“Local Scoop is a hidden gem! If you’re looking for homemade, rich, creamy ice cream, this is the place. It’s locally owned, and you can absolutely taste the quality in every scoop. It’s not the cheapest ice cream around, but you get what you pay for—premium ingredients and incredible flavor.
The must-try flavor is the Salted Peanut Butter & Oreo. It’s one-of-a-kind and hands down one of the best ice cream flavors I’ve ever had. Perfectly creamy, packed with flavor, and loaded with delicious mix-ins.

“Wow! I've driven pass Andy's so many times and never stopped. I finally did and what an delicious experience it was. I had the Turtle Split it was the best banana split I've ever had. It was loaded with toasted pecans that really took the split over the top. I can't wait to go back and try something different. Andy's is a definite stop on my list now!!!“

“They have homemade ice cream here, and it's good! We went on a Food Truck Friday night, so it was extremely busy. However, they kept the line going fairly quickly, and still had time to explain things to newbies like us. We both got banana splits, and enjoyed them very much. We will return, for sure!“

But my girlfriend and I waited over 30 minutes in line from one end of the counter to the other, with a line out the door behind us.
Sophia, super friendly and wonderful. She was working everything by herself while the other two girls were just cleaning the same things over and over again leaving her to do all the work or so it seemed like. Cleaning the waffle maker and doing inventory while one person is handling a line out the door is poor business. We left feeling horrible for Sophia! Please give her a raise!“

“The tall young man working on Saturday 10/18 made my ice cream and did a great job. He was extremely kind and really put a smile on my face especially after a tough week.
