“Usually get my Verdant bread at the Matthews Farmers Market on Saturdays. Love the calamata loaf. Stopped by their storefront today to get some ciabbata and baguettes. Going to my friends house for lunch, he's from Italy and loves Verdants breads. They're the only ones who come close to true Italian style bread.“

“I found out about this bakery on my visit back home in MN. I was so impressed I had to find a location near me here in Charlotte so I was very happy to learn Charlotte has a few locations. I live near this one so I came and checked it out on Christmas day with my sons. This was their first visit. Overall it was a very nice Christmas day treat. We all enjoyed our pastries that seem to have just the right about of sweetness in them and that's what I love most about this bakery, you don't feel guilty about indulging in a sweet treat because it's not overly sugary. They have other goodies as well that aren't sweet so if desserts aren't your thing you can still find something for you. The only thing that I don't like is they don't heat up your pastries but they do have a microwave you can use in the dining area and also my latte wasn't hot enough for me. It was like as soon as I picked it up from the counter it was already warm which is weird as I had literally picked it up as soon as she finished making it so idk if they're machine was faulty or they just don't use the hottest setting or what but when I order coffee I like it hot, I do not like cold or room temp coffee at all lol and I understand not serving it extremely hot but I should feel some kind of heat when I'm drinking it lol.“

“Although we arrived within the last hour before the store closed, the doughnut was absolutely delicious. The young man at the counter was still gracious enough to serve us even though we interrupted their closing duties. We got the White Chocolate Pistachio and it was fantastic! I can't wait to return to try many of the other offerings.“

“First time stopping in, great first impression. The cashier was extremely helpful when I told him it was my first time. He explained the menu and their best-sellers. I got the banh mi sandwich with beef and a hot Vietnamese coffee. Great experience, will be returning.“

She provided donuts for 60 of our guest and we went through the catering platform and the whole experience from start to finish was easy. Any questions I had I was able to email her directly and get a timely response. All of my guests enjoyed the donuts. I look forward to working with her on future events.“

“Wow! Such a find! Truly authentic and delicious Greek food, all cooked fresh from scratch with heart and integrity. This place is a jewel. We had the gyros - as good as any we’ve had in a lifetime of eating Greek gyros - and a perfectly cooked falafel. The fresh spinach with feta side was so simply good we had to ask the chef how he did it. Add in a warm welcome and the desire to serve honest, great food: winner on every front. Unpretentious, too and fair prices - Mocco fills the bill in every way.“

The good thing is the bakery even gave free complimentary water if you didn’t want to purchase a drink. The atmosphere was very calming. “We stopped into La Dolcekca Bakery Cafe today. This is a hidden gem! Never expected one of the best cheesecakes my husband and I have ever had!! The passion fruit cheesecake is an absolute must! Usually cheesecakes are so dense and heavy but not this one. Light, fluffy and amazing with the most exquisite passion fruit on the top. This restaurant also serves brunch, lunch, and has a coffee/tea bar as well. Surprisingly cute atmosphere. Located off Montford drive beside Jeff’s bucket shop. Unexpected but delightful! I’m going back for that key lime pie! And to top it all off it is a local business.“

“It's quite an experience to go to Amelie's. First of all, the atmosphere is amazing. The restaurant is quite literally filled with decorations that reflect the French culture like a partial Eiffel Tower, Napoleon portraits, macaroons hanging from the ceiling, a Mona Lisa painting, etc. The seating is very unique. We sat around a table with a lighted tree in the middle. There is so much art on the walls that it is like being in the Louvre. The food was delicious, fresh, and flavorful.“

“I enjoy this location a lot! It's very spacious on the inside, and they have beautiful pastries. I recommend the raspberry lemon tart as it is very refreshing and light. It's a little expensive (as a college student), but I enjoy coming here. The workers are nice and intentional about service, and it's always clean on the inside.“
