“I have been back here 3 times in 1 week.I am a Plain pound cake girl but tried the butter cream pound cake the first day, went back and got the plain. It had just what I was looking for, thick and moist, some crispy edge parts, some deep gooey buttery parts, those are my favorite parts. I also bought 1 peanut butter cookie and had to come back and get 3 more a few hours later. Then I came back when they reopened and bought more. Peanut butter cookies were perfectly baked and moist in the center!! Will frequent here weekly on cheat day lol“

“We walked by here on a Saturday night around 7 pm and it was closed, but we saw people inside and one customer picking up a cake. We made eye contact, but kept walking. We circled back a few minutes later and the one worker came out and opened the shop back up for us. I think it helped that we had a bunch of kids with us. Needless to say, we bought a ton of stuff and was limited to what was on display. The inside of the shop is cute, but there is no room to eat there. The decor is old school and feels very mom and pop. I had the red velvet cupcake, which was very good! I also had a bite of a friend's vanilla chai cheesecake. The slice was huge and was so good, extremely rich, this slice is sharable for sure. The staff was great and we are grateful for them opening just for us!“
“Super cool coffee shop in downtown Landis. Who would have thought! I love it. Absolutely gorgeous inside. All the vibes. But the coffee is what we care about, am I right? So, I ordered a latte. It's a little on the sweeter side, but the espresso was delicious. Far superior to Starbucks. Cashier told me about their specials and was really nice. Can't wait to go back and try more things.“

“HOW this place exists WHERE it does is wild to me. The gas station it's attached to is fine but the whole Attached to a Gas Station is a strange factor when you pull in. Then you walk through a dimensional door into a place with beautiful design, cozy but modern furniture. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and patient (as I took too long to order because the options were unique and interesting!!)Was the coffee wonderful? Yes. VERY much so. Beyond the chains of course but even beyond the craft coffee scene too.What shocked me is the FOOD was good. “I last minute came to order a cake on the 7th of January and she got it done the next day before 5pm since I was having my birthday on the 8th. She really listened to my thoughts and idea about the cake and was very patient(the last photo is the style i wanted). The cake even tasted delicious! And the icing was like whipped cream but didn't melt it was perfect I recommend coming here if you have some kind of emergency or have your cake done right because that's what she did, 10/10 im getting my cakes here. “I recently had cookies made for a baby shower and they were absolutely amazing! I live in TX and was hosting a shower in Concord NC. I came across Cara’s Cookies on a previous trip to NC and loved the cookies and the story behind them. I thought what better way to support a local company with such a heartfelt mission, than have them make the cookies for the baby shower! Tom and his crew made it so easy. He communicated with me via text by sharing ideas and options. On the day of the shower I picked up the most perfect cookies! The decorated cookies were absolutely beautiful and the colors matched the shower decor perfectly. The chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies (not pictured) were beautiful and tasted so very good. The cookies were so soft and flavorful! I highly recommend Cara’s Cookies!“

“A small bread and pastry shop that is Latino owned and run has been serving the Latino community for years. We are not Latino but we love going here for the pastries. Prices are very reasonable and the pastries are always delicious. Some are sweeter than others but in my opinion they each delicious in their own right. They are a cash only business so keep that in mind. Sometimes the cashier can only speak Spanish but they get their message across either by writing down the amount you owe or by just taking what currency you have out and giving you the change. They are always friendly!!!“

This time I have to complain about the service with a lady, I’ve been here around 7:30 and that particular lady is not nice at all. I now she wants to go home but that is not the attitude. So today I came by at 5:39 to avoid her attitude and apparently is the same. I think she does a good job but not in the service area with customers. Thanks.“
