The coffees- we tried hot and cold- were each THE BEST we’ve had in Charlotte…no contest. No paper cups here if you eat in… coffee only as it should be served: in real mugs on saucers with decorative art in the foam that holds while you drink it. The bahn mi sandwich was light and tasty like it should be- loved the bulgogi one. The bread was beyond anything I’ve found locally. The brioche donuts aren’t overly sweet but they are just perfect. And the people were kind, patient and you could tell they took pride in the place and product, and they should it’s unique and delicious. 10/10 the best donuts in charlotte run don’t walk! “I had to take my mother on a road trip for surgery and we got there a bit early. I looked up and saw the title on the building and at a quick Google glance thought: "coffee shop with donuts and stuff" which actually was perfect in that simplicity. I walked in and was blown away by the array of colors and culinary treats. This meager line chef was suddenly a kid in a lego shop. The display cases just have to be seen and enjoyed in person even you dont do the whole "food is art" thing. Its the same joy of an ice creme shop with all the flavors except each flavor is an entirely different item. Willy Wonka music playing in your head and all that. I had so many culinary questions and wanted to run around in their kitchen screaming "wooooooooooooow neat" but I sadly didn't have time and just didnt have out of state bail money. Surgery was soon. The few things I grabbed would take longer than this thing will let me type to review. I'll just sum it up: I will 100% make the 1 hour and some change drive through a maze of school busses and SUVS to try new things in the future. I'm still drooling at the cakes on thier website. “I really wish I lived by this bakery. The closest one is 3 hours away from me. Luckily I was leaving the Charlotte area and had this place on my list of stops as I headed back to my hometown. I will say to keep in mind this location of Tous Les Jours is in the city and the main parking lot is VERY small and is shared by several other stores/offices. I parked a block away and walked to the establishment. Upon entry, you are immediately graced with the beautiful decor and easy access to the baked goods. Customers are encouraged to grab gloves, a tray, and tongs and select which items they would like from the wide selection. There were so many things I wanted to try but I had a long drive home and knew I'd be tempted to eat them all lol. I ended up selecting the strawberry croissant and the honey lavender macchiato with almond milk. I had no words for how divine both items were. The strawberry croissant is such a simple and well put together pastry but it really satisfied my sweet tooth without overpowering. I used to love eating cool whip with my fruit as a child and that's exactly what it reminded me of with the addition of the toasted croissant. I was delighted by how sweet and fresh the strawberries were as well. That's a pastry I will never forget. As a macchiato lover, the honey lavender macchiato was one of the best I have ever had. You could taste the essence of the lavender without it overpowering the coffee which was smooth and rich. I truly enjoyed my overall experience at Tous Les Jours from the helpful and kind service to the yummy goods/drinks. If I lived near one, I would definitely go often. I can't wait to visit again!“

“I'm a sucker for a good Greek restaurant/bakery so I had to stop in here. I ordered a ham and cheese pie, kokakia, and a cappuccino. The pie was flakey and the subtle sweetness from the powdered sugar paired well with the saltiness of the cheese and ham. The kokakia was a tasty little treat and the cappuccino hit the spot. “No visit to Optimist Hall will be complete without getting some desserts to go at Suarez. Browsing their selections makes me feel like a kid in a candy store! Of course I was far too full to eat any of them at the time, but trust me, they travel well and are just as good later. This trip we decided to try the Strawberry Chiffon and Tres Leches cake. Any time I see tres leches on a menu, I cannot pass it up! It was very good. I love that they have them individually made in containers since that helps to hold in the milk that makes tres leches so amazing. It is very rich so we have ate a little at a time. The Strawberry Chiffon was even more delicious than it was beautiful! I will definitely be getting it again on the next trip. It reminded me of a strawberry shortcake, only fancier. The cake was fluffy and the strawberries and cream were sweet without being overly so. I love trying different items every visit but this will certainly be a repeat every time. Tge tuxedo cake is our absolute favourite.The store manager was very receptive and helpful in resolving the mixup described below and expedited a new cake for us on the house.I placed an order online using Toast - the recommended service - and they gave the WRONG cake (even though we called ahead to check if it was prepared)! We ordered a chocolate cake (tuxedo) but were given a vanilla salted caramel cake. We are all so disappointed when we checked at home. We really enjoyed the chocolate cake the last time we got it and were looking forward to it.“

“Fav place to get a cheesecake for my husband's bday. The carrot cake one is one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. I pop in for pastries sometimes too. I really love their olive oil cake. The service is a little slow, but staff is very nice. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired because the line area for customers is so small and congested that everyone kind of stands on top of eachother waiting. That said, I would keep ordering cheesecakes from them even if they served them out of a dumpster. I think I'll try their macaroons next time.“

It was not to sweet AND seasoned well!The pumpkin pie was interesting but still super tasty. Not very cheesecake-y the consistency was more whipped mousse than firm. The crust was also somewhat crunchy but delicious. The whipped cream was fresh and not too sweet.The key lime square was rich, tart & with a perfect buttery graham cracker crust. I would drive 2.5 hours to Charlotte again just for these desserts!“
“I visited Great Harvest for the very first time and I was amazed by Mary’s kind greeting and people skills. I saw her banter with regulars while still preparing everyone’s orders. When she gave me my sandwich she said “I hope you enjoy your sandwich and I hope you come back.” She was so genuine when she asked me to come back I assumed she was an owner or something but I asked her today (on my second visit) and she said she didn’t have any ownership. She is just the kind of employee I would want to have working for me.“

I love the play on the name Sunflour: indicating everything is baked in house. The fact that they had lots of Vegan options for me and even more options for my family was amazing. I of course got the Lavender 5 shots Latte with Oat Milk and it was probably one of the best cups I’ve ever had. You could actually smell the lavender. The foam was perfect and the cup was just delightful delicious. I also bought 4 cupcakes ( 2 red velvet, 1 lemon & 1 pistachio) they didn’t even make it home the kids ate them up. I was told they were finger licking good. I also purchased 2 vegan scones, 1 cheddar & chive biscuits & 1 cinnamon roll. I think I paid $40 for 8 bakery items & 2 lattes.
