“We walked by here on a Saturday night around 7 pm and it was closed, but we saw people inside and one customer picking up a cake. We made eye contact, but kept walking. We circled back a few minutes later and the one worker came out and opened the shop back up for us. I think it helped that we had a bunch of kids with us. Needless to say, we bought a ton of stuff and was limited to what was on display. The inside of the shop is cute, but there is no room to eat there. The decor is old school and feels very mom and pop. I had the red velvet cupcake, which was very good! I also had a bite of a friend's vanilla chai cheesecake. The slice was huge and was so good, extremely rich, this slice is sharable for sure. The staff was great and we are grateful for them opening just for us!“
“Love these cookies!! I have a fatal tree nut allergy, and always have to take precautions when ordering sweets (especially since my family seems to love the almond and macadamia ones). The worker double-checked with me on my allergies, wore a different set of gloves, and put my cookie in a separate box. She was so nice about it.The little things save lives !“
“I purchased gluten-free chocolate muffins for my daughter's birthday. The muffins were perfect! Everyone at the party wanted to know where they came from.I told them the service was great, the store is beautifully set up, and the owner is the nicest! I recommend this place highly. Yummi Muffin also offers dairy free and sugar free options.“
“I last minute came to order a cake on the 7th of January and she got it done the next day before 5pm since I was having my birthday on the 8th. She really listened to my thoughts and idea about the cake and was very patient(the last photo is the style i wanted). The cake even tasted delicious! And the icing was like whipped cream but didn't melt it was perfect I recommend coming here if you have some kind of emergency or have your cake done right because that's what she did, 10/10 im getting my cakes here. Gracias Amiga!“
“HOW this place exists WHERE it does is wild to me. The gas station it's attached to is fine but the whole Attached to a Gas Station is a strange factor when you pull in. Then you walk through a dimensional door into a place with beautiful design, cozy but modern furniture. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and patient (as I took too long to order because the options were unique and interesting!!)Was the coffee wonderful? Yes. VERY much so. Beyond the chains of course but even beyond the craft coffee scene too. What shocked me is the FOOD was good. Coffee shop food in the US is normally microwaved nonsense filled with chemicals and fake flavors, but the bagels and croissants were so excellent, the meat/cheese quality was so impressive.Ill be back, soon, and often.“
“The cinnamon latte there was delicious l! The two ladies in there were polite and very helpful. The woman serving me even admitted she didn't even try the seasonal menu but still made a good recommendation. Is the best policy and this is a hidden gem if you don't get this ☕? you're missing out. It deserves your allegiance...pun intended!“
“Our daughters received their black belts in Tae Kwon Do and we wanted some festive cookies to celebrate. When I reached out to Jen she was quick to respond. I sent her a picture of what we wanted and let her know when we needed the cookies. When I picked up the cookies they were perfect. They were exactly as I had requested and tasted fantastic! We also picked up several of their other cookies for our group to try. The Oreo was definitely the favorite. We will definitely order from her again! Can’t say enough great things about Cara’s Cookies.“
“A small bread and pastry shop that is Latino owned and run has been serving the Latino community for years. We are not Latino but we love going here for the pastries. Prices are very reasonable and the pastries are always delicious. Some are sweeter than others but in my opinion they each delicious in their own right. They are a cash only business so keep that in mind. Sometimes the cashier can only speak Spanish but they get their message across either by writing down the amount you owe or by just taking what currency you have out and giving you the change. They are always friendly!!!“
“Such a good bakery and close by! Great service. It was my first time visiting. I tried the brownie with fudge, oatmeal pie and got a sprinkle cookie for my 4 year old. They do offer sour dough bread, I will be coming back for that tomorrow.“
“10 stars. Best cakes in Concord! I have been going to this delicious bakery for 16 years. When I moved out the state I would take the cakes by plane and by the road. Yes, this kind lady and her husband make the best cakes in my opinion because they always taste fresh. And the cakes are not very sweet with amazing whipped cream that is also not sweet. The cakes are amazing and on point: 100%. This is the only cakes I will always buy. God bless her and her family. A definite must try to believe me.“
“Come here from time to time when planning larger than family-sized events for bread, baked desserts and side items like chips and pretzels. Many people call this the "day old" bread store, but I have always found their items to be fresh and in date and at a more affordable price than retail grocery stores.“
“I love these donuts. They are the closest I can get to my fav from back home. It's awesome they fill them right in front of you. There's even a cute little area to sit & eat. The service is always great, except the first time I went in there, the lady had such an attitude & acted put out that I was placing an order.“
