“I stumbled across this place on Thursday, 02-15-24 while picking up dinner at another establishment. I was impressed by the gelato & truffle flavors; some were regular while others were eccentric.The young lady serving me was pleasant and offered me samples of gelato. I tried the caramel whiskey and was instantly in love. I bought a small cup with a scoop of caramel whiskey and cookie butter. While deciding on flavors, she informed me that each flavor came in either dark or milk chocolate. I choose a dark chocolate amaretto and a milk chocolate salted caramel. This was a good splurge and I'm looking forward to returning.“

She actually told a customer he could get his coffee for free from the dealership since he was having his car serviced instead of paying her. Very unique spot which makes it cool. Kristen was so easy to work with and she wrote up a package that provided a lot of options without going over our budget. Our clients raved about the ice cream! It was 30 degrees outside, the building’s heat turned off at some point, and people were still getting in line for ice cream in their full winter gear. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a dessert vendor!“

“I frequent this Small Cakes location because it is closer to me. They have a good selection although my go to are red velvet, reese, and the brookie. I have never seen a brookie so big and just melts in your mouth. Soon as I enter the door, I am greeted with love and friendliness. The customer service is top-notch and that is very important to me especially being in the customer service industry for 25 plus years. I love the lady who takes my order (please forgive me for not remembering her name), she is so positive and gives quick service. She always ask me how have i been if she hasn't seen me in a while. That means a lot that they care about their customers. I know for a fact the cupcakes are hands down delicious and always fresh no matter what time of day I visit. “We had our son's 4 yr old birthday party at Ben and Jerry's. Jacob ran the event and did an excellent job with 10 3-4 yr olds. The kids made cookies, ice cream, did tie dye shirts, had pizza (Brixx next door) and had ice cream cake/sang happy birthday. It was very organized, they kept kids busy and overall was very fun. Each child got a to-go bag with their t-shirt and cookie. The store was closed to the public (2 hrs before opening time at 12). I'd highly recommend hosting a birthday party here and working with Jacob!“

“Omg. Corrado Gelato is so good it’s crazy! It is Sooooo fresh and bursting with scrumptiously rich flavor!! I fell so much in love with this gelato, I just HAD to bring them to Trilogy in Denver, where I live. Corrado came here Monday and the line didn’t stop the whole time he was here. He’s coming back on Labor Day and we are so lucky!!! Better yet…he’s starting bi-weekly home deliveries here every other Wednesday afternoon. Super easy! No more having to drive 30-40 minutes to get their gelato. Even our Trilogy restaurant (The Foundry) is considering carrying Corrado Gelato now! My only problem is that I can’t imagine eating regular ice cream now! Cherry Mania is my favorite so far but OH…that hazelnut (see comment below) sounds crazy good! And I haven’t tried the Sorbetto yet. So many flavors to discover….!!! If you love Corrado Gelato as much as I do and you live in a large-ish community, you might want to do something similar: arrange for Corrado Gelato to come for an event, or organize neighborhood pre-orders for home delivery.“

“Good ice cream in a good location! Nothing to complain about! We went on a weekday evening and there was only one person working. Despite there being a few people in line, he handled it like a champ! We were able to try samples and he helped clarify some of the ice cream names. I opted for the chocolate honeycomb and pumpkin, and both were great! The chocolate was rich and decadent with actual honeycomb pieces in it. The pumpkin had subtle spices, not too strong, which I liked. It paired well with the chocolate, giving it a bit of a pumpkin chocolate bread vibe. Overall, a great experience to satisfy a sweet tooth!“

“I was recommended this spot as a go to for cannolis, and I finally got the chance to try it out! I ordered the margherita pizza and a plain cannoli. The pizza was a little soupy on top and the bottom could've been cooked a tiny bit longer, but it still had good flavor. Also, their small pizza is quite big and could probably feed two people no problem!The cannoli was fantastic though. The shell had a nice crunch to it and it wasn't soggy at all. This is probably due to the fact that they are filling these to order. The filling was perfect, and if I hadn't mixed up the plain and the chocolate chip, then I would've gotten the chocolate chip cannoli. However, the plain was still great but the chocolate chips would've made it even better. If you are looking to sit down and eat or grab some cannolis to go, I would check this place out to see what you think.“

“--Rant--- I have to say thus far I've been a bit disappointed in the variety of food available in Charlotte. There's a strong lack of diversity and such, but I'm keeping an open mind. That disappointment is what made TCBY such a welcome comfort; it was a relief to find a froyo place that had a great selection of both froyo flavors AND toppings. Seems like froyo isn't a big deal around these parts? IT SHOULD BE! Cleanliness of the dispensing stations and the toppings counter were solid. My dude at the cash register was friendly and attentive. The overall atmosphere was warm and comforting. And of course, the Froyo was fabulous AF. I got a mix of PB and CnC. My lil one dug deep into her milk chocolate covered with strawberries and every possible gummy candy they had. Glad to have found this place...I guess it was the sense of familiarity and comfort that really made the experience memorable, but of course that's just icing on the froyo; what really matters here are the goods and the good are sugary sweet~ Absolutely no complaints~ ---Overall--- Service: A. “It was pretty yummy. My daughter liked it. It's difficult to find parking in this area but if you can find a spot, it's a pretty neat area in general. The inside of this establishment has a few tables for you to sit at and a shelf with toys for sale. It had that "old-school" feel to it but I didn't hate it. I didn't go much farther than front where we ordered ice cream so I'm not sure if we missed anything. We liked it though.“
