“I stumbled across this place on Thursday, 02-15-24 while picking up dinner at another establishment. I was impressed by the gelato & truffle flavors; some were regular while others were eccentric.The young lady serving me was pleasant and offered me samples of gelato. I tried the caramel whiskey and was instantly in love. I bought a small cup with a scoop of caramel whiskey and cookie butter. While deciding on flavors, she informed me that each flavor came in either dark or milk chocolate. I choose a dark chocolate amaretto and a milk chocolate salted caramel. This was a good splurge and I'm looking forward to returning.“
“Don’t let a day go by without a quart of their frozen custard. I rarely due reviews but the quality, flavour and variety of their homemade custard is beyond words. Their Penguin Tracks are the best with every other one a close second. Thank you for being the best treat to enjoy every day!!“

“It was pretty yummy. My daughter liked it. It's difficult to find parking in this area but if you can find a spot, it's a pretty neat area in general. The inside of this establishment has a few tables for you to sit at and a shelf with toys for sale. It had that "old-school" feel to it but I didn't hate it. I didn't go much farther than front where we ordered ice cream so I'm not sure if we missed anything. We liked it though.“

“This might be the best ice cream I’ve ever had. No exaggeration. A little pricy but well worth it. You can tell they use proper dairy and real ingredients. Also, it’s not overly sweet so you can actually taste what’s in the ice cream. I had the cookie dough. Fantastic. Would recommend.“
“There's no place better! Waxhaw creamery has delicious ice cream, creative flavors, and the cutest area to sit outside and enjoy and hopefully see the train go by. I am a regular here and I've never had any frost bite or taste issues, it is so good! Service is efficient with an order and wait situation, much better than other ice cream shops in the area. “--Rant--- I have to say thus far I've been a bit disappointed in the variety of food available in Charlotte. There's a strong lack of diversity and such, but I'm keeping an open mind. That disappointment is what made TCBY such a welcome comfort; it was a relief to find a froyo place that had a great selection of both froyo flavors AND toppings. Seems like froyo isn't a big deal around these parts? IT SHOULD BE! Cleanliness of the dispensing stations and the toppings counter were solid. My dude at the cash register was friendly and attentive. The overall atmosphere was warm and comforting. And of course, the Froyo was fabulous AF. I got a mix of PB and CnC. My lil one dug deep into her milk chocolate covered with strawberries and every possible gummy candy they had. Glad to have found this place...I guess it was the sense of familiarity and comfort that really made the experience memorable, but of course that's just icing on the froyo; what really matters here are the goods and the good are sugary sweet~ Absolutely no complaints~ ---Overall--- Service: A.
