripe is that I got a patty melt, fries and drink and spent $22 other than that 10 out of 10.“
“DQ is definitely a staple in the Queen City. I grew up going to DQ both the Central Ave and Wilkerson location. My favorite is the Peanut Buster Parfait with extra roasted peanuts, butterscotch dilly bars or dipped vanilla cones, and Reese/heath blizzards. I'm gonna miss DQ if he decides to close. The owner has done so much for the community. DQ was open before I was born. This brings back childhood memories for me. I hope he stays open as long as he can. I also understand after serving the community for years it's understandable to sell and enjoy the fruits of all his hard work to spend time with family. I'm gonna go as often as I can. Hands down the best service, staff and ice cream in the city.“

“Lunch at Anita's Mexican Grill. If you haven't been here, you're missing out. They are only open 11am until 2:30 pm so it's definately just a lunch place. The quantity of meat they give you in these tacos is unreal, especially for the price ! I got the carne asada taco on a corn tortilla ($4). The meat was a bit overcooked, but had a ton of flavor. Plus just LOOK at how much meat they give you ! I couldn't fold the taco, it was that much meat !!! I ended up eating all the meat I could inside the taco and then using a fork to eat the rest that would not fit inside. I got a chili relleno special ($9.50) which came with either a hardshell or flour tortilla with either shredded chicken or ground beef with rice on the side. I got the shredded chicken. It was nice and juicy and had nice flavor. Just look at how stuffed it is ! These came with chips and salsa too. Hubby got one beef hard shelled taco and one chicken soft shelled taco. This came with chips and salsa. They have fountain drinks with free refills. The seating area is small. However, they have both high chairs and low chairs (See photo). We came at 1:10pm and lunch was starting to die down, so we were able to get a table. However, I had read online that starting at Noon the line is out the door and seating is scarce. Highly recommend for getting alot of good food for the money spent. Orders are taken at the counter then they call your name. The only thing I did not like were that the people behind the counter were wearing a mask. If someone on their staff is sick, they should not be serving food. The masks also prevent genuine interaction with the customer. FYI..Everything is given to you "to go" whether you plan to eat there or not.“

“I was doing a return in a store when I saw the Mod Pizza sign. It was lunch, and I hadn’t eaten yet, so I went in. You can choose anything and everything you want on a pizza for around $10! I chose all meats except chicken and bacon, 5 veggies, and tripple cheese. The crust is super thin and delicious. It was the best pizza I’ve ever had!
