I asked if Ube is like taro and was told yes. It's not at all in my opinion. Also it's very gritty, and the bobas are either over cooked or melted as they are not firm and too big to suck up straw. “I had not heard of this bakery but a friend suggested meeting there a couple evenings ago. This was the Burke, VA location. The choice of pastries was pretty amazing, what we had was fresh and truly outstanding, service was efficient and friendly, and the place itself was very clean. Will be back!“
