“We had thought it was nice to find an allergy friendly bakery. We were told the cakes were not cross-contaminated; however, I got severely sick later. There apparently IS cross-contamination of some kind. The young girl working the counter could have been nicer. It seemed to be a chore to wait on customers. The furniture is plastic and not comfortable. Hopefully, as it grows in business, the owner can upgrade the furniture, but they do need to make excellent customer service a priority so that they can grow. Most importantly, do not lead us to believe it is safe to eat when it is not. We would have been happy to leave and find somewhere else to go, rather than suffer needlessly.Dietary restrictions: We were told that the cakes are not cross-contaminated with nuts or tree nuts, but I still got sick, so apparently, they are.Parking: Parking is on Innes or Main or the small lot across the street. Expect to walk a ways during busy times of the day.“

“I'm a cupcake kid. I try cupcakes everywhere I go.Abigail's cupcakes are something to be cherished.Peanut butter chocolate - the chocolate cake tastes more like dark chocolate. It is intense. Paired with the peanut buttery icing...it's the perfect ratio of chocolate to peanut butter intensity.Sugar cookie - um edible cookie dough, yes please. Moist cake with an actual sugar cookie flavor.Lemon - light, fluffy, and delicately lemon flavored.Wedding cake - definite almond flavor hitting. Just delightful. Each cake was moist, packed with an appropriate flavor profile, and topped with icing that matched like a puzzle piece. It's obvious that a lot of thought and careful planning went into the creation of these scrumptious delicacies.Abigail's is an hour away from me and I will be back.“

Flowers Baking Co (Nature's Own) Bakery • $

“I'm not sure why Google wanted me to rate this place like it was a restaurant, but it is a discount bread and bakery shop that also has other food items like chips and gravy and whatever else seems to be in stock at the moment. Their prices are great. And I've never had dry bread just because it was discounted. Although I have had some Bakery items that were slightly dry. But given how much I save, I don't mind. I don't buy my bread from anywhere else. The staff is friendly. I definitely recommend this business.“

Odalys Panadaria Y Pasteleria Bakery • $$

“A small bread and pastry shop that is Latino owned and run has been serving the Latino community for years. We are not Latino but we love going here for the pastries. Prices are very reasonable and the pastries are always delicious. Some are sweeter than others but in my opinion they each delicious in their own right. They are a cash only business so keep that in mind. Sometimes the cashier can only speak Spanish but they get their message across either by writing down the amount you owe or by just taking what currency you have out and giving you the change. They are always friendly!!!“
