“I stopped by Scoops & Sprinkles off University City Blvd and was honestly impressed. It’s got that small, neighborhood ice cream shop vibe, but the quality is definitely up there.
The ice cream was fresh, creamy, and packed with flavor — not that watered-down stuff you get at chain places. They’ve got a good variety of flavors and toppings, so you can really customize what you want. The portions were solid too, definitely worth the price.
What stood out the most was the customer service. The staff was friendly, patient, and actually seemed like they enjoyed being there, which makes a big difference. It’s the kind of place you can bring your kids or just stop by after a long day and chill.
Overall, great spot in the University area. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“Local Scoop is a hidden gem! If you’re looking for homemade, rich, creamy ice cream, this is the place. It’s locally owned, and you can absolutely taste the quality in every scoop. It’s not the cheapest ice cream around, but you get what you pay for—premium ingredients and incredible flavor.
The must-try flavor is the Salted Peanut Butter & Oreo. It’s one-of-a-kind and hands down one of the best ice cream flavors I’ve ever had. Perfectly creamy, packed with flavor, and loaded with delicious mix-ins.
In a world full of chain ice cream shops, Local Scoop stands out by doing things the right way. Great product, local ownership, and ice cream that’s worth every penny. Highly recommend!!!“

“Let me tell a couple of things that makes this place something 😍
The freshness of their products and the variety of good flavors made this spot something worth telling about.... They craft 2 delicasees originally from Colombia that any one regardless they're nationality should try
1. Obleas: that is my personal favorite, imagine 2 very thin sugar sheets kinda like a very thin waffle with cream, dulce de leche and some other additions in between the 2 sheets that make you feel and explosion of flavors
2. Fruit Salad: sounds weird at the beginning however the mix of fresh fruits, with ice cream, cream and cheese makes this a worth trying dessert.

“Honeysuckle Gelato is a must-try at Optimist Hall. The gelato is super creamy, rich in flavor, and not overly sweet. They have a great variety of flavors and the portions are generous. Perfect spot to grab a treat after trying out the other food stalls. Highly recommend.“

“We finished dinner last night and unfortunately the place we ate at didn't have dairy free dessert options, so we walked over to honeysuckle. I opened a the door at 8:59PM and they close at 9PM. I felt so bad but the employees were very welcoming and let me try a couple flavors until I decided on a flavor. I was surprised how yummy their dairy free options were. Their blackberry lemon sorbet was delicious! It wasn't like most where it tastes like sugar granuals. Even my husband, who doesn't care for sorbet, enjoyed it! I'm looking forward to going back!“

“It’s inside the Sugar Donut shop. I dropped by yesterday with an intense craving of gelato and this little shop did not disappoint. The gelato flavors were on point. I had the rice flavor and the dark chocolate, both turned out to be delicious. Not too sweet but with plenty of flavor packed in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will go back soon.“
“I have gone here for years. In recent years I have not been due to being remote; but I came back and they still remembered me! The food is good wholesome food! The chicken salad on croissant is my favorite. It’s piled high and delicious. Get it all the way with mayo/mustard/lettuce/tomato. Very good. The sweet family run business is worth supporting!“

“We came in late after a long day of delayed air travel. It looked busy, so we were expecting slower service. Despite the crowd, the staff were friendly and attentive. Our food was very fresh and out quickly. Portions were generous and we were super pleased with the quality of the food. It was a nice change after eating crappy airport food all day.“

“I wish you all had a Location in Monroe NC. We need a Cold Stone Creamery in Monroe. You all have the BEST ICE CREAM. The only ice cream place in Monroe is mainly Brusters. Brusters taste nowhere near as Good as Cold Stone Creameries ice cream“
