“Sweet Magic made a custom Black Forest birthday cake for my husband! The taste was great and the portion was huge!! When I was speaking to a man at the shop when ordering, he said it would feed 20-25 people but even after serving everyone, we had sooo much left over! I had a mix of Indian and American guest and all the American guest said that this was the best cake they have ever tasted! I definitely agree! They were professional when taking the order and asked many questions to make sure I got what I ordered. I was able to send a photo to the number to show them exactly what I wanted. “We love their breads, truly some of the best in the US. The owners who run the bakery and employees who work there are awesome too. We have been going there less over the past year because many of their breads appear and taste burnt. I thought I was overreacting but you can clearly see the blackened areas of their breads in the images on their google page and my cousin who is a baker in Europe said their breads are burnt when he saw them at my house here. Perhaps because of such high demand for their breads they have been cooking them hotter or are just cooking them too long. If they start making their breads without burning them I will start buying far more again.“

“We discovered Amelie's while walking back to our hotel from the St. Patrick's Day street fair in Uptown, and the moment we walked in the door we knew we'd hit the jackpot. It wasn't just the pleasant smell of coffee that pleased the senses, it was also the funky design of the cafe itself and of course, the amazing selection of goodies that greeted us in case.

Everything looked so good, we'd love to have sampled one of each. Since that wouldn't have been a good idea, I decided on the Key Lime tart while my wife opted for a slice of chocolate butter cheesecake. But since one just wasn't enough, we also got a brownie cheesecake brownie to split! All were amazing, especially the brownie cheesecake! We can't wait for our next trip to Charlotte so we can sample some of the other offerings.

Service runs slow as they need to figure out their system. First you get the pastries, then at the end of the line you order drinks, which is what takes the longest and should instead be first. Fix this.
